Adonis made Zeph wear the plain mask with only eyes highlighted on it. And he took out a mask from his jacket and wore it over his face.

His mask was the portrayal of a wraith with skull eyes and bone jaw hiding his face completely. Moreover, there were two horns on top of it. It displays the proper features of wraith which is a rare blood-sucking spirit of legends.

Adonis gestured him to follow him and suddenly increased his speed. Zeph followed behind him closely. After some straight running, he jumped up to the roof and began dashing through ledges and terraces.

After traveling for few minutes, he stopped right on the edge of the roof with a clear vision of the large mansion ahead.

"You will follow me and your objective is to not get killed as collateral damage."

Zeph was confused. Even it was only a few days have passed with him in the capital. He can easily understand that the ahead house was not ordinary.

With that level of security and grandeur. He almost believed that this must be a house of some bigshot probably a council elder.

Before he can express his approval, Adonis jumped to the gate. Zeph hurriedly scurried behind him. Zeph noticed that jacket and clothes of Adonis were pitch black which hides him in darkness.

Two guards who were sitting at the door were sleeping peacefully when Adonis arrived before them. Suddenly it struck in the mind of Zeph.

He linked all the instructions and exchanges with Adonis. Before he can even make his mind about his thought, in front of his eyes Adonis swiped his hand.

A dull sound was heard, and two heads rolled in the feet of Adonis. He turned around and looked straight into the eyes of Zeph.

A dense killing aura struck Zeph squarely. He found the wraith watching him this time no less than a real evil spirit.

He was scared stiff with the killing intent.

Suddenly it vanished like a puff of smoke, Zeph found himself standing in the same position with his back soaked with cold sweat. Chill in his spine had still not subsided from that emotionless gaze from beneath that mask.

Adonis turned around and with a strong kick blasted the ten-foot large wooden doors apart. Soon alarms began wailing in the mansion with several Warriors rushing outside to catch the intruder.

'Assassin'. So this was Adonis hinting at him too. He kills people, innocent people, for sake of money thought Zeph. Suddenly He found the concept of learning from Murderer very revolting.

In front of his eyes, Adonis calmly strolled through incoming warriors like it was his day to day work. Wherever he passed, heads fell from the bodies. It was a total massacre his strength was on another level compared to these warriors.

A warrior manifested a large arrow above his body but before he can shoot it down he looked in disbelief at his chest. Claw as the blade has penetrated deep inside his heart. He soon lost his strength and collapsed on the floor.

Adonis pulled back the claw blade which was attached to his wrist from the body and vanished inside the mansion interior.

Soon sounds of crying and painful screams are transmitted from inside. After some time, Wraith came outside with a man's head in his hand. He casually marked a circle with blood trailing from his severed head on the floor and placed it inside it.

Zeph was still questioning his decision when he found Adonis standing right before him. He casually touched the blade with the neck of Zeph.

"Now you have seen what evil I am. This is your last chance, go away. If you still want to follow a mass murdered you can follow me."

With these words, he retracted his claw blade and walked out of Mansion.

At this moment Sun just rose above the horizon with a small amount of daylight began to appear. Soon there were cries of horror from neighbors, Zeph hurriedly ran after Adonis almost unconsciously. Even a fool will not stand there with a mask, after such a massacre.

Zeph without speaking traveled behind Adonis who in the way removed his jacket and burned it on the way. He removed his mask and hide it in his clothes. Zeph noticed the casualness in each of his moves like done hundreds of times by him.

They undetected reached the shop of Adonis where Zeph mulling over his raging thoughts sat at the hall.

After few minutes, Adonis came outside with the perfect dress of shopkeeper and his metallic arm full-on display. There was no sign this man was just a few hours ago killing people like cutting grass.

Adonis walked and sat before Zeph on the chair. He closed his eyes and then after few seconds opened them.

"So You can leave now!"

"Are you not afraid I will tell this to Elven or other authority. "

"If I took you along this meant I have my way to deal with it. This is the dark side of the world here actions without thinking only leads you to your grave faster."

"Why?"

"What "

"Why? Why are you doing this?"

"Hahaha….." Adonis laughed over the question of Zeph.

"I thought you were mature Zeph but looks like you are still young. What why? Of course for the money. My organization pays me to kill.
