Chapter 10: Horus the God of Light

We could hear the military trucks pulling onto the grounds of the farm. A helicopter soared above us, the sounds of the blades cutting through the air filled our ears. I looked out the window as I watched trucks pull in from the wooded roads within the forest. Armed men poured from the trucks and raised their weapons at our home.

Agent Carter, stepped out of a large armored vehicle, his arm in a sling, injured from the smack that sent him flying. He raised his microphone and shouted through it to us.

"Alright, enough is enough. You two have until the count of ten to come out here with your hands raised and surrender yourselves to us. If you do not, then so help me god, I WILL LIGHT THIS MOTHER FUCKER UP WITH EVERY BULLET WE HAVE!"

He screamed at us while trying to brush his long hair from his face, he looked incredibly stressed out. Funny considering we were the ones at a disadvantage.

We had a plan, for years we had been anticipating something finding us eventually, we knew our peaceful little lives on the farm in the mountains would not last forever. We had a security system in place. Several machine guns that had an automatic firing mode, stood on stands in front of the windows of the house, as agent carter began to speak. We positioned each one in the direction of the trespassers on our land. Agent Carter had almost finished counting by the time we were ready.

"Three, two, o-"

He shouted

Before he could finish, we set off the guns, they sprayed upon our victims in the field. We bolted out the back door, as the guns created a perfect distraction. We took off straight to the barn, we dug a large tunnel in there, long ago, to escape deep into the forest if we ever needed to. Horus grabbed the bag from the freezer with all the embryos and vials for cloning. We ran as fast as we could, the helicopter caught us running. All the men in the trucks took cover, waiting out the gunfire coming at them from the house. The helicopter started to shoot at us from the sky, as we ran to the barn. We were so close to the barn, each bullet hit the ground inches behind me. Horus slid into the barn, I leaped in, narrowly missing the gunfire from the helicopter above. The chopper continued to shoot at us, blindly, bullets sprayed through the barn. Horus began to get angry; he ran to our large circular saw table- Which we used for cutting giant tree logs. He ripped the blade straight out and ran outside. He tossed the blade like a frisbee right at the helicopter. It was a direct hit, the chopper started spinning out of control and eventually crashed right on a truck setting off a massive explosion. Horus was blinded in rage and charged right into another truck, bashing it in from the front end then flipping it onto the soldiers cowering in fear. He tore the hood of another truck off nearby, he carried it as a shield guarding against the gunfire, as he made his way back to me in the barn. All the soldiers had begun to fire on him, I grabbed my AR and fired back, I managed to kill several of them as Horus hurried back to me. As soon as he got back in the barn, we opened the latch to the tunnel and took off.

We could still hear the gunshots from the grounds above us, the vibrations of the trucks driving to the barn rattled the ceilings of the tunnels. We had several guns and bags of ammo prepared for us down there. We also had a small ration of food to survive a few days. We came out of the tunnel into a spot in the woods far away from the farm. We ran as fast as we could, a few miles east of the farm I had a large box truck I could hold Horus in. It was crazy he began growing so quickly after these events. We got to the truck and Horus squeezed in and laid down on the floor. I drove off down the road. I had a small cabin deeper in the mountains, it had a large cave I could raise the Nephilim in and train them to be warriors. I thought we would be safe if we made it there. Helicopters circled the area above us, military trucks were blazing past us, followed by police. Everything looked fine, no one was stopping us.

We hit a roadblock finally. I knew we weren't getting out of this that easily, I had to get Horus out of here. He was our only hope, he needed to take these embryos far away and train them all, I was going to lay my life down so he could survive. I would come in the next life and find them all. As we got up to the line for the roadblock, I talked to horus through the sliding glass window in the truck. I told Horus.

"We are not gonna be able to make it past this point son, we have to fight."

Horus looked up at me through my rearview mirror I could see him staring back at me. His face long and sad,

"I know mother, I will protect you with every ounce of my life."

