THE PACK HOUSE STAY!

A couple days passed since that conversation with her mother, and she pushed it to the back of her mind. It might have been important, but like any semi-normal teenager, she did not care. Her mother let her stay home from school until she got the shifting under control and kept her temper in check and didn't cause any unwanted fights, even though, only she knew it would not be her to start it. Her school bullies would be there to start on her, and she is sure that is when everything will hit the fan. On the bright side, she would not have to worry for a couple of days, since today is Friday. She would be able to breathe a little. 'Thank the moon goddess.' She thought to herself.

Currently, her family and herself sat in the kitchen, getting ready to eat breakfast. 'Pancakes with orange juice... today will start off great.' She sang joyously in her head. Her mother sat down, and her smile immediately changed though. Her mother seemed to be in a very bad mood, which is not normal. For her, she is normally always a happy go-lucky person who always has a smile on her face. It was rare that she ever gets down like that, and normally it's because she got some news she did not like. "Mom, is everything okay?" Liliana asked cautiously. Her mother shot her a quick glance, and sighed, making her own plate to eat. "No, not really. I got some news today, that I did not like." She spoke, her voice laced with venom. She frowned at her mother, whatever it was, she obviously did not like. "Well, what was it?" She asked. Her mother gulped down her food, and stood, watching her intently. "Alpha wants your father, you, and I to come stay at the pack house for a couple of weeks, for your father to do pack business, and for the Luna to start training you for fighting skills." She stated bluntly, putting her dishes in the sink, then walking out of the kitchen. She stared at the door where her mother had walked out of, then looked down at her plate, very confused.

The Luna wants to train her for fighting? but why? The way it's looking, she won’t be Luna. Nothing was making sense to her. She finished off her food, and slowly made her way to her room to pack what would be needed. She was not ready for this, but it seems as if she was not being given a choice in the matter, and to her that is not fair. In her head, she should be able to choose if she wants to go or not, and her choice is to stay. However, she knew her mother would not go for that. Her mother might even pitch a fit since it was also for her father to do pack business. She sighed loudly, putting her cloths in her bag, along with her make-up and shower stuff. It is highly possible her bullies would be there, so she is bringing extra cloths in case she needs to shift for whatever reason and doesn't expect it. Thinking about things like this, only gets frustrating, and she completely despises it. This is a point in life that she wished she could just skip. Sometimes, she would ask herself if it was even worth being here. Others would think not, her family, on the other hand, would disagree, and she knew it to. Even though it was her choice anyways.

She shook her head to rid herself of thoughts, letting out a loud sigh. She was not prepared for this, mentally or physically. She felt like this just might drag her down, in a way, hurting her. Grabbing her bag, she walked out of her bedroom door, and down the stairs, where clearly her parents were waiting. Neither of them was smiling, which means she took entirely to long getting her stuff ready. I gave a fake smile, in hopes they would smile in return, but they just stared instead. I became very uncomfortable. "We are behind on time; we have to get going." Mother stated bluntly, as they walked outside to the cars. She walked over to hers popping the trunk. "Since I have my own car, Ya'll could have went ahead and left." She spoke calmly, putting her bag in the back of the car.

They both just looked at her, not saying anything else as they got into their own car and headed out. Her role is not as important as dads, she did not have to be there as quick as them. Therefore, she decided that she would take her time, instead of rushing. She made her way over to the driver seat, plopping down, and closed the door behind her. As soon as the car was on, she cut her favorite CD on, Avril Lavigne, When your gone. She blared the music as she made her way down the road. The drive, so far, was a quiet one, much to her enjoyment. That’s normally how she would prefer it, aside from her loud music. As she rounded a curve, she slammed on her breaks avoiding the dark figure that was standing there, on all fours, staring at her car. Her and the wolf stared each other down, before it bolted into the tree’s, disappearing. She stared off into the spot of the trees it disappeared to, confused way more than she ever has been before. 'Why is there a wolf out in the open like this? They obviously where not from my pack, because we don't Rome out in the open like that. Especially in the road, where a human can visibly see.' She slowly started back down the road again, still lost in thought over the situation.

It couldn't be rogue, because for one, we don't have that problem, and for two, she would have smelt him. Maybe enemy pack? We had one pack as an enemy, and that was the Dark Red moon pack. They are the second largest and strongest pack, with her pack being number one. Generally, that was our main cause of being enemies, they wanted to be number one. They would have to defeat her pack though, and that would never happen. At least, not in this lifetime.

