FIRST TRANSFORMATION AND MOTHERLY ADVICE.

She opened her car door, slinging her book bag in, plopping into the driver seat. As soon as the door was closed, her emotions resurfaced, and she felt like she was going to explode. All the tears that she held back, where now flowing down her face like a river, and her heart was so pained that she felt like she could die at any given moment. She knew that was not the case though. At that very moment, it took everything in her not to end it right then and there. It's not like anyone would care, or bother to miss the fact that she is gone, so why did it matter? What purpose did she have to continue to be here? Obviously, she was nothing important in this world or to anyone. Reaching for her pocketknife that she kept in her glove box, she opened it to get ready to end it all. She wanted to get rid of this pain that she felt, and never have to feel it again.

She positioned the knife to where her heart was, ready to push it through. 'Don't do this child! I know the pain is great, I do! but they are not worth you are ending your precious life over!' That voice again. Where was is coming from? 'Precious life? There is nothing precious about my life! Everyone hates me! I have been rejected!' She yelled in her head, hoping for a response. 'In time child, you will see the meaning to your life! You will understand the meaning to your existence! But until then, I need you to be strong! You can and you will get through this!' She spoke. This wisdom this unknown person spoke with, helped calm her instantly, and the voice helped soothe her. She did not understand why. It couldn't be her wolf, considering he hasn’t changed yet, and shouldn’t until next week, when her birthday got here. It couldn’t be her conscious, because it would have been her own voice, not a different one. Sighing to herself, she closed her knife and tossed it back into her glove box, giving up on the rest of her plan. Whomever owned that voice would not have let her do it anyways. she cranks her car up and headed for home.

At the pack house, Alpha Harlington called for a meeting, including everyone at school, aside for Liliana. Once everyone gathered into the meeting hall, he started the meeting. "As you all know, we gathered here for the alert that went off. You all may not know who for, but I do." He spoke loud and clearly, looking around the crowd. They nodded at him, waiting for him to continue. "Liliana's parents, if you would, please stand." He commanded. Mighty confused, they did, not understanding what their daughter had to do with this. "Tell me, why is our new moon goddess so depressed so depressed to the point of attempting suicide?" He asked curiously. They looked at each other confused, then back at the Alpha. "She has never been suicidal before, so we don't know, but we will have a talk with her and find out!" They exclaimed together. The Alpha nodded his head at them as they took their seats. "Please come to me and let me know what you find out. This meeting is adjourned." He stated. They both left the premises, heading home to hopefully find their daughter.

John left the meeting dazed. Suicidal? Next moon goddess? What has he done! Everyone in that school had been mean to her. His future Beta even turned her best friend against her. Is that why he had felt all that pain when he rejected her? He had originally been searching for her to get forgiveness, but then alarm bells in heads went off, and that meeting was called for, which stopped him from looking for her. Now, however, he didn't know what to do. 'Go tell your father what you have done! I Tried to tell you that she was special!' His wolf chanted him. Yeah, his wolf was right, that is probably the only way to fix things. He turned sharply back to the pack house, and straight for his father’s office. He walked up to the door, sighed, and gave a slight knock. "Enter." The Alpha spoke. He walked in, shutting the door behind him.

Liliana didn't bother turning on music on her way home. She had not been in the mood for it. Come to think of it, halfway home, she started to not feel that well, and she had gotten extremely exhausted out of nowhere. She had no idea what was going on, but it sure felt like she was getting sick. She let out a frustrated sigh, as she pulled into the yard. 'That's weird, mom and dad both isn’t home.' She frowned, walking into the house and looking around. When she didn't see anyone in the house, she shrugged and went to her room. She kicked her shoes off, and crawled into her bed, crawling under the blankets. 'Good gracious, it's cold in this house!' She thought to herself, as she shivered under the blanket. She despised being sick with a passion. Of all times, why did it have to be now? She took a deep breath, and tried to lay still, but it was too cold in there. She was sure that at this moment, she was running a fever. 'This is all Johns fault; I didn't start getting sick until I went around him.' She thought to herself, staring at the wall. Finally, after a few minutes, she dozed off to sleep.

She woke up to her parents standing over her, both with concerned looks on their faces. She blinked the sleep from her eyes, gazing up at them. 'Why did they look so worried?' She thought to herself. She tried to sit up but laid back down immediately. Her head felt way too heavy to even attempt holding herself into a sitting position. She groaned, burying the side of her face into the pillow. "No sweety, don't try and sit up! You rest now." The comforting voice of her mother came from above her. She tried to move her head to where the sound was, but she couldn't even do that. She sighed, laying still as she started to shiver under the blankets again. "Hun, when will the pack doctor be here?" She heard her mother ask. There was a sigh, then complete silence. Not a single word spoke.