He said.

Tears filled my eyes as I shouted

"NO HORUS!, it is I who will protect you, do you understand, thats my job as a mother who loves their child. You are far too important in this generation to lay your life down for anyone. This world has lost its way, it's been at war for so long, a war no one truly remembers, these lifeforms need you Horus, those life forms you carry in that bag, your siblings, they need you, and right now, I need you to live. I need you to live for as long as you can, do you understand me. I'm going to die here son, I ca-"

Horus interrupted me

"You will not mother, I will no-"

I interrupted him back sternly, filled with emotion

"Horus! This is not up for debate. You must live, only you can bring the light back to your siblings in that bag, you have been blessed with a great gift, I can feel it. The divine beings favor you, you have no fear of death. You have a great destiny to fulfill in this life, and they are all within you, they need you to spread their light...Listen, ... when we get up here, they are going to pull me from this vehicle. I will fight them off, you run son, you run straight to the caves as soon as I tell you to. Do not look back."

I stopped talking for a moment as we were the next in line to be stopped, I began to cry as I said my last words to him

"I need you to survive darling, for as long as you can, until I can find you again. You survive, and you protect those babies in that bag, do you understand. I need you to trust me, about everything I have ever told you, I need you to believe it Horus. Please, it may take twenty years for me to find you again, I'm not sure, I'm so sorry sweetie. I know this a lot to ask, but I know you can do this. You have to."

The eerie sound of the brakes squealing cut our conversation off as I pulled up to the officer.

It was pouring down rain now, storm clouds appeared out of nowhere, a lightning bolt struck close in front of us and thunder clapped across the sky as I opened my window to talk to the officer.

He asked.

"License and reg-…hold on,"

He got on his radio and walked away mumbling, we had been recognized already. I undid my seat belt as the cops raised their weapons to the truck. Helicopters started coming in all directions, shining their spotlights on our vehicle, they shouted,

"GET OUT OF THE VEHICLE, NOW!"

"KEEP YOUR HANDS ABOVE YOUR HEAD!"

I opened my door and got out placing my arms above my head, Horus whispered through the window nervously,

"No mother, do not go out there,"

"It's ok son, the moment I have their attention you run!"

I said as I walked out the door.

I could hear Horus repeating no, over and over again.

I stepped out of the truck, blinded by the spotlights being shed upon me, so many noises built up anxiety in me. They told me to lay on the ground.

I really didn't have a plan.

I had no idea what the hell I was going to do to get out of this. I figured I would just kind of wing it, see what happens.

Stupid, I know, but I didn't know what else to do.

Regardless, I had to get their attention somehow so Horus could escape deep into the woods. He was fast enough to outrun them, It was night now and the storm started to get worse. The lightning got closer and the helicopters started retreating from the storm, the spotlight came off me and things got dark again, with the only light being the flashing of the police lights, I took this chance, the police officer got closer to me, when he went down to tie my hands, I quickly shot up and grabbed him, his friends started to blindly fire, as I used his body as a shield and ran to the closest tree. They shot him several times. I grabbed his gun and tossed his body away, I hid behind a tree, gunfire was everywhere as they shot at me. Desperately, I screamed,

"Now, Horus!"

Horus burst through the box of the truck, tearing it into two pieces as he ripped through its roof. He tossed both pieces at the cop cars firing at me. The gunfire stopped, as he screamed

"let's go mother, now!"

I knew he would not leave if I didn't at least try. I had to die in this life, he couldn't understand this. I had to die and become someone important in this world to save Horus and the rest. I ran from behind the trees as Horus waved at me to come to him. Horus started to run for the woods now too, he had made it through; past the trees, as he looked behind him, smiling to me, thinking we both were going to make it.

I knew I wouldn't.

It was just a shame he had to see it end this way.

