Plot twist.

Dahlia's POV

Oh. There he is. Almost about to enter the library. He is so wierd, more like crazy. Why would anybody choose books over food? Quickly, I dash into the library doorway, getting ready to trip him.

"Aow!" I shrieked. Instead of him falling, he stepped on my foot with his well polished shoe. He looks up at me and rolls his eyes.

"Do you not know how to say sorry at least?" I yelled at him. He just looks at his Hublot watch and sigh, licking his lower lip and tapping his foot.

Stunned by his behaviour I shove him but he barely moved. Out of irritation of my failure I begin to walk, no hop away.

Then the unexpected happened. He swiftly scooped me up in his arms with almost no effort and walked to the cafeteria door. I was stunned.

Even though I was pissed, I was just too mesmerized to fight back. I take this opportunity to scan his facial features, tracing my focus on his perfect jawline and lingering my eyes on his well moulded lips.

There was a look of disgust on his face when he noticed how I was eye-raping him. In a matter of seconds I was back on my feet. If that was his way of saying sorry, then I'll get him to hurt me everytime. Honestly.

I watch him walk back towards the library before I make my way painfully to my table in the cafeteria. Angrily, I bite into my apple.

"And why are you so pissed?" Shelby asked in a mocking tone.

"What do you care?" I shot back. We all ate in silence except for the occasional giggling from the rest of the girls at the far end of the table.

.........

I had never heard Klaus speak since he joined my school about almost three weeks ago. He always answered questions with his head or eyes and never bothered to talk to anyone.

"Which of these is the oxidant in this reaction? Would you answer that for me Klaus?" Our Chemistry teacher asked. At this point I was alert, ready to hear his voice.

Unfortunately, he opened his mouth, about to speak then stopped. He shook his head as if to say he did not know the answer. Ugh.

He was lying, Klaus is smart. I knew he knew the answer, because even I knew the answer. Did I? "Of course the blockhead wouldn't know the answer." I said, loud enough to be heard by the whole class which roared.

Klaus looked at me and smirked as if he knew what was coming next. "Why don't you do us the honours then, Dahlia?" The chemistry teacher turned to me when the class was silent.

"Oxygen." I blurted out hoping it was the answer since it rhymed with 'oxidant'. The rest of the class burst into laughter.

"Silence! I understand that oxygen is an oxidant but Dahlia, there is no oxygen in this reaction." Mr Buckwheat explained. My face went red with embarrassment and the class burst into laughter again except the wierdo.

The rest of chemistry was spent with me drawing a stick figure of Klaus and scribbling all sort of nasty words on it about him. I was going to send him a little letter.

After school, I sprint to his locker and slip the letter in it quickly. He was going to love it. I turn around and walk away like nothing ever happened.

In case you didn't know, Petty is my favorite ice cream flavor. I eat it so well.

Basically what I'm saying is, I don't let people get away with the tiniest things they do to me directly or unintentionally. Hm.
