Sierra was worried about Nathan the entire time he was gone. She was afraid he would push himself too hard while he was recovering, especially if he had another major vision when no one was there to stop him.
But it turned out there was nothing to fret about because he made it home in one piece. He seemed exhausted when she came over so she suggested they forgo attempting to write today and do something relaxing. They ended up watching a movie and to avoid hurting him by cuddling traditionally she laid her head in his lap.
He didn't seem to mind since he absentmindedly played with her hair for most of it. Butterflies swarmed in her stomach since she had never had anyone play with her hair before unless you counted her mother when she was little.
What did this mean for them? She had been the one taking all of the initiative up until now but he was doing this of his own accord.