Lasers pointers from the police officers' assault rifles seared through the dark and landed all over my body. Horus's smile quickly turned into fright. They fired, the bullets ripped through me like sharp pieces of glass, I raised my weapon and fired back, I wasn't going down without a fight. Several bullets ripped out through my chest.

Horus screamed as he watched in horror. Before I fell, I killed three more, giving Horus plenty of time to run; I knew he could handle the rest if they chased after him. As I fell to my knees, my ears began to ring, everything seemed so slow, Horus was walking slowly to me, I shook my head no, as blood poured from my wounds, covering my fingers as I tried to apply pressure, he stopped. Tears dripped from his cheeks, he wiped them away, turned away, and ran. I watched him until the darkness of night took him away. He never looked back.

"Good boy," I thought. I rolled over and looked to the stars one final time in this body's eyes. I thought of serenity. Oh how I missed her, anticipation was the last thing I felt before traveling off into the void of the afterlife once again. The anticipation of when I would find my love again. I had to set that to the side, I had to focus on returning quickly, Horus needed me. I chose my next life very carefully.

I had a stronger connection in the afterlife now. I was able to choose my next parents carefully, I picked two American diplomats, the only way I could save Horus is if I took a position of power within my country. I had to cast out the reptilian manipulators, the instigators, the rulers of death and damnation. I would have to get close to the most powerful man in the country to achieve this.

This life was filled with childhood neglect, my childhood was spent in boarding schools and military academies. My mother was a senator and worked an awful lot. My father was attorney general for the country. They both worked long hours and never really had much time for me. I did not mind this in this life. I focused on my goal and waited out my time. I never got the suspicion my parents knew what was happening within the government. I certainly never saw any giant lizards at family gatherings either.

I thought a lot about Horus, I wondered if he was okay, I had faith in him every day. Still, the life he was being forced to live for so long would not be easy. He was alone in the mountains for years. I hoped he was doing well, I could sense the beings of light within him his whole life. His soul was something ancient, maybe even older than my own. I had faith they would keep him safe. I studied hard and got good grades through school. I was top of my class in everything. Valedictorian every year. When I was older, I finished my studies in a military academy and did extremely well. I graduated and joined the military. I worked as an officer in intelligence and spent every waking moment I had trying to figure out how the reptilians-controlled things. Also, I looked for signs of Horus intensely. Military intelligence had no leads whatsoever. Horus was a ghost. The technology on earth had finally rapidly started to evolve, within a few hundred years the planet would begin to look nothing like it did before. By the time I was nineteen I was hearing reports of a giant spotted in the mountains, I quickly buried this information as fast as I could. Another intelligence specialist confronted me on this rumor of giants in the mountains. Horus made it to the cabin, I knew where he was now. The eyes of this new specialist caught my attention immediately, I didn't even need to see the insignia she wore as a bracelet around her wrist, by now I could feel her when she was this close. She must have been new, I hadn't seen her here before.

Serenity looked me right in the eyes, and smiled, her big beautiful blue-green eyes melted me from inside.

I wanted to grab ahold of her right there but had to stay professional. I think she felt it too. I took a sip of my coffee mug that my insignia was imprinted on, revealing it to her just in case. We were speechless for a moment. We just smiled as started into each other a eyes. Explosions of emotions filled me, the insatiable love I had for her tingled through every nerve of me.

She asked me finally

" Hey, you wanna refill your coffee in the break room with me?"

"Sure, I would love a coffee refill," I responded

I walked in behind her and closed the door.

"Serenity," I asked.

Her back still to me as she fixed her coffee, she replied,

"the sugars empty love, do you happen to have any packets; you know I can't have my coffee without my sugar."

My heartbeat rapidly, she turned around to me as she finished talking, still smiling.

I started to choke up as we both walked slowly to each other, so happy to see each other again. Our happiness was cut short as other officers walked into the break room. Serenity walked back to her coffee,

"the sugars there in the top cabinet, on the second shelf," I told her

"Thanks," she said with a wink and a smile flashing her beautiful white teeth. Her irresistible smile, shined with tranquility. She got more and more beautiful every time I saw her.

