In Which They Have To Cope

[ALANOR]

As the lycan king suffocated in silence in the bunker Alanor had forced him into, the Wynter nine were slowly waking up to a new day, one that didn't need them on the battlefield.

It was supposed to be a good day, a long and happy day, but they knew that was a lot of wishful thinking on their end. They had been here for barely a day and they were feeling like they needed to have done more.

The battle in Udrad was no battle compared to most that they had fought. Sure, they were fighters in their own way, but right now they were relaxed, they were faced with something that they didn't even know how to deal with.

"There was a time I wished for mornings like these. Calm mornings gave me peace, but now that we have one of them, I am scared of quiet mornings. They make me paranoid and more than anything, make me question myself even more," Usman suddenly said as they sat up.
