Chapter 25

I stood in the kitchen of the home I grew up in. Eros stood next to me while Lucifer walked around us, examining.

"Is this going to hurt Luci?" I ask him.

"No darling, only a slight tension and some parts of your body" He reassured.

"Now...how about we get this started" He spoke more to himself.

Lucifer closed his eyes, concentrating on what he was doing. Seconds later, horns grew from his forehead, a long black tail swayed gently behind him, his fingernails grew into sharp claws, fangs pierced through his agape mouth, and finally...large black wings sprung from his back, somehow ripping his clothes. He opened his blood-red eyes and stared at me.

"This isn't my true form darling, it's much taller and scarier to humans in Hell" He snickers with his deeper voice.

"Eros" He motioned his hand to Eros behind me. I turned and looked at him. He had the same closed-eyed look that Luci had. After a few seconds, he also had fangs, claws, wings, tail, and horns but not as big as Lucifer's.

Lucifer rose his hand in the air and motioned it to face the floor in front of us.

"Now my queen, step into the-"

Lucifer's sentence was cut off by the sudden loud bang of the front door hitting the wall and the clicking of running shoes on the floor, revealing Jay as soon as he came to the kitchen doorway.

"NO CORDELIA! DON'T MOVE" Jay ordered

"Perfect, Jayson is here. You do remember the deal, don't you human?" Lucifer snickers.

"L-look Cordelia I'm sorry! I know I've hurt you time and time again but please don't do this! Please give me one last chance! I can make it right, just one more chance" He begs

"Shut the hell up, Jay, I'm done with your sorry ass" I respond

"Please baby, I-I love you" He squeaks out.

I scoff, "You love me? Ha! If you loved me, actually fucking loved me then you wouldn't fucking cheated on me in the first place!" I glared.

"You used me, lied to me, hurt me..." I muttered, "But not anymore..."

"Well, we all make a deal the day I have shown myself for my queen" Lucifer chuckles lowly.

"Shit..." Jay stuttered under his breath.

"Eros..." Lucifer enticed.

Eros lifted his hand into the air letting a small amount of fog, surrounding Jay. Jay attempted you move his hand but was unable to move at all. Eros inched his way over to Jay with a sinister smile that could not be misunderstood by any soul. Eros lifted his clawed hand in the air again and swiftly swiped it down, cutting a large gash down Jay's neck to the middle of his stomach. Jay knelt to the floor with a grunt, holding his stomach with his bloodied hand.

A ring of fire opened right under Jay. His screams could be heard loud and clear as he fell into the dark fit.

"Now, where were we?" Lucifer snickers, "Oh right" He smirks as he walks up to me.

He held my chin between his thumb and index finger. He motions my head up to look him in the eyes.

"Are you ready, darling?" He asks while he stares down into the flaming pit below us.

"Yeah" I breathe

"This may hurt a little but please, step into the ring" Luci steps away from me and I do as he says.

-Authors POV-

As Cordelia's feet passed through the flame surrounding the ring, smoke appeared, surrounding her like a plague. The grey-ish black smoke covered her whole body, leaving no room to see it or out. They change to her body slowly increased throughout the short time in the smoke.

Her head erupted with a headache as she felt 2 pointing objects push from the inside of her temples. Her lower spine seemed to push against her skin, forming a new shape at the end. Her upper back, between her shoulder blades, felt something also begin pushing against her skin, bigger than the objects in her forehead and tail bone. Her teeth felt as though they were sharpening as she ran her tongue over them every once in a while. Her vision changed colors from red and back to normal, to black spots that clouded her. Her rather quiet shrieks from the pain weren't as loud as some could expect.

Yes, the headache was a killer.

Yes, the location of her tail bone was painfully aching.

Nothing Cordelia has ever dealt with before but in a way, it felt natural for her. Like her body had been ready for this for quite a while now.

Just waiting...

Watching...

Preparing for her change.

The pressure worsened. And worsened. And worsened till she was on her knees, holding her head. Her cries unnaturally silent yet the noises that escaped her throat, voicing the pain that she tried to stay strong for.

Minutes passed, Lucifer watched the smoke begin to dissipate, revealing a dark red-black yet beautiful tail that had a cute heart shape at the end. Her slightly twisted red and black horns we're the next thing they notice. The ends curved around but not too much. Her wings weren't as big as Lucifers, rather small but still a good size for demon wings. They had patterns on them like a carved piece of wood. Like little rays of darkness floating around, sometimes crossing each other. The next thing they noticed was her sharpened fangs from her parted lips. Sharp enough to cut through metal, maybe worse. Cordelia's eyes slowly opening, showing them the beautiful blood red that seeped through and lit up like fire. Her pupils were like slits.

Lucifer stood in front of her like her demon in shining armor. He extended his arm down to her to help. She slowly put her hand into his and instantly got pulled up to her feet. She rested her head on Lucifer's chest, trying to relax her breathing. Lucifer's arm wrapped around her protectively.

"You look absolutely ravishing, my queen," He said

"T-thank you, you don't look this bad yourself in your human-ish form" She flirted lightly while heavily blushing.

"Come, I think it's time we go home" Lucifer suggested.

"What about mom and dad and my brothers?" She asks tiredly.

"We were here the whole time baby," Her mother said from the doorway with a sad smile lacing her lips.

"Mom..." Cordelia attempted to stand straight but was too tired. Lucifer held her up with his hand around her waist.

"I'm going to miss you sweetie" Her mother cried.

"Us too Cor," Hayden said and Reece nodded.

"My baby" Her dad's voice smoke up.

"Dad..." She whispered. She stumbled her way to her family, throwing her arms around them as soon as she reached them.

"I'm really going to miss you guys too" She cried softly. Her family cried with her before her mother placed her hands on Cordelia's face.

"Have fun sweetie" Her mother said, soon grabbing her husband's hand.

Lucifer walked over with Eros by his side and intertwined his fingers with Cordelia's.

"Cmon baby, time to go home" Lucifer smiled down at her. Lucifer turned towards Eros and nodded his head. Eros nodded back and lifted his hand up, creating a large portal in the middle of the kitchen. Cordelia waved goodbye to her family with her future husband next to her.

Eros entered the portal first. Lucifer entered second with their hands still together. He looked to Cordelia and looked back at him with the same emotions in his eyes.

Cordelia waved goodbye one last time before stepping into the portal with Lucifer and leaving the world of the humans.