An awkward silence filled the room, as serenity finished up making her coffee. I had so much to say; so much to tell her, but the other officers had sat at a table to eat their lunch and were not going anywhere. I asked if she would like to grab a bite to eat after work, she whispered to me,

"Your place, or mine?"

We both laughed a little knowing deep down inside we desired each other so much.

After laughing at her joke and taking another sip of her coffee she said,

"There's a dinner down the road, let's meet there after work."

I smiled at her and I just walked out of the room and returned to my desk.

Serenity finished her coffee and went back to work. I finished my work quicker than I had ever before. I walked out of the office with serenity. She had just finished up working as I began to get my briefcase together. We walked and talked, and laughed and danced all the way to the diner. The short walk felt like lifetimes as memories poured into us, of each other. We walked into the local diner and sat down at a table together, struggling not to jump into each other's arms. We continued to talk sitting across from each other, holding each other's hands across the table.

She immediately told me, she grew up in a town that told tales of the giants in the mountains. And how they reminded her of the great Nephilim from Atlantis. She heard of the rumors again in the office and was told I also was someone who covered the file. She never expected the person to be me. Her bracelet shined from the light above at me. Seeing it brought me great joy. I told her all about my life before and how I was brought to the Nephilim. I told her of the death of my father David who was also the soul of Osiris, who had become lost until the met his end. I told her of his wife, my mother in that life, and how he was stricken with grief from her loss. I told her about the adventures they had and the artifacts they recovered. I told her of the chest my father, David, kept in the shed that was the ancient cloning secrets, created by the Anunnaki. I told her all about Horus and my death before. We had to find him. He was all alone, probably barely surviving up there, if he was still even alive. Serenity grabbed my hands tighter and agreed to help me find him.

We gathered all the information we could about the rumors of the giant in the mountains. We both took a nice vacation from the office and headed out to find him. I knew he had to still be in the hills, where I tried to take him before. The trip was calm, we both were at peace. Everything was looking up as we boarded our greyhound headed for Tennessee. I was coming for my boy. The bus ride was quick, I soaked in the warmth of her as she slept on the bus. Her head rested on my chest, her arms wrapped around my stomach. I held her close to me, with one arm draped around her shoulders. We never knew how much time we had together, so every moment we had together, we cherished. I may not find her again after this life for many lifetimes. We never knew.

The bus arrived in Tennessee, we took a cab out to the mountains from the bus depot, we began our hike. It took us several long days to travel up the mountain. They were all wonderful days. As I spent every night with her, we made passionate love under the light of the stars.

Finally, after a few long days, the cabin was in sight. I knew I had to proceed with caution. Horus did not know what I looked like anymore. All he knew, was I had died and made some idiotic promise to return to him somehow.

As we made our way closer to the cabin, we were attacked. Arrows came flying straight for us, serenity and I dodged them narrowly and ran as fast as we could, as the arrows flew through the woods straight for us. The trees in front of us began to shake, as two huge Nephilim came charging at us from them, looking scarcely similar to Osiris. Neither of them was Horus, one tried to attack serenity first as she quickly climbed a tree and leaped off the branch right onto the Nephilims shoulders, she began punching its giant face, it grabbed her and threw her off him. I dodged the attacks from the other one over and over until I shouted.

"HORUS!, HORUS!, ITS MOTHER!, TELL THEM TO STOP ATTACKING!"

The Nephilim clones looked at each other both in confusion, and then a roar echoed through the forest,

"THAT'S ENOUGH"

It said,

I ran over to serenity and helped her up. She was very annoyed, she could have killed the clone if she really wanted to. The ground shook beneath me, the birds began to flee from the trees, a true giant was coming to us. The biggest one I had ever seen, I could feel it, the strength in this one, it was Horus. He was followed by a smaller Nephilim as they ran to us. Horus got closer to us, he squatted down and looked at serenity and said,

"Mother is that you, have you finally returned to me."

