What now?

You had made it back to his office where you avoided him at all cost. There was really no point in trying as eventually, you'd have to go back to him so you didn't end up like the lady who was hiding in the room.

Finally getting tired of pacing up and down the hallways, you decided to get the mission over and done with. Seeing as Max was also accompanying you, you thought it wouldn't be a difficult mission.

Opening the door to his office, you walked over and sat on the couch far away from the man. Before you could look around, Max came in with a smile in their face, looking eager for their next mission.

"Seeing as the both of you finally decided to show up, I'll be telling you what to do. I don't care what you have to do to attain the information, but I want to see it on my desk by the time you return," Silias said, crossing his arms and looking at the both of you with narrowed eyes.

"Sure, what's the plan anyway? I'm sure you know better than to head in without one," you said while crossing your arms as well.

"That shall be discussed with Max."

"Yep! Follow me," they said before leading you outside and into another room.

"There's really not that much to do, all we have to do is get into a super fancy party and steal a few documents," they said. "Of course, it won't be that easy since the guy's the CEO of the biggest company in the country but it's fun to piss off stuck up pricks every now and then." A lopsided grin snuck its way to their face.

"Won't they have a guest's list?" you asked, looking at Max.

"Don't worry about that, Martha's already covered that. All we need to do is blend in and get the documents. I'll be able to snatch it but you'll have to distract the guards near the room. Also, it's a masquerade party, so it should be easier for us," Max explained as they lead you towards a room. "Get dressed and meet me in the Boss's office." Then, they walked off without another word.

You stared at yourself in the mirror.

Sure, you were a hero who risked their life to save people; but you never had to deal with stealing documents or anything else. Who's to say you'd even make it out alive?
