CHAPTER TWENTY-TWO

Viscus and Enamor sensed the intruders. In an instant, they teleported from Oblivion to the Void of space. The two greater gods blocked the paths of the ten seekers. The seeker-titans were titans at their cores and did not flinch before the presence of the greater gods. They all grew excited having found another seed of life for their father and master as well as two gods to assimilate or destroy.

"Are you ready to submit to the Forgotten One?" One of the massive seeker-titans asked.

"You may leave now and live. Stay and die." Enamor offered. Viscus saw the looks in the eyes of the seeker-titans and didn't wait for a response. Viscus unleashed several powerful blasts of divine energy at their foes stopping any response before it left the mouths of the seeker-titans. The blasts of energy obliterated four of the seeker-titans in an instant. Realizing that they were overmatched, the remaining seeker-titans turned to retreat.

"You fool!" Enamor gasped before vanishing from his brother's side and reappearing next to two of the seeker-titans. Enamor grabbed them and hurled them towards one of the gas giant worlds where they were caught in a gravity of the gas giant. Enamor was crumbling something into dust in his hands. The seeker-titans realized that their rings had been removed and destroyed by Enamor as they fell to their eternal prison below. No one could hear the screams of their agony as the gravity of the gas giant crushed their massive titanic bodies. They were trapped and in great pain from the incredible gravity of the gas giant.

Viscus realized his hastiness had indeed caused an issue for them. He followed his brother's lead and teleported beside a seeker-titan and hurled the titan into the gravity of one of the gas giant worlds they created for a defense against such foes after removing the rings that protected them from such obstacles of the Void. In the blink of an eye the seeker-titans had been dispatched by the two gods.

"Now we will have to watch for those four seeker-titans to reform and dispatch them properly," Enamor griped at his brother after the battle had ended.

"My mistake, brother. At least we know defending our seed of life isn't a violation of the laws of the Marble of Godly Doom." Viscus noted. Enamor eyed his brother curiously.

"You always plot, even when it is not in your best interest." Enamor scolded. He knew his brother all too well. He also knew that one day he may have to deal with him on a more permanent basis. Enamor left his brother to clean up his mess and returned to his godly realm. Viscus hissed at his brother's departure.

"I already know that I don't need to worry about them for a thousand years brother. Too bad you do not know this." Viscus spat before returning to his godly realm.

Sir Fellis opened his eyes. He was in his own bed. His wounds were healed and he was alive. But how? Sir Fellis stood up from his bed and left his room.

"Fellis!" A familiar voice called. He spun around to see his wife in the living room.

"Blanche," he gasped. Tears rolled from his eyes down his cheeks as he ran to her and embraced her in his arms.

"I was so worried for you after I heard about the wounds you received in battle. It would seem that the King's sacrifice saved your life." Blanche said between happy sobs.

"I thought you were dead—wait! The king sacrificed himself for me. How?" Sir Fellis asked.

"You defeated Captain Jorus but were also wounded, mortally. Your friends tried to save you but could not. It had to be powerful magic that only King Solaris possessed. His use of the positive energy destroyed him when he healed your wounds." Blanche explained as she looked into her husband's eyes. Both of them sobbed while they embraced one another tightly.

Their embrace was interrupted by a pounding at the door. The two elves were not so quick to let go of one another to check the door. The pounding became relentless. With a frustrated sigh, Sir Fellis released his wife from his arms and moved to answer the door. He opened the door to see a frantic Eleanor.

"It's bad!" She gasped panting for air from obviously running.

"What happened?" Blanche asked as she joined her husband at the door.

"My mother abdicated and left me as queen," Eleanor began.

"That would seem to be a good idea given the circumstances. I know you don't want the responsibility but you have friends that are here to help you." Sir Fellis said.

"That's not what troubles me. I had a vision of Enamor. He has awaken! He said that the dragon comes for us but the armies have turned back." Eleanor admitted reluctantly.

"You had a vision of one of the mythical creator, gods?" Blanche asked skeptically.

"I know it sounds ludicrous, but I did." Eleanor said sincerely. After seeing a few interesting things along his adventures with Eleanor, Sir Fellis did not doubt her.

"I believe you," Sir Fellis said with a comforting voice. Blanche looked at him in disbelief.

"What would you have me do?" Sir Fellis asked.

"It's Keltorilax, the dragon that we killed already. The Vermin Trinity raised him, I guess. I think he will seek out Fauna first. She scored the killing blow against him." Eleanor said. Sir Fellis looked his wife in the eyes and kissed her passionately.

"You know I have to help," Sir Fellis said as he pulled away from kissing his beloved wife.

"Damn you, Fellis! You almost died. What are you trying to prove?" Blanche cried. Sir Fellis just sighed and turned to get his weapons. He strapped them on and left without donning his armor, leaving his wife to worry for his life once more. Blanche slammed the door shut behind them as they left the house.