The bass in his voice could be felt as he spoke.

Serenity slowly looked to me while shaking her head at Horus,

I looked at Horus and said,

"I have son, I know I look a little different than before, but I swear to you, I am the same soul that has held you since you were a child. The same love as the mother that gave her life for your escape, it is me"

Horus brought his face closer to mine and peered into my eyes, his eyes green eyes flashed memories within me of him as a young boy, they pierced through me as if Horus examined my soul within,

A tear welled up in Horus's eye as he stared at me, he then closed his eyes and smiled, he laughed and shouted

"A little, hahaha, you look more than a little different mother,"

He picked me up with his large arms in a wild hug and said

"oh, mother it is you."

He hugged me so tight I could barely breathe, he rejoiced as he jumped around, still hugging me in his arms showing me to his brothers.

"Look brothers, it's our mother, I told you she would come back for us someday."

The rest of the Nephilim were still so young, they all looked around in confusion.

"How is this man our mother, Horus?" one of them asked.

"You fool, do not question the will of the divine light. It is the soul that matters, not the chromosome of the organic tissue in which it resides. Trust me when I tell you, this is the soul of our great mother who delivered us all from a terrible fate many years ago."

They all immediately accepted what Horus told them, he was the big brother they all trusted. Horus was now in his forties. The year was 2041, for a Nephilim forty was still incredibly young as they would live hundreds of years as they Anunnaki once did.

Horus brought us back to the cabin, he told me of his great fight to get here, he almost didn't make it. He hid away in the caves for many weeks until he felt he was safe. He hunted for his meals and lived off the lands around him. He turned the cave into a livable space for giants. After a few years he became so lonely, he decided to bring two clones to life. He trained them well and told them all about their mother who would return to them one day. A few years after that, Horus made another clone. He had three friends now and treated them well, they were spotted one day while horus was teaching the young ones how to hunt in the woods, and that's when the rumors of them circulated many years later, before making their way back to me. I knew it would not be safe here for them very long. I was so proud of Horus and everything he had accomplished. These Nephilim were nothing like the ones in Atlantis. Serenity stayed on guard most of the day, she still had much emotion lingering within her of the horror the Nephilim caused in Atlantis. Horus and the others prepared a great meal for us. We all huddled around the fire as we ate and I told them all the plan I had.

I had to go back in the morning to civilization, I told Horus and the others I would work for a position of power within the government, I would need some time to do this. I would find the ones who desperately wanted to find my children and destroy them. I would then find Horus and his siblings a new home. Then we could properly bring them all to life, every vial of the clones of Osiris. I warned them though, a great war would happen several hundred years from now. They would all be incredibly old by then, yet still immensely powerful. I would make sure they would live a great life for hundreds of years in peace.

One day, the time would come where I would need them. I told them of my life, in the previous great war and the horrors they would witness. I promised them with the advance of technology, we would equip them with great armored suits that would make them godlike in the war. I said I would fight with them all, side by side, and together we would save this planet from destruction. I asked them if they would do this for me knowing the end of their lives would possibly end in the great war.

Horus stood up,

"I will follow you wherever you go, into whatever battle you need fighting. I am with you, I will always be with you, and now that I truly know there's no true fear in death, I will bear the pain of that death and follow you into the next life, mother, father, whichever you may be. It will never matter."

The rest was moved by horus's speech. They all stood up and pledged their lives to the war.

We drank and laughed all night, we all spoke and got to know one another very well. It was a happy night.

I told serenity after this life we would need to part for many lifetimes. I asked her to soar through the entire galaxy and round every species known to her, rally them together in revolt to the reptilians, to await my call for war. The reptilians were a danger to the entire galaxy, if they completely harvested the earth they would be unstoppable. Osiris was out there, somewhere, I just knew it, he was doing something amazing and we would see him again.

