Sandra left very full, while the guards stayed with Theodore. She held on to her stomach as she walked down the stairs. She hoped that the prince believed her because she didn't think she could do what she just did again.
"You trust her?" Theodore asked, referring to Stanley.
"Yes, your majesty."
Theodore looked at Rex with a gaze that asked the same question, and he nodded without words.
He thought about what she said, and then he asked another question.
"Why do you trust her?"
Rex and Stanley were quiet for a second. Theodore was impatient for their answer.
"I trust her because there hasn't been a scandal since she was in charge, your majesty," Rex gave his reason. When Theodore left, it had reached the retirement age of the last head, and so Sandra was employed under screened recommendation. Theodore nodded, looking at Stanley who just seemed slightly tensed, or in better words affected since the whole incident.
"And you?"
