A FIGHT, AND TIME AWAY

John watched Liliana walk away, frustrated at the fact that she did not even speak to him, or acknowledge that he was there. That kind of hurt, and he hated it. He sighed, turning back in Chessy's direction. who was standing there, mouth wide open, staring? He frowned. 'Why would she be disappointed? She knew there was nothing between us from the beginning.' He thought to himself, walking further into the kitchen to get some food. It was in that moment that Chessy decided to speak in her high-pitched voice, causing him to roll his eyes. "Are you kidding me? Are you telling me there is nothing between us?" She yelled dramatically. John whipped around, glaring at her. If only looks could really kill. Chessy flinched away, then held her ground. "No, there was nothing between us! You already knew that!" He spoke coldly, causing her to flinch again, which he only smirked at. "But.... I thought.... I thought there was something there." She whispered out, tears steadily just streaming down her face.

John shook his head no, still watching her. Her eyes widened for a moment, then went back to her sad expression. Once again, he sighed waiting for her to say something else, because he knew she was going to. She stared at him, hurt written all over her face. "So.... you are not going to make me Luna?" She whimpered quietly. He kept watching her, shaking his head no. She let out a loud sob and tried to wipe away the tears ferociously. "You will regret this John! I am supposed to be Luna!" She yelled in between jobs. He continued to stare at her as if she was crazy. "You are not meant to be Luna of this pack! Maybe of another one, but not this one!" He finally yelled back. She stared at him, wide eyed, once again.

It was dead silence, until Steve walked into the kitchen, obnoxious as usual. " Hey john, guess what...." He trailed off, staring between him and Chessy. Apparently, things looked very uneasy, and the mood in the air was tense. "Mark my words John, you will regret this!" She stated coldly and ran out of the room. The door slammed loud enough to make them both flinches. Steve turned to John; confusion written on his face. "Don't ask bro, don’t ask." John simply stated. Steve nodded and continued with this own news. "Well, I found my mate bro!" He stated, grinning from ear to ear. John nodded for him to continue. "Well, her name is Lauren Fields, and you are never going to believe this!" He stated excitedly. John froze, he did not like where this conversation was going, considering that is-or was- Liliana's best friend. He stood, froze, waiting for Steve to continue. "Well, I told her, for me not to reject her, she would not be able to be friends with Liliana! Isn’t that great bro?" He yelled.

Anger, that is all John felt now. Although, this is partially his fault, he knew he needed to fix it. "Dude, are you an idiot? What is wrong with you? Dude, fix it!" He yelled, using his Alpha tone. Steve looked frightened, and froze in his spot, obviously not knowing what to do. "Bro, What's wrong with you? Since when you care about her?" He yelled, putting an emphasis on her. John let out a low, dangerous growl, and glared. "You should show more respect for your future Luna!" He stated coldly, walking out of the kitchen, forgetting his food. By that point, he had done lost his appetite. He walked into his room and laid down to attempt to cool off.

Liliana made her way down the hallway, attempting to find her room, but ended up getting lost instead. Now, she was back-tracking trying to find where she started out at. She sighed, getting more and more aggravated by the minute. 'Why does this place have to be so big? Like seriously!" She yelled at no one in particular. She felt like she had been going in circles for the past thirty minutes, and it is irritating. She just wanted to climb back into bed, and relax the rest of the day, until time for training again, which she did not understand what she was being trained for in the first place. No one has bothered to even explain the reasoning for it, and that is very frustrating, and annoying.

After another hour of walking, she gave up on finding her room. Huffing loudly, she plopped down against the wall, sitting Indian style, and crossed her arms over her chest. 'Well, if I can’t sit and relax in my room, I can just sit right here and relax.' She thought, leaning against the wall. Finally, a little bit of relaxation time, and peace and quiet to go along with it. It stayed like that for a solid thirty minutes, until a figure walked from around the corner. "Oh, there you are Lil, I have been looking for you forever, let's go do some more training!" Luna Harlington piped up. She groaned rather loudly, forcing herself to stand. 'Just wonderful, try to get some relaxation time, and can’t even do that!' She thought, following Luna Harlington outside. Just one day of none of this, that's all she really wanted.

They finally made it to the field that they have training in and stopped. Luna Harlington turned to face her, and it stayed quiet for a little bit. "Are you ready?" She asked, still watching her. Liliana stared for a minute, contemplating. Finally, she frowned, deciding. 'I am not doing any more training until I get a why.' She thought, glancing up at the Luna. "No! I am not doing any more training until you tell me why the Luna herself has to train me?" She stated sternly, still glancing up at the Luna. Once again, it got quiet, neither of them saying anything. The Luna let out a quiet sigh, closing her eyes to think. "Well, the next Luna, has to be trained by the current Luna, to know what she is doing." She stated in a matter of fact tone. Liliana just stared at her.

"Your joking, right?" She asked bluntly.

"Nope, not at all." Luna stated, never losing her smile.