She shook the thoughts from her head, and focused on the road, in case anymore incidents happened. That would be the last thing she needed right now. Considering she would not be able to replace her car, and not anytime soon. After a while, she started to see the lights shining off the pack house, and she smiled, relieved. She was rather tired of driving. As she pulled into the drive, she took notice into how large and beautiful the pack house was. She stared in astonishment. Never, in her life, had she seen anything so beautiful. the house-more like a mansion- was huge, with a VERY large yard. The driveway was a round-a-bout, with a pearl white water fountain placed in the middle. The steps leading to the front door were brick, and long enough to look like it belonged to a public building. There were several windows aligning the front of the mansion, that is also made from brick. 'Now this, is amazing and just plain beautiful.' She thought to herself, as she parked her car in front of the steps.

She got out of the car, just in time for some man to talk up to her door before she could close it. She just watched hum. He had on, what looked like, a very expensive butler tux, and his hair was a dark shade of brown. Obviously, he was a wolf as well and part of her pack, she could smell him. "My lady, if you would," He started to speak, pointing to the mansion, "I will park your car, and carry your luggage in for you." He spoke respectfully. To say she was astonished once again, was a understatement. "Thank you." She spoke, handing him the keys to her Altima. As she walked up the stairs to go inside, she heard her car drive off, and she let out a nervous sigh. She still is not prepared for this. Not even the least little bit. 'Well, I have no choice now, I have to do this.' She thought, reaching for the door handle. Opening the door, she walked inside, and the place, to her luck, was full.

All eyes were on her, making her uncomfortable, so she dropped her head to look at the floor. Just peachy, everyone is staring, and that is one thing she desperately hated. Thankfully though, her parents were there to save her, like always. "Liliana dear, come up stairs and meet the Alpha and Luna, before the pack meeting!" Her mother spoke from the bottom of the staircase. She simply just nodded her head, forcing herself to ignore the stairs, and followed her up the staircase. They went down a long hallway, before coming to a stop in front of a door. Her mother gave her a bright smile, as her parents knocked on the door. She heard a muffled "come in", then her parents walked in, leaving the door open for her to follow. She gulped, slowly walking into the room, getting more nervous as she seen who was sitting at the table. Of course, the current Alpha and Luna were there, along with her parents. Also, sitting at the table, was the one person she couldn't take her eyes off, John Harlington.

Her mother finally called out to her, making it to where she was able to pull her eyes away from his. "Come here darling." Her mother spoke, motioning for her to come sit in the chair beside her. She let out a breath she didn't realize she was holding and sat down next to her. 'Thank god, it’s not close to john.' She thought to herself. At least, she thought she did, until everyone looked at her and laughed, besides John, who just simply glared at her. She didn’t understand what was so funny, did she have something on her face? "What’s funny?" She finally asked. John glared even harder at her. "You might want to be careful on what you think!" He snapped. She looked over at him, furrowing her eyebrows in confusion. Obviously, she did not understand what he meant. "What do you mean watch what I am thinking? It's not like you would know!" She exclaimed with attitude in her voice. John looked as if he flinched a little from her tone, but quickly covered it up, glaring at her again. "Actually, for your information, once you get your wolf, your thoughts are never to yourself, unless you block out the pack, which apparently you have not learned yet, but I'm glad you do not want to sit close to me, because I like my personal space anyways." He stated bluntly.

She stared at him, mouth agape, shocked. Read her thoughts, but how? She closed her mouth and turned to her mom for an explanation. She has never been taught this stuff, because she should not have shifted till next week, when her birthday rolled around. Her mother smiled at her, instantly knowing what she wanted. "Well, considering, you changed before you should have, and we haven’t had time to teach you everything yet, but yes he is right. You cannot think to yourself anymore, and if you want to, then you must block off the rest of the pack. When you start training, you will learn all of this." She stated. Liliana stared at her mother for a good five minutes, until the Alpha interrupted. "Alright, I have to get pack meeting started in ten minutes, so let's get these introductions done with your daughter here. I'm Alpha Harlington, and this is my mate, your current Luna, Luna Harlington, it's nice to meet you Liliana." She simply nodded, not having anything else to say, as he called the rest of the pack in here. She watched out of the corner of her eye, as Chessy sat next to John, and tried to flirt with him, but he moved his chair a little away from her. He looked over at her, and she immediately looked away. During the meeting, they talked about rogue attacks, and possible threats, that she paid no attention to, which made it go by quickly, and they were all dismissed. She went and found her room, changed into her pajamas, and went to sleep.