The next morning, serenity and I said our goodbyes to Horus and his brothers. I knew they would be safe for a bit longer. We headed back home, serenity and I would make much of this life we had together. Our bus ride home was quiet again, we just held each other the whole way and appreciated the presence of one another. We both felt the pain, we could tell after this life, it would be quite some time before we met again.

This would be the final stretch before the great war. I would raise an army of Nephilim clones, bred for peace, willing to lay their life down to save the world. I spent many years with serenity. We visited Horus and the boys often. We all became remarkably close, the strangest family I had ever been in. It was beautiful though, for many years we were happy. We constructed a great big home for them to live in the woods, they built it all themselves. After many years I had finally worked my way into a cabinet position within the newly elected president's administration. He seemed like a great man, but I trusted no one. I immediately felt their presence once I had met the rest of the administration. Two reptilians were posing as humans. Working under the President. A general within the military, and the head of the department of defense, radiated dark energy anytime I came near them. I knew it immediately. They were controlling everything like puppet masters. For years, serenity had started creating super suits for the military. Suits for war, they were disguised as suits to turn our soldiers into indestructible killing machines, prototypes for space war, capable of destroying an entire battleship in the sea. It was a top-secret project and after twenty years, she had finally completed the prototype. It was a momentous success. We devised a plan and took the blueprints for the suit to Horus. She taught Horus and his brothers how to make these suits for themselves and we provided all the materials they would need. Once the suits were completed, we had Horus run through the woods and made sure he was seen by several witnesses. We wanted the military to come for them, most of all we wanted the general to come. He would die by their hands for trying to hunt them.

We were all called for a briefing once the reports hit the news with images of these giants in the woods, society claimed them to be fake. The government was concerned. The general urged the President to allow him to send troops in so they could destroy these threats. The head of defense agreed with him, this angered the president to my surprise. He shouted back

"You expect me to just gun down these creatures because they scare you, no, we will try and speak with them first. We don't know if they truly pose a danger."

The two reptilians disagreed with him and became irritated that the President would not listen. They even threatened to remove him from office for not having the courage to defend our nation. This angered him more, he stood up from his chair and slammed his hands down on the table shouting.

"How dare you question my authority, who do you think you are. I have decided to go about this peacefully first before resorting to violence, and thats exactly what will happen. That's enough gentleman. You are dismissed"

Everyone got up and began to leave the room, the president sat back in his chair. I was gathering my folders and files to leave as I watched him doodle a drawing on his paper, it was the insignia serenity and I wore. There was only one other person that would know of that design. I approached him and said,

"Mr. President, sir, may I have a moment of your time."

He looked up at me staring silently for a moment and responded with a sudden smile.

"yes sir, what can I do for you."

"I just wanted to ask a question, forgive me if it's too personal to answer, but that symbol you drew on your paper there. Where have you seen it before? "

I asked

He smiled and said.

"It's a family crest. Tell me, do you know of Musarra?"

I smiled, I knew it could only be him, I felt the surge of his energy, the sense of his strength filled me immediately. My eyes began to well.

"Everyone out now" he ordered as he got up and walked closer to me. All of his guards left and we were alone.

"Osiris is it you," I asked.

"It's me young one" as he placed his hands on my shoulders and pulled me in for a big hug.

We laughed in disbelief, the new president was Osiris, he had already worked his way into the government. He had been doing this for years. He said he remembered everything after he left me last in death, he had gotten lost in that life and refused to remember anymore when he was reborn. We spoke of the Nephilim clones of him, he was eager to meet them. He wanted to help them but feared the two reptilians would get to them first. Osiris already knew what they were, he kept them close for a reason. There was a war brewing within the government itself. Osiris had already started to get rid of many of the reptilians trying to control the country.

We only needed to get rid of these last two. We devised a plan to allow the general to personally capture or kill the Nephilim and Osiris would take care of the secretary.

The general rejoiced and thanked the president upon hearing the news he changed his mind. He gathered a team together and headed to the woods.