After what seemed like an hour or so, she heard her bedroom door open and close. She opened her eyes to see the pack doctor looking down at her, also with a worried expression. She frowned. Was something wrong? Did someone get hurt? She asked herself. Of course, if it was anyone from her school, she would not really care. She felt a hand touch her forehead, then pull away fast. "Well, she is definitely running a fever, that's for sure. I believe your daughter may be sick Mrs. Loonas." She heard the pack doctor speak. She just laid there and listened as mom and the doctor went back and forth. Then another door opened, and a few minutes later, closed. She felt something warm being put on her head. She was sure it was a rag. The everyone left out of the room, and it got quiet again. 'Finally, I can go back to sleep.' She thought. They were loud, but then again, they were. It is almost like everything was starting to magnify ten-times. Was that even normal? Is she supposed to feel like this when sick? She laid there for a minute, enjoying the peace, until a bunch of voices popped into her head. She growled in frustration, not sure of what’s going on. She felt like screaming but didn't in fear it would scare her mother. She put her hands against her head, and held them there, wishing the voices would go away. 'What the hell is this?' She thought loudly, that made the voices stop, and it got quiet again.

It felt like she could breathe again, that is, until she felt pain surging through her body. She let out a large hiss, bolting upright into her bed. Instantly, she knew if she stayed here in pain like this, she would worry her mother, so she did what she thought was best. She went to her window, and hopped out, making her way over to the tree's. The pain started again, causing her to sit down next to a tree. What the hell is going on? Why is she hurting like this? She was extremely confused. Another sharp pain in her back caused her to jolt forward onto her stomach, as she screamed out. Next was her legs and arms. She tried to stand but fell back down. When she tried to cry out, it came out as a howl. 'Oh my god! I think I have shifted!' She thought, as she ran on all fours, to the nearest lake. She stared at her reflection in shock and awe as she stared down at a beautiful silky white wolf with blue eyes. 'I should not have shifted till next week, why did I shift so early?' She thought again. She has never heard of this happening before. At least, not in her lifetime. She sat down on her hind legs, and continued to ponder over everything, trying to find a reason that this could happen before it was supposed to. However, she came up with nothing, nothing at all.

A twig snapping in the background brought her out of her thoughts, and immediately on guard. She thrashed her head around in desperate need to find where it came from, but she could not see anything in the woods. She spotted some bushes moving and turned, letting out a loud growl. Another wolf stepping into the clearing, just watching her. She watched, waiting for this wolf to do something, but it never did. It just continued to just stand there. After a few minutes of just standing there, the other would turn into a person, her mother to be more specific. Now, she just stood there smiling at her, like she was proud about something. She tilted her head to the side, very confused. 'How did she change back into human form?' She asked herself. Her mother started laughing, as if she read her mind.

"It's shifting darling, think about yourself in human form, and you should be able to shift then." Her mother spoke in a lecturing tone. She pictured herself human, then felt herself change.

She smiled at her mom, as she moved her arms around making sure she shifted. "Is it going to hurt every time I shift?" She asked her mom.

"No, just the first time." She stated. She simply just nodded her head.

"Here are some cloths, put them on." she spoke again, handing them to her, and sat down in front of the lake. She nodded at her mother. After slipping her cloths on, she went and sat down next to her mom.

"How did you know where I was?" That was probably a stupid question, but she did not care, she wanted to know.

"Well, I seen you when you landed outside, after you jumped from your window, so I followed you, and watched as you went through your first shift. " She stated. Liliana simply stated oh and looked out over the lake.

They sat there for an hour or so quietly, just enjoying the peace and quiet. The cool breeze blew, relaxing us even more than we were. "The main reason I followed you out here though, is because I wanted to talk to you, have a mother-daughter conversation." Her mother spoke up out of nowhere. She glanced over at her mom, then looked back out over the water, leaning back on her arms.

"Okay, well, what’s up mother?" Was her response.

"Well, to start off with, is there anything you want to talk about? like, anything at school?" Her question was quiet, but she heard her. She sat there for a minute, contemplating to herself, whether she wanted to tell her the situation at school, and her current.... mate.... situation. She sighed, of course she did not, it is something she wanted to keep hidden. Also, she did not want her mother stressing over it either. She already had too much on her plate, dealing with the family and all. Making up her mind, she shook her head no, indicating she had nothing to tell her. Her mother frowned, hopefully letting it go.

"Okay, well that's your choice," She started, looking over at me," But, do you understand that you are very much loved in this family?" She asked punitively. She only nodded back at her, watching her as she spoke.

"You do understand, that if something happened to you, your father and I would be very, very pained right?" That question came out sternly. She, once again, nodded her head in understanding, waiting for her to continue.

"I know sometimes life can be hard, and I am not sure if something has happened to you, since you won't talk to me, but I personally want you to know, that I think you are strong enough to make it through anything. You are beautiful and strong. Very independent, and what others think of you should not matter, who knows, maybe one day, you will be above them. You just must keep faith in yourself, suicide just can't be an option! There are important things and.... tasks that you need to be here for." Her mother declared.

Everything grew quiet again, neither of them saying anything. She, of course, didn't respond to her mother, instead, just sat and pondered over what she had said to her. She knew her mother was right; she just couldn't work up the courage to admit it in front of her. She probably never would. Being strong for now on, would be something she would have to do, not mattering how hard it was going to be. Her mother stood, giving her a kiss on top of the head, and headed back to the house, leaving her alone to think. Bow, does she have a lot of thinking to do.
