Clocked Out 1

A week flew past and before Stellar got a break to digest and learn all the tools of the trade, and of course, how to properly use a copying machine, her time as Beau's shadow in Spencer Oil was finally over.

From eight in the morning until Beau clocked out, Stellar was never absent or late for those five days. She wasn't sure, however, how those short and quick five days felt as if she aged a year.

If she looked back into the fallen sands of time, her days felt longer, and her nights felt shorter. And she badly needed an entire day at the spa.

She realized it must be the pieces of information that Beau shoved at her, making her feel trapped in an empty road that stretched like a mile. Add to that the gruesome long hours that she had to put in every day.