Horus and his brothers were waiting. Equipped with serenity's battle suits. The general and his men stood no chance.

The general and his team sneaked through the woods in the middle of the night, they came upon the home which Horus lived in. Everything was dark, the general and his men were all huddled up behind a bush. The general watched the home and the men awaited the general's orders. All they heard next was a yelp, which quickly became faint, as Horus descended upon the general, flying in his new suit. He snatched the general up in the air. Horus's brothers landed on the other men and knocked out the rest of the team with ease as their bullets ricocheted off their suits.

Horus brought the general high in the air and dropped him, his form changed in out and out as it panicked through its descent to death.

Back in the capitol, the president devised a plan to kill the secretary. He used a secret missile system from a silo in space and blew him up in his home. The president then broke the news to the nation of the extraterrestrials who have invaded and plan to try and destroy us. He blamed the death of the secretary on the aliens. He called them reptilians and let their presence be known to the public.

Strarseeds had been working through mankind for years. Raising their conscious awareness. None of humanity was surprised to learn of this. He vowed revenge on the reptilians for what they had done and the world was sent into a rapid evolution of technology.

A reptilian ship would come back soon looking for its representatives. They would wage war when they didn't find them. Osiris gave the Nephilim a home and created a secret military branch for them. They would be protected and allowed to live in peace. All of them swore allegiance to Osiris, they felt who he was, and all knew. Even Horus who constantly called Osiris, father, just to agitate him, pledged his life for the war. We had set the way here for the earth, when the day came for war I would be ready, we would all be ready.

Osiris died of old age as one of the greatest presidents who ever lived. Serenity and I lived among the Nephilim for the rest of our lives and had many children who all loved the Nephilim as brothers. She died in her old age; we lived another incredibly happy long life together. I was so grateful for it, I held her hand in her last moments as she said to me.

"I'm off again my love, to journey through the stars, I will raise the greatest army anyone has ever seen for you, and the day you call for us, we will be there."

"I love you," I told her as I kissed her one last time

"Forever," she asked me as her eyes began to close

"Forever and beyond my love, ill always find you again," I whispered in her ear, as she began to fade, she smiled one last time and exhaled her last breath.

I had lost her so many times before, still, watching her die and leave me again was never easy.

I kissed her hands as the tears poured from my face. A few days later, I became ill and I passed as well. I told Horus to create another clone. I would take its body in my next life and join him in the lifetime destined for a final great war. He did just that. I passed away content with this life.

In my wait for the clone to organically form, the divine- which I know found myself calling the beings of light, called me to the field once more.

"Musarra, you have done so well, the earth is prepared, and Osiris and serenity are off to gather the rest of the forces we will need to defeat death in the great war. When the day comes, we will imbue you with all our strength, you will cry out into the void of space and every Starseed will hear your call to arms. They will all come to fight alongside you."

I asked them

"How do you plan to defeat death at the end of all of this?"

Everything around me started to fade before they could answer, our short time was up, and I was being reborn. I recognized Horus's face instantly. We would train the Nephilim to be the greatest defense the human civilization had ever known. The war was brewing. I would now live hundreds of years with a place in the government and protect the Nephilim. I would advance the earth into the new age and protect the world for as long as I could. I knew the day would come to fight one final time. Osiris and serenity were out there working hard every day to complete their missions, I would make them proud when they returned.

Seth stops reading and finds a letter on the next page from his father. It read,

"Seth if you've managed to read this far you've already made me incredibly happy. Before you read the rest, read the other two books so you can understand what the other two went through to win this war. I will leave a letter for you at the end of each book. Start on Serenity's story next,

Love, Dad."

I decided to take a break from reading. The storm outside had turned into a blizzard, daylight was coming. I decided to sleep and leave for home in a few hours with the other books.

I couldn't sleep no matter how hard I tried, I got up and grabbed the next book, and began to read again.
