And Simon answered their call with a single statement that nobody understood "Et super mos absit hoc hodie!"

"EeEEellllleeeeeelllllleeeeeeuuuuuuu!"
I, too, yelled a battle cry at the top of my lungs. I had no idea what Simon had just spouted but from Camilla's giggling, I could guess that Simon thought that spouting nonsense was his way of getting out of the earlier predicament.
"I forbid death upon this day," Camilla said.
"What?" I answered a bit at a loss.
"Ancient Latin," she replied smugly, "He said 'I forbid death upon this day'."
I laughed aloud "Then he is gonna be really disappointed in everyone here,"
Camilla did not reply and instead took a deep breath. I did the same, zoning out everything in my surroundings. The environment became a world of electrical pulses traveling across several networks.
I perceived the world through my lightning and sped my heartbeat to inhuman levels. I was present now, at this moment, at this point in time. I could feel the electrifying air saturating my lungs, the electrified ground vibrating at the rhythm of the approaching enemy.
Then I took a step forward, everyone followed in tandem. Camilla the first, and then the others. Then I took a second step, and this time everyone followed simultaneously.
Third step…
Fourth step…
Fifth step…
Then light jogging…
Speeding up…
Running …
Running faster….
Then suddenly, everyone disappeared into motes of light particles that re-constructed itself hundreds of feet above the horde, dozens of miles away from our initial position. We were literally 'diving' into battle.

Despite a rough childhood in the slums, Omari had everything a guy could want - a loving girlfriend, an understanding sister, a wonderful teacher, and his dream job.

The cause of the apocalypse was unknown, but Omari's workplace was believed to be the origin point of the unfortunate events.
Fifteen years after the start of the Apocalypse... after all the pain and suffering... after losing everything he cared about, Omari sent his memories back in time to make sure that the future he lives in, never came to be.
Will he be able to uncover the mystery of The Trees? Will he be able to protect all those he has lost? Will he succeed, or will his attempt be washed away by the currents of time?

I think I have outdone myself with this Novel. I wanted to write something unique, fun, serious, and also realistic. Like what would happen if massive trees grew out of the ground one day? Here is your answer. XD My writing quality is lit.... 10/10 Stability of updates.... well things might look good right now, but I have a next novel I dedicate my time to so.... 7/10 Story Development... I plan to give this a real novel feel so 10/10 Character Design... I think I excel in this category, backstory, and everything links together so 10/10 World Background...Depending on how this novel does, I will create a map of the world for fans so 10/10 Note: This is a harem (somewhat). The relationships tend to get complicated but there will be no NTR. It will have a happy ending (somewhat). And just read and review your opinion.
i have never actually tried to review a novel properly but i will try... This novel is better for slow readers, and those that love gradual progressing plots and reasonable developments, it has a great amount of mystery to it along with a thrilling feeling while reading it, the few fight scenes it has had so far are wonderfully written any you can really imagine it. Relations ships are stable and not erratic, when a relationship is made they are set in stone until otherwise made to change unlike some authors that have the relationships of people changing day in and day out. i would say this novel is one where you have to think on what might happen next as the while the progressing may seem almost random it is great... and i am repeating thing right now... anyway what i was saying is that if you want to guess what is going to happen next you need to pay attention to little details. The entire novel so far flows from one situation to another seamlessly and beautifully. Since, it was so good i will just leave the total score at 5 stars, and ignore the stability....

Até o momento A História Continua muito boa, pena o ritmo lento de postagens, vi os outros romances do autor e esse é de longe o melhor, é menos exagerado e mais organizado
É uma história muito bem construída, apesar de bastante cruel, com certeza um prato cheio para quem gosta de fantasia pós-apocalíptica, Espero que o prosseguimento da história não me decepcione