"You are training the wrong girl." She stated. This time, the Luna just frowned at her.

"I'll say, you’re not even johns’ mate, you are too dumb! I should be the one being trained here." A voice spoke from the tree line.

Liliana and the Luna both turned to the new voice, that entered the field. Chessy stood at the tree line, glaring at the both. Liliana rolled her eyes. 'Here we go again.' She thought to herself. "Oh, and what makes you so sure of that?" Luna asked her, standing her ground. 'Oh, this answer should be good.' She thought, waiting for Chessy to respond. "Oh, well, you see, we both found out in the kitchen.... " She stated, trying to sound confident, but failing miserably. Liliana could no longer hold it in anymore, she busted out laughing, not caring who saw or heard. Chessy glared, as she walked up to us, crossing her arms over her chest. "And what exactly is so funny?" She asked coldly, now in her face. She sobered up from her laughing, and stared Chessy in the eyes. "Okay so, he told you that you are his mate?" She asked seriously.

Chessy rolled her eyes, nodding her head yes. Liliana restrained herself from laughing again. "You see, the funny thing is, I was in the kitchen when this conversation took place, and he did not say anything like that! He said you were not his mate, nor the future Luna of this pack!" She stated, laughing again. Out of nowhere, Chessy had an evil smirk on her face, and gave her a push. She caught herself before she fell, standing straight up, glaring at Chessy, who just stared back. Luna slowly backed away, staring between the two of them not sure of what would take place. "Is this a threat to fight?" She asked Chessy. Instead of responding, Chessy charged at her once again. Liliana went to charge back, but shifted before even thinking about it, and not being able to control it, which caused Chessy to shift as well. They both circled each other, growling at the same time, neither letting the other out of their sight.

After a few minutes of circling, Chessy finally charged, which Liliana easily dodged, biting onto her back leg, causing Chessy to growl in pain. Chessy turned and through her paw at her, as she let go of her back leg, and swiftly dodged. Chessy charged again, and she charged back, and they rolled for a minute, until she had Chessy pinned. She growled in her face as a warning for this to stop, but Chessy ignored it, and kicked her off with her back legs. She stood and started circling with Chessy again. Her pure white wolf seemed to have control now, and it felt like there was nothing that she could do. She could hear Luna Harlington yelling for the fight to stop, but watching Chessy, there was no sign of her letting up, forcing her wolf to continue as well. Once again, Chessy charged, blinded by rage, not covering herself well. Her wolf let out a loud growl, before stopping her by grabbing her wolf by the throat. She pinned her down, and held her there, wanting her to feel the pain she put her human through. She stayed like that until she felt a head full of hair lay on her neck. She instantly felt herself start to relax against her own will.

'What the hell is going on?' She thought loudly. Not liking the feeling this was causing, she jerked away, instantly shifting into human form. She glanced at her surroundings, until her eyes fell on her mother, who was staring at her with concerned eyes. A shirt was thrown her way, she grabbed it, and just stared at it. After a few minutes, she looked over to Chessy, where, she was assuming, a friend was helping her up. She clutched at her throat, which were bleeding from the puncture wounds that were that. She glared at me, attempting to stand up, but only fell back down. Liliana's mom squatted down in front of her, instantly catching her attention. They stared at each other for a moment, before speaking. "Liliana, dear, don't worry, the Luna witnessed what happened, and who started it. Are you okay?" Her mother asked quietly. Instead of speaking, she nodded her head, as she started to stand, with some help from her mother.

A low growl erupted throughout the field, and everyone was now staring at a glaring Chessy. "It's not fair! How come you are the one getting all the attention?! You are not the one hurt!" She screamed. 'This girl must be crazy to sit there and scream at the wolf that did that to her!" That voice again. The wolf? So, the voice was my wolf the whole time. 'Yep.' She responded. She blinked back to reality, finding Chessy glaring even harder at her. Before she got the chance to respond though, the Luna spoke up. "You, child, started that fight, not HER! So, she gets checked on. Also, considering you picked the fight with the future Luna, that is considered you challenging her for the position, and you can be thrown from the pack for that, so I suggest you be thinking about what you will say to the Alpha, as well as the elders." The Luna spoke tensely.

"Your joking, right?!" Chessy said drastically, only getting a nod from the Luna.

"This is all your fault, I swear to god, I will end this now!" She yelled, pointing her scrawny finger at her. Liliana looked behind her, then back at Chessy, frowning,

"My fault how? I am not the one who started this!" She stated as calmly as possible.

Instead of responding, Chessy charged once again, causing Liliana to stick her hand out, and squeeze her eyes shut. She waited for a good few minute for the strike to come, but when it never did, she opened her eyes in Chessy's direction. Chessy stood in her charging position, frozen? There is no way that was possible. She looked down at her hands, then back at Chessy, eyes widening in realization.......

She literally just FROZE someone.... with her own HANDS!
