Gravity Field

Allowing Severance to return to its first form of a typical iron sword with an owl-shaped pummel. Lord Zariel sheathed his blade and took a heavy pull of the Ravane, calming his mind spinning with thought.

Ravaging his mind and soul, an image of the dismembered limbs began to weigh heavy within Lord Zariels cold heart. The Black Hand was, without a doubt, one of the most infamous cults, dealing in almost precisely in the dreadful art of assassinations. They were undoubtedly one of the Iluthaths' most secret of groups. Yet, they had taken it upon themselves or another to slaughter what Lord Zariel could only speculate was a mid-tier family. It was baffling, but it had garnered the Silver Devils' attention more so than they already had.

Taking another heavy pull of the Ravane, a haze filled his sight, and his eyes slid to the left of his socket, landing squarely over Aurelia; Standing before the towering Ghast whose eyes burned a fiery scarlet. Cold sweat trailed from her brow, down her cheeks drenching her armor.

She had seen Zariels brief battle, which lasted only a few seconds, and knew in a full-on confrontation death would be swift.

"So I am left with the fool?" Said the Ghast derisively, baring his yellow fangs with such foul breath. Aurelia felt her eyes turn misty and her stomach nauseous. "I will enjoy peeling the flesh from your warm, savory body. How I have grown bored of the same meat."It said, spitting out the child-like arm it had been gnawing on.

Aurelia was disgusted. She'd seen many things but never a monster like this. Glaring at the undead, having long notice, it held no weapon like its brethren, a deep amethyst light wrapped around the Eldritch Staff.

Noticing a flicker of blinding amethyst light growing strong, the Ghast pounced, blasting off its bare feet without the slightest indecision. Five razor-sharp jagged talons sprouted from his fingers.

Overflowing with a profound Amethyst light, a sigil that did not appear to hold an image appeared. Filled with runes, Aurelia hoisted her staff the moment the Ghast Pounced.

"Gravity Field," She howled, clapping the Eldritch Staff down; everything around the Young Fallen began to creak and bend downwards. Holding her grim eye over the Ghast whose footsteps fell short a meter from her, a victorious smile touched her lips.

(A/N: Chapter 112 showed the list of spells she is learning.)

Staggering where he stood, the Ghast legs trembled as tears of blood began to rush from its sockets. It gave a painful whimper and fell on all fours.

Knowing its body was its weakness, a heavy strain ran over Aurelia's petite body. She could not hold this spell for long. So she darted forward, not waiting for the Ghast to regain its equilibrium. Her blade charged towards his head.

Slowed by the Field of Magic, making his body feel over ten times heavier, the Ghast shot its claw towards Aurelia's blade, meeting her strike head-on. But the Fallen had already been warned never to cross head-on against such an undead. Tilting her wrist, the blade in Aurelia's palm coiled like a cruel serpent.

"You bitch!" The Ghast snarled, using his other hand to parry the blade heading for his neck.

Pivoting off her feet in a skillful maneuver that left no openings, Aurelia's face grew a tad bit more ashen, but she held firm.

Staggering back to his two feet, the hideous Ghast roared. Shaking the walls with his mighty wail, he charged once again. His speed had dropped, and his eyes, alongside many of his organs, were on the verge of rupturing. But he held firm.

"The Ghast is without Magic, My Queen. You are his bane. There is now a fifty percent chance of victory. The beast is still faster and stronger, but victory will be yours if you can last long enough for his organs to be destroyed by this Gravity Field." Said Eldritch swiftly. He could not hide his pride, having witnessed his ladies' power rising. Smitten by his queen's power, the staff that held his fragmented soul buzzed.

Standing in the back, Lord Zariel, however, was frowning. While he was glad that Aurelia was growing stronger, he had neglected to take into consideration the effect of the Eldritch Staff she held. Its power had amplified Aurelia's magic, making all her Arcane Spells far stronger than average.

Lifting his finger to interfere, he soon lowered it after a moment of deliberation, "No, this was my mistake. I didn't take her seriously."

Having dodged an invisible bullet, Aurelia held a burning smile over her cheeks. Readying her sword, the Ghast swiped his claws towards Aurelia, intending to tear her head off, but she knew better than to parry and dodged. Feeling the sting of the winds clawing at her cheeks, she narrowed her eyes as her blade shot true.

Engaging in a deadly battle, Acana trailed after Aurelia's blade as she employed the Rain Form of her battle technique. Sweat flowed endlessly as her swordsmanship began to dance. Elegant to the naked eyes, the Ghast was pushed on the defensive. As much as he wanted to ever second within Aurelia's gravity field made it harder for him to move.

Cutting away at his flesh, legions of blood had begun to stain the ground, but Aurelia's breathing had long grown deadly.

"If you keep going like this, your lifeforce will be drained to maintain this spell." Said Zariel amusingly." When that happens, it will be my victory."

Not taking his words to heart, the entire area around Aurelia was consumed in an endless fleet of Acana that had been trailing from her blade. Letting her sword continue to dance, Aurelia had refused to allow herself to release Gravity Field, not when she was so close.

Gritting her teeth, a glint of desperation swallowed her mind. Holding her blade, the sword in Aurelia's hand began to carry a savage light. Slowly the rain of Acana around her began to tremble, and the echoes of mighty thunder began to ring.

Pushing back the Ghast, who roared and clawed with all he had. Fear began to overflow as he noticed Aurelia meeting his talons head-on. At first, she would be pushed back, but with each swing, each flicker of her wrist, her sword began to howl against the winds. It began to weep till the power grew so great that her blade showed cracks over the base of her sword.

"Slow down, my Queen!" pleaded her loyal follower, Eldritch. "Your sword can not take your power anymore!"

Cleaving her blade down as though it were a saber, the dings of metal and cries of thunder shook the upper floor. Lost in the will of her sword, Aurelia cried, "NECROTIC BLADE!"

It had all happened so quick, but at that moment, the chill of the Hells once more touched over Zariels flesh. He could once more hear his cries, feel the devils touch against his flesh, and taste the brimstone.

Cutting through the Talons of the Ghast, Aurelia uttered a single incantation, "RAIN!'

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
