Chapter 6: Interrupted night

*Meanna*

We decided to go out and eat at Chick-Fil-A. I got a regular chicken sandwich, a small mac & cheese, and a small cookies and cream milkshake. Kennady got a grilled chicken club sandwich, a greek yogurt parfait, and a lemonade. Jenna got a cobb salad and a strawberry milkshake. Lastly, Shayla got a cool wrap, a small fry, and a sweetened iced tea.

"Everyone done," I ask once I finish my food.

"Yerp," Shayla says, making us laugh. We get up to throw our trash away and head back to the car to head to the club.

We show our ID's and are let in, heading straight to the bar. Kennady and Shayla get Shirley Temples while I get a Strawberry Daiquiri and Jenna gets a Vodka Sunrise. Apparently, the legal age to drink used to be twenty-one and older, but that changed to eighteen and older in twenty-thirty. My mom tells me that America finally caught up to the rest of the world.

"Let's hit the dance floor," Shayla yells over the music. We give her nods and then follow behind her.

We all dance and grind on each other and we're having a great time until some dudes come up to us.

"Wanna dance sexy," some greasy looking guy asks Kennady.

"Get lost sleaze-ball," she tells him, not even looking in his direction. This angers him and he grabs her arm aggressively.

"Who you talking to like that you little whore," he spits at her. We look at each other and roll our eyes before she springs into action. She grabs his hand on her arm and twists it until it's close to snapping.

"Ow you crazy b**ch," he yells out, trying to get out of her hold.

"If you touch or talk to any woman like that ever again, I will hunt you down and end your life," she threatens him.

"Okay, fine, whatever! Just let me go," he continues to yell. She lets him go and pushes him away from her. He gives her one last look before scurrying away.

"I swear, some guys are just so disgusting," I say, shaking my head.

"My thoughts exactly," Jenna says with disgust.

"Let's not let this ruin our night," Shayla says. We nod in agreement and then head to the bar to refill our drinks.

We're sitting at the bar laughing about something Kennady said when someone puts their hands around my eyes from behind. My reflexes kick into gear and I turn around kicking my assailant where the sun don't shine and I immediately regret it.

"Oh my gosh! I'm so sorry," I say, bending down to help my boyfriend up to his feet. I ask the bartender for some ice and hand it to Jake.

"Looks like we're not having kids. What was that for," he groans out in pain.

"I'm so sorry babe. Guys have been coming up to us and hitting on us all night. I thought you were another one," I tell him, looking at him in pity for his injured balls.

"Wow dude, beat up by your own girlfriend," Jax says, patting Jake's shoulder.

Jake gives him the stink eye and Jenna says, "You want to be next?"

He looks at her in horror and says, "You wouldn't!"

"Oh honey, I would," she tells him sweetly. We laugh at them and the guys join us at the bar.

"What are you guys even doing here and how did you find us," Shayla asks them suspiciously.

They both choke on their drinks at the same time and then they look at each other.

"We may or may not have looked at your GPS from Find my Friends," Jaxon says, rubbing the back of his neck.

The girls and I look at each other and roll our eyes at our stalkers.

*Jaxon*

I'm surprised they haven't killed us yet, but I'm definitely not letting my guard down any time soon.

"Come dance with me, baby," I say in Jen's ear so she can hear me. She gives me a look like she still wants to kill me but follows me anyway.

"Don't be mad, I love you," I tell her with a pout.

"You're lucky you're cute," she says, leaning on her tiptoes to kiss me. I give her a wide smile and then turn her around and pull her close so her back can dance on my front.

We dance to a few songs and then head back to the bar, where Shayla and Kennady are sitting talking to a couple of guys. I don't see Meanna or Jake anywhere so they're probably on the dance floor.

"Hey ladies, who are these guys," I give the guys a look and they start to squirm, making me smirk.

"This is Bradley Gomez and Dylan Strong," Kennady says, pointing at each guy.

"What's up," Dylan tries to shake my hand but I just look at it and he eventually retracts his hand slowly.

I am not showing pleasantries until I confirm that these guys are not creeps.

"Jax! Don't be rude," Kennady yells at me.

I just shrug my shoulders and she huffs in annoyance.

"Excuse my boyfriend, he's a little protective of us girls," Jenna tells them, throwing a glare my way.

"It's no problem. I would be protective too with these girls," the Bradley guys says.

I narrow my eyes at him but leave him alone. I'm just giving them a hard time. I know the girls wouldn't be talking to these guys if they weren't nice respectable guys.

"I'm just messing around. I know these two can take care of themselves," I tell them, shaking their hands.

"I was seriously worried for my life there for a moment," Dylan laughs nervously.

I laugh and then get serious. "You may not have to worry about me but I can't say the same about Jake see as Kenz is his little sister."

I can see Dylan swallow nervously and this makes me laugh, especially when Meanna and Jake come back over to us.

"Hey, guys! And who are these cuties," Mea says when she notices Bradley and Dylan.

"This is Dylan and Bradley," I say, introducing them and then look at Jake to see how he's reacting to this. It looks like he and Kennady are having a secret conversation through their eyes. It also looks like she's winning the battle because he sighs and then shakes their hands.

"I'm Jacob, Kenzie's older brother," he emphasizes the older brother part. Mea rolls her eyes and introduces herself.

"Hi, I'm Meanna, this one's twin sister," she says, pointing at me.

"Okay," Jenna says, clapping really loud. "Let's get to know each other."

This is going to be interesting.
