After Stephen brought the plants those two losers started collecting the samples in their tent, I didn't feel like joining them so I went to my tent and applied a face mask, and relaxed. After all, I have a big task ahead tonight, I have given money to a guy to kidnap me and Chris tonight and leave us in an abandoned cabin in the woods.

Chris has been ignoring me and getting annoyed with me since I came here. When I am approaching him he has been avoiding me but he won't feel the same if we both fall in a trouble together, he will feel sympathetic towards me and try to protect me, in the process I will make him fall in love with me.

I should not waste this chance at any cost I thought and saw Chris sitting before the campfire reading something, I went to him and sat beside him. He gave me a side glance and resumed reading."What are you reading so seriously Mr.Stone??" I asked him leaning towards him almost touching him. He immediately moved away and said"you are supposed to work now Caroline, go and help your teammates"

Huhh..you are avoiding me now but I will make sure that you will be mine tonight, it's just a matter of time I thought and went to those two losers, luckily they both have almost done the work so I just took a few leaves and started playing, today all my mind was on my plan to be with Chris.

Later we sat near the campfire and started eating, the food was good. At least Erika was good at something I thought, I observed Chris taking a few glances at Erika when she was serving the food for all of us. Tonight I will make sure that he will only see me in the future, not any other girl I thought.

When Erika was talking about her father I couldn't tolerate her weak mentality, I mean if she misses her father why didn't she stay at home with him, what is the use of getting emotional here. It's not like she is some school kid and we will console her right!!

"How old are you dear?? do you want your father to come here and read you bedtime stories?? you should not have signed up for this project if you are so weak-minded," I said trying to bring her back to reality. Daniel as usual spoke some nonsense on behalf of Erika, sometimes I don't understand he is here to assist Chris or Erika.

"I agree with Caroline on this, people with weak minds get distracted easily, so it's better if they do not waste my time signing up for my projects "Mr. Stone said staring seriously at Erika and Daniel.

The moment those words came out of Chris's mouth I felt so happy that I would have thrown a party just for that, Erika's face got red when Chris said the truth. Stephen said that he was tired and left, actually, I was also waiting for that so that I can implement my plan soon.

We all went back to our tents, I have packed everything needed in my bag because I told them to bring our bags too when they take us to the cabin. I told them to kidnap Chris and a girl in his tent so I will make some excuse to stay in his tent I thought and started walking towards his tent.

When I went inside I didn't see Chris, his bag was gone too. What the hell...where is he?? I ran outside his tent and checked everywhere but he was not anywhere. daniel came running towards me and asked "Caroline did you see Erika ?? I can't find her anywhere".

Erika is gone too?? oh god what did I do??

Erika (p.o.v)

I felt like something crawling on my neck, I slowly opened my eyes and saw darkness all around, it was pitch black I couldn't see anything. All my body was numb and I felt like my hands and legs were tied. I tried to move but couldn't.

Then I remembered what happened earlier and realized that I got kidnapped. wait..Mr.Stone was also drugged so ...he was also kidnapped?? "Mr.Stone...are you there?? hello..." I whispered because if the kidnappers realize that I am conscious they might do something before I have a chance to escape.

"Yeah...I am here and you don't have to whisper. There's no one here except you and me,ohh...and a few cockroaches too" he said scaring the hell out of me when he said that there were cockroaches here, it was pitch dark and I couldn't see my surroundings.

I screamed loudly with fear, "Hey ...hey... calm down, why are you screaming like that, you were not afraid of kidnappers but cockroaches??" he asked and moved closer to me, I leaned closer to him and closed my eyes." I..I am scared of cockroaches, please..please get me out of here..please" I said, for some reason, his scent gave me a sense of comfort at that scary moment.

"Hey...don't be afraid. I am right here ..nothing will happen to you ok!! you first calm down and let me figure out, I need something sharp to cut these ropes" he said and searched blindly here and there.

"yeah..I think I found something, just a second ...grhhh come on..come on..yes "I couldn't see what he was doing but I understood that he found something to cut the ropes, then I felt his hands on my waist, and then on my shoulders, I felt nervous when he was touching me like that and tried to move away from him.

"Hey..don't move, I am trying to help you. Just...just stay still" he said and freed my hands and legs, I immediately got up and looked around but it was pitch black. Mr.Stone lighted his lighter and we both looked around, it looked like some old wooden cabin, there is a small bed, a few candles, and some junk.

I didn't understand anything. why would someone kidnap us in this forest, what would they get ?? when I saw Mr.Stone, he too looked like he was thinking the same thing." i..I don't understand anything, do you have any enemies here??" I asked looking around with fear.

"Ohhh...I have enemies everywhere ... the problem is I don't know which one is taking revenge now" he said looking around like it was nothing and lighting the candles. After he lit the candles, the cabin looked somewhat normal. There's a hole in the roof of the cabin, so it was really cold inside.

"You know the ways in this forest very well right!! since there is no one here to stop us, let's go back to the camp, "I told him at which he shook his head in a no "There are so many wild animals in this forest also and it looks like they have taken my gun, we will die if we go out there in this night" he said and took a piece of wood from the window.

I saw our bags in a corner, "Mr. Stone..our bags are here...oh thank god at least they are kind enough to leave our bags here" I said and took my bag and opened it. All my things are there, I smiled happily and took Mr.Stone's bag too and handed it to him.

"Check if everything is there or not, I am sure your things are more valuable," I said checking my bag, my blanket was there ...oh thank heavens I was dying with the cold I thought and took it out of my bag. But what about Mr.stone I left his blanket in his tent when I was making his bed I thought and looked at him.

