Chapter 7

Rinoa Heartilly is the princess of this resistance group, and she was a beautiful woman. She wears her hair at shoulder length. Rinoa's hair is caramel-brown colored. Her signature outfit is a long, sleeveless, blue rib-knit duster sweater with a pair of white wing designs on the back. She wears matching rib-knit arm warmers, a black tank top, a denim button-up skirt, a black ribbon on her left arm, and black cycling shorts with zippers going down the front and a pair of silver-buckled black boots. She looks like your typical teenage girl. She shuffled in bed and noticed someone was in her room. She looked up and that when she saw Squall.

"Hey, it's you from the party. So Cid finally came through."

"Yeah, it's me. The rest of my team is waiting with your crew." She was so excited that Headmaster Cid had come through for her that she immediately jumped into Squall's arms. Squall politely pulled her off of him. Rinoa's reason for being at the party was to talk to Cid. She had sent many requests in the past, but they never came through. But that change when Rinoa personally talked to Cid about what was happening, and Cid kindly took their request. And Squall and his team are here to help the group. Squall remember that night from the party. So she was there for Headmaster Cid.

"Now, don't get it wrong. You know someone named Seifer?" Squall was thinking maybe she wasn't looking for Cid, but Seifer instead. For someone reason all the girl swoon over bad boys. And Seifer was certainly apart of that group.

"Seifer was the one who introduced me to Cid." Rinoa went on about how wonderful Cid is and how she didn't think he would help out a little group like them. Cid wanted to get back to the others. Before they left out the room, she wanted to ask Squall a question.

"Did he come?"

"You mean?"

"Seifer?"

"No. Seifer didn't pass the exam. So he didn't become a SeeD." Squall looked at Rinoa's face. She seems sad when she heard the news of Seifer not becoming a SeeD. So what is the big deal? So he didn't make it. That doesn't mean that Squall and his group aren't as qualified as Seifer. But it didn't make a difference to Squall because he didn't want to be around Seifer. He never listens and always went by the beat of his drum, which is why he didn't make it as a SeeD.

After their conversation, Squall and Rinoa went and caught with the rest of the group. Squall introduces Rinoa to his team.

"This is Zell, and that is Sephie."

"Please to meet you both." The leader showed them into another, and they enter the room. And a large board had illustrations on them. The leader explains how the operation would go as plan.

"My assistant found got ahold of some top-secret info coming from Galbadian. A VIP will be traveling from there and enter our here Timber. The name of our VIP is Vinzer Deling, and he is the President of Galbadia. We don't care much for this man. He is a ruthless dictator, and his popularity rating is below the scale." Squall listen as they tear into this President. He must be one nasty guy.

"We know that he will be coming in by a private train from the Galbadian capital." Then the leader was going to break now the plan into steps when Sephie intervenes with a suggestion.

"Why not just blow the president up with a rocket launcher." Sephie was one for blowing things up, but the leader decided to skip that suggestion for another mission. The leader shows the illustrated board, and it showed what train the president would be on and how the president's train would be switched. The red train is the one the president should be riding in. They would unhook his train and wait for it to attach to the next train. And then, they would bring in the dummy car along with their base train. And then they would merge. When everything was in place, they would unhook the president's train from the rest and take off with it. Then they would get their chance to interrogate the president. Everything was ready for them to complete this mission. Squall wanted to know who made the president's train's illustration because it looks like a child had done it.

"I made that. And the only reason it looks like that is because I have a deep hatred for this president." Rinoa didn't like this president. But Squall needs even though Rinoa didn't care about the guy. The Squall and his team should be prepared for any outcome that might happen. Squall never knew when a fight might break. So he was always prepared.

The team was down to the wire. They had finally made the switch with the president's train. And now had the president in tow. It was now time for Rinoa to interrogate this evil, ruthless man finally. They enter into the president's train. Rinoa walks up to him. She tried to get his attention. But notice something was off about this president.

"President Deling, if answer our questions and don't resist. Everything will be ok?"

"Really? But what if I choose to resist? What then?" Squall was thinking they were about to have some trouble, and it wasn't the good kind. The Rinoa took a step back. This wasn't the president. It was someone pretending to be the president.

"So you guessed it. I'm not the real president. I'm what you call a body double. We had been hearing rumors about a certain group causing trouble. We decided if we were going to catch them in the act. We need to spread some false information around. And it looks like ya fell for it." Squall knew when trouble comes around the corner, and you can never escape from it. So it looks like he would have to fight to get out of this one. The team won the fight. Then the group went back to discuss with the leader what happened.

"So the president was a fake?"

"Yep. And we fell for it." Then the assistant came rushing in. He found the real reason for President Deling visit to Timber.

"It seems the president is heading to the TV station." The group was curious as to why he was heading to the TV station. The president had his own station in Galbadia, and it worked just fine. The Sephie chimed in on the conversation.

"Do you think it deals with the communication tower in Dollet?" The leader wanted to know what that was. Squall and his team knew there was a connection with the tower in Dollet to the TV station here in Timber.

"Well, that tower had been down for a while until the Galbadian soldiers got it up and running as of yesterday." It dawns on the assistant that the Timber station was the only one where broadcast can be handle over the air. Because other stations can only broadcast online. The Rinoa didn't quite understand what they meant.

"So what are you trying to get at?"

"They plan to use radio waves. This way, they can broadcast images to other regions without cable."

"Ok. I get that. But what do you think the president is going to broadcast?" That was the question in everyone's mind. What just was the president going to broadcast? And was it something they would expect? Then Rinoa thought of something that would be better.

"Wouldn't it be great if we could broadcast the declaration of Timber's Independence?" The leader thought it might be possible to do that. Now the team would have to make a plan. And since Squall's first mission was a bomb. Rinoa still could his team's assistance.