A couple of days went by since they have been staying at the pack house, and when Liliana was not training, she stayed in her room, avoiding everyone, and talking to no one. Eating was not even on her to do list, when she knew it probably should be. She sighed loudly, staring at her bedroom door. She really wanted to get something to eat, but for one, she did not feel like getting up, and for two, she did not want to run into anyone. Why does everything have to be so frustrating? She took a deep breathe in, and slowly exhaled, as she stood. It was now or never. She made her way out of her room, and slowly down the hall, watching the ground as she walked. She tried to stay as close to the wall as she could, so she would not run into anyone. She went to take another step, and walked right into what felt like a wall, that knocked her on her butt instantly.

"ow...." She said. Slowly, she looked up, locking eyes with the one person she had been trying to avoid. He reached his hand down to try and help her up. "Are you okay?" He asked. His voice was a little too sweet for her liking. She shook it off, and brushed his hand away, standing up on her own. "Yeah.... I’m fine, thanks for asking." She stated, trying to walk around him. He stepped in front of her, blocking her from walking away. She frowned, looking at him, and glaring. "Can we talk please?" He asked quietly.

She rolled her eyes, trying to walk around him again. "There is really nothing to talk about." She spoke sternly. He watched her carefully, as if he was looking for something, but could not find it.

Liliana rolled her eyes, and finally walked around him, and kept walking until she felt him staring into her back. "You know very well that there is, denying it won’t help matters! You and I both still will still be depressed until we get together!" He shouted after her. She stopped walking, and stared ahead, getting aggravated quick. She is hungry and does not have time for this.

"Depressed?" She started, turning to look at him. "Well, I guess I would never notice that feeling then, since I suffered before finding out that you were my mate! So, if you don’t mind, I'm starving, so later." She coldly informed him and walked off. She did not know if he was still standing there, watching her or not, and she did not care. Right now, she just wanted food, that's it. Nothing else. This time though, he didn't stop her, nor did he make a move to stop her. Now, she can focus on getting food instead. Maybe it will brighten her mood, even just a little. It was something she needed, she guessed. She turned into the kitchen, going straight for the fridge. When she opened it, it was like she had entered the gates of the moon goddess, from seeing all the food. Immediately, she started pulling different foods out, and preparing her meal.

She sighed, sitting at the table with her plate of food. Ignoring everything around her, she gulfed down her food, as if she hasn't eaten in two weeks. Having protein in her system, made her feel so much better than she had in the past two days. Her stamina felt present once again. She cleared her plate, and turned, getting ready to clean her mess up, but was stopped due to someone standing in front of her. She rolled her eyes, and physically glared. Chessy stood in front of her, arms crossed over her chest, carrying that ugly smirk on her face. Knowing this would take some time, she laid her head on her hand, yawned, and waited for her 'oh so cruel' speech she was sure was going to take place. 'This should be very interesting.' She thought as she continued to wait. Chessy just kept staring though, as if she was waiting on something, but she still ignored the fact that she was there and continued to just sit there.

After what seemed like forever, Chessy finally spoke up. "Look, you filthy mutt, I am Johns future mate, and your future Luna, I suggest you bow, and show me some respect, instead of looking bored!" She yelled angrily. She did have to admit, at the mention of John, and her being his future mate, made her heart ache a little, but she pushed it aside. She heard a whimpering in the back of her head and ignored it. "Future Luna? I would not be able to respect you as Luna, simply because I would not be able to respect that pack go around! And Johns future mate? That's not what it looked like in the meeting when he scooted away from you!" She sneered. She stood, pushing past Chessy, to take care of her trash. She heard a low growl behind her, so she turned and stared at Chessy, waiting for another response. "It's true mutt!" John walked in as she said that, staring back and forth between the both. "Just in time, John please tell this mutt, that we will be mates, and I am the future Luna!" Chessy practically yelled. She obviously struck a nerve somewhere, since she was now yelling. What John said next pleased her, and she smirked. "No Chessy, we are not mating nor are you the future Luna." He stated calmly.

Her smirk was wide, as she walked out of the kitchen, saying nothing else. She can only imagine how angry Chessy must be, and she did not want to see it. Serves her right though, for assuming the position was hers just because she did things with him. It does not work that way. Turns out, staying at the pack house is going to be interesting, and just maybe, she will not get bored.