He left his bag on the side and started sharpening the edge of the wood piece with the blade he found earlier while smoking, I must say he looked damn handsome while doing that, but I immediately looked away not wanting to stare at him for long." umm...so what do we do now??" I asked him not knowing what I should do next.

"Wait till morning and then we will leave here" he said not looking at me and blowing the smoke from his cigar and sharpening the wood piece, it looked like he is making us some weapon to defend ourselves from the wild animals. This guy is really something I thought and sat near the wall beside him and covered myself with the blanket.

"What if the kidnappers come back and find us?? what if they kill us??" I asked him nervously, he chuckled and shook his head but didn't say anything" Mr.Stone..you didn't answer my question, What if.." he didn't let me finish my sentence by putting his finger on my lips.

"Nothing will happen to you ok!! I won't let anyone hurt you" he said looking into my eyes sincerely, my heart started beating so fast at that moment, what is this feeling ?? it was like my heart would come out of my chest at any moment. He slowly removed his finger from my lips and sat beside me.

I felt nervous and sat straight to avoid physical contact, even though I have been working for him and staying with him for more than a week I still feel nervous around him." why are you scared of me so much ?? am I that bad??" he asked all of a sudden. I didn't understand how to answer that question so I shook my head in a no and scooted away adjusting the blanket on my shoulders.

"i...I am not afraid, I am just a little nervous around people other than my family" I told him, which was also the truth. He chuckled and said"you didn't seem nervous around Daniel, I don't think he is your family".why is he trying to put me in a difficult situation??

"He ..he is like my family so..i...i am not nervous around him" i told him moving a little more away from him, he looked like he is angry for a moment and smiled seeing something beside me. I didn't understand why so I too saw what was beside me, a big cockroach. That's it...all my nervousness has gone and I screamed louder and held Mr.Stone with fear.

"Well I am not your family member, is it ok for you to hold me??" he teased me but I was not in a state to say anything so I just held him tightly and nodded my head. After a few seconds I thought it might have gone so I asked him"Mr.Stone...is..is it gone?" he didn't say anything for a few seconds and held me.

I slowly opened one eye and saw that it was gone so I immediately moved away from him."I..I am sorry sir, I am really afraid of cockroaches since I was a kid. You know ...my dad always keeps a bug repellant in my room, he never lets me inside the store room because he was afraid that i might see a cockroach there and cry" I told him smiling remembering my dad hunting for cockroaches all over the house if i see one in my room.

He just stared at me without saying anything while I was talking like a parrot. I got scared that he might get angry with me for being weak-minded again so I just stopped talking and lowered my head staring at the ground. He scooted closer to me making me more nervous and held my chin with his thumb and forefinger raising my head, he looked into my eyes and leaned closer, I fisted the blanket edge nervously and closed my eyes.

Suddenly we heard the sound of something falling from the roof, so he immediately left me moving away. Then we both saw that the roof was falling and it was getting colder inside the cabin, I felt bad for Mr.Stone because he doesn't have any blankets to cover himself.

so I have gathered a little courage and did something which I never would have done under normal circumstances, I have moved closer to him and covered him with the other half of the blanket." It's getting really cold in here, I am afraid you might catch a cold if you are uncovered"I told nervously.

After a few minutes, my eyes lids started dropping, for some strange reason his scent always makes me feel calm so I just fell asleep like that, then I felt two strong arms holding me closely not letting me feel cold anymore, I just held on to that warm big pillow and slept happily.

Un Known person( p.ov)

"We gotta drink to our heart's content today, today some rich girl paid us handsomely to kidnap two people and throw them in that old cabin," my underling told me happily drinking his beer. I got curious about who is that rich on this small island to pay such a large amount for such a small thing.

"Who's that john?? we never got this much for a murder also, who's that stinking rich bitch to throw away so much money for such a small thing," I asked at which he smiled and said"I don't know boss, our Dylan brought me the deal, I must say that the girl we brought with that guy was a real good thing", I got more curious now to see that girl.

Meanwhile, Dylan came inside my cabin, and he looked completely drunk."Hey there boss...see what I got ya today" he said showing me a scotch bottle. These assholes found a real treasure i guess, "Thanks my boy, would you take me to them, I am really curious to see that girl you brought " I asked him winking at which he nodded with a crooked smile.

We reached the old cabin and slowly walked around, I silently peeked into the cabin through a creak, I saw the cabin was lit with candles and then I saw someone who I have been waiting to catch alone from the day he spoiled my drug business and turned me into a poor thug.

That goddamn Science freak sleeping happily hugging some pretty chick, John was right about that chick though, she looks really pretty, I will kill this mad scientist today and have fun with that pretty chick tonight I thought taking a sip of brandy.

Dylan looked confused and angry when he saw the couple inside, he immediately grabbed john's throat almost choking him"what the hell did you do?? this was not the girl you were supposed to kidnap you idiot" he asked angrily.

"you told me to kidnap the couple in the red tent, that's what I did, I found both of them in the red tent and kidnapped them" john said getting out of Dylan's grip.

"Both of you... just shut up...it doesn't matter anymore. I found the one I have been looking for so long, finally, I caught him alone. This guy destroyed our drug business on this island and turned us into beggars so today we will take our revenge, what do you say" I asked both of them and they smiled in return.

"But boss.. that guy looks really strong, what if he grinds us into powder??" Dylan asked to which I smiled and showed him my fully loaded gun." he is strong but he has been drugged and unarmed, we can easily outnumber him, don't worry. Now let's go and have some fun " I told them and we slowly walked around and slowly opened the door.

The moment I opened the door I was met with a strong punch, I felt like I saw stars. by the time I recovered from the punch, I saw the science guy towering over us in his tall form and looking fiercely like a lion with a sharpened wood stake.
