Axle's POV
Months went by. Ahsoka and I together built a beautiful house right on the beach. We hung up our uniforms and placed them in a storage closet. We won't be needing them for a long while. Every day, we collect food and make improvements to our home and every night, we'd play in the water until we're too tired to splash each other anymore. No anxiety or depression could be felt here.
Ahsoka and I also built a gigantic memorial for all of our friends we have lost. Jax, Kalir, Quin, Kaleb, Axe, Ridge, Vaughn, Sterling, Fives, Jesse, Grey, Master Billaba, Master Windu, Master Fisto, Master Plo, Master Kenobi, Master Skywalker, and many many others. My hand brushed against Anakin's name. He will bring balance to the force. I stood in front of the large wall full of names. The breeze swept my tears away. The ocean continued it's calm sound of waves. "HONEY COME QUICK!!!" I heard Ahsoka yell. I ran to the front door where she was waiting, "What is it? Is everything ok?" She threw her arms around me, "Axle....I'm pregnant."
.................................................................................
It's been eight more months since we found out Ahsoka was pregnant. This is what we've been waiting for. What we've been wanting for so long. To start a family of our own. I've been running around the house 24/7 doing all the chores and making sure Ahsoka is always comfortable. She's been in a lot of pain much more than usual lately and that can mean a number of things. I've read some stuff about pregnancy and I've been getting ready for Ahsoka to start raging at me for something. I don't know why she would do it, but I'm a guy so what do I know. But Ahsoka has been surprisingly calm throughout her whole time in labor.
We know the baby is coming in a matter of days, so I've been getting everything set up. There's no doctor on the planet, so I'm going to have to deliver it myself. "You put that thing in me so I think it's fair you take it out." She joked which made us both laugh. I mean, how hard could it be? I'm a Grand Gray Jedi Master for crying out loud. I've taken on battle droids, Sith Lords, crazy deadly cyborgs, Inquisitors, Stormtroopers, mechs, force spirits, hell I lost count of how many things I've fought.
I can't wait until the baby comes so I don't have to clean the house, grow, hunt and cook all the food, carry Ahsoka literally everywhere, and tend to her every need. I think I've broken the fastest being in the galaxy record because I'm everywhere at once.
..................................................................................
The days past and I have not enjoyed one bit of doing LITERALLY EVERYTHING. I could tell Ahsoka was not enjoying this either considering she's been moaning in so much pain. I layed down on the sofa next to her. My hair was a mess, but I didn't bother to fix it. Everything was too sore to move. "I love you so much." Ahsoka said, grabbing onto my hand. I smiled, "I love you too." "What should we name her?" She asked. I wrapped my arms around her, "I've been so busy lately that I haven't really thought about it." Ahsoka kissed me, "I've had a few ideas in mind, but what about a last name? We both kept our last names to symbolize who we are, but I don't want our child to only have one of our names." I nodded and looked up at the sky, "Tinano. We combine our names for hers." "Tinano? I like that name. Now for the first name. I've been thinking, but none of the names I thought of stuck with me." She answered. I kissed her again, "What was that name all the kids would call you when we were younglings at the temple?" Ahsoka looked down and laughed, "Ashla."
..................................................................................
Night came. Ahsoka and I were past out on the bed. "AHHHGGGGG!!!" Ahsoka moaned. I woke up and placed my hand on her shoulder, "Are you ok?" She closed her eyes, grit her teeth, and nodded, "Yea, it was just a kick I....AHHHGGGGGGNNNNMMMMM!!!!!" Ahsoka started panting hard. I slowly brought her into my arms. I felt the bed get wet. I think her water broke. She looked up at me with her teeth still gritted, "THE BABY!!! THE BABY'S COMING!!!" My eyes shot open. I jumped out of bed and carried Ahsoka over the sofa. I already had everything ready for this. Gloves, water, food, and lots of pillows were already in place. I sat Ahsoka down on the sofa. She glued her eyes shut and moaned even more.
I put on the gloves and removed the clothing from Ahsoka's area. I positioned her so that she felt comfortable and so I can deliver the baby. She seemed to be in so much pain that she didn't even noticed I moved her or took off her clothes. "Ahsoka look at me." I ordered. She slowly opened her eyes. Her teeth were still grit together. She had much fear in her eyes, "Axle, I'm scared." I held her hand and looked into her eyes, "It's going to be ok. I'm right here. Keep your eyes on me. I'm not leaving you. Just keep breathing." She nodded, but her fear didn't go away. In fact it looked like it increased. I kissed her, "Ahsoka listen to me, you have to breath. Keep a steady rhythm. In and out. You need to keep breathing ok." She nodded again and closed her eyes. I kissed her one more time and went to work.
I moved my hands against her entrance, "Ok Ahsoka, push." She groaned loudly, but managed to push the baby inch by inch. I used the force to gently and carefully pull the baby along. "Ahsoka keep breathing. I'm right here." I replied. Ahsoka moaned some more, "Ok. I trust you." We kept working for a long time.
It felt like an hour had past, but for Ahsoka it might feel like a year. The baby was finally almost out. I grabbed a towel and slowly placed her onto it. "Ok Ahsoka, one more big push." She groaned one last time and the baby finally pushed out. She started crying softly. The cord still connected to her belly button. I grabbed my lightsaber and cut the cord. Ahsoka was panting very very hard. Her face seemed to relax and her eyes were barely open. I held the baby in my arms and sat down next to Ahsoka, "You did it." She looked down at our little girl and smiled, "We did it." I carefully placed our baby into Ahsoka's arms and wrapped my arms around her, "It's your call. What's her name?" Ahsoka held her while she still cried, "Ashla Tinano." I nodded and lightly brushed her face, "Welcome to our family, Ashla." I guess I can add one more thing to my list of titles. A Father.
