CHAPTER TWO

@I kept staring at him because his face looked familiar.

Him: Clouds!

Me : Yes. It is you Li.

I immediately hug him.

Li : How is it possible?

Me: It's funny right? I am now living here.

Li : What! I have to tell the guys about this.

Me: Tell them maybe we can hook up sometimes.

Li : I will tell them.

Li looks better than he used to. He looks cuter than I remember.

Me: You know what?

Li : What?

Me: Let's do our shopping together, if you don't mind.

Li : I don't mind. I have nothing going on this weekend.

Me: (Giggling) But you seemed to be in a rush.

Li : No! You know us, we are always moving at maximum alacrity.

Me: You sound like Charles.

There is a moment of silence.

Me: Let's go to the Chanel store.

Li : Let's go.

We look for some trending clothes and I end up with two Chanel purses and a Coach purse. Li ends up with a suit that I bought him. It all amounted to twelve thousand dollars. We go straight to McDonald's after shopping to satisfy our bellies.

Me: What would you like?

Li : Two burgers and juice, but it's on me.

Me: No, let me pay.

Li : Because you are rich?

Me: No, because I brought you here.

Li : No! I will pay.

We eat and he pays.

Me: What do you do nowadays.

Li : I am a doctor.

Me: So you actually became a doctor. I thought you lied on your Facebook bio.

Li : (Laughing) Well I am a doctor.

I look at him and start admiring what he had become. He was actually doing fine. He had a Mercedes Benz G class G65. His like was just perfect but only one thing was missing. Li did not have a wife or a girlfriend.

Me: What happened to your girlfriend again.

Li : She cheated on me with my colleague from work. Can you believe it?

Me: Well I can. Some of these girls are materialistic and petty.

Li : Yea, true.

Me: So where are you staying.

Li : In the hills.

Me: What a coincidence.

Li : It's no coincidence, I told you last year that I stay in Beverly Hills. (He laughs)

Me: Well, I had forgotten.

Li : So, do you have a boyfriend or a man.

Me: No! I am very single.

Li : Let's get out of here before they kick us out.

Me: Let's go to my place.

Li enters his G wagon and follows behind my Bentley. We reach my place and he parks his car.

Me: Get in!

Li enters my mansion.

Li : Wow! I like you place. The interior is so lavish.

Me: Thanks. You can take a sit over there. Let me go and change.

I go upstairs to my room and change into my shorter night dress.

Li : Wow! Nice dress. Sexy dress.

Me: Thanks.

Li : It really brings out your body shape.

Me: Come, let's go to the wine cellar.

We go and drink some wine and listen to some music. Since we both enjoy hip hop, we listened to some hip hop. I got tired of just listening so I began to reveal some dance moves. Li couldn't resist so he also started to dance. The only dances I am really good at are the dances where I have to shake my body and flex my waist. I knew boys find it attractive. It's not like I was seducing Li, or was I? I begin to shake my buttocks so that he could notice them. Fortunately he did. He starts to come closer to me and I continue dancing. He touches my buttocks. "It's working, " I tell myself. I stand up. He puts his hands around my waist down. His hands drop a bit and he touches my buttocks. I have never felt this. The feeling I had has never been there. I felt like my hormones were energised. I feel my nipples hardening. My heart starts to pound. Now I know why girls in high school had boyfriends. The feeling is amazing. I begin to feel warm but I develop some goosebumps. My body was reacting to Li's hand movements. I look at him, deep into his eyes. I remember that I don't even know how to kiss. I lick my lower lip hoping that he would kiss me first before I do anything stupid. He bends a little and I tiptoe intending to accentuate myself to his height. I see his lips coming closer to mine so I shut my eyelids and enjoy the moment. I could feel his lips touching mine. I open my eyes a little and I see that his are closed. My eyes automatically close. His lips lock themselves into mine. He tilts a little and his tongue slithers into my mouth and it grabs mine. Is this what they mean by French kiss? Well, it's awesome.

Our tongues continue to dance to our tunes for some seconds. I start to remove his shirt hoping that I was to lose my jailed virginity this night. I fully remove his shirt and I start to remove my dress. My body becomes exposed since I was left wearing only 'bikini'. I can't believe some people walk around dressed like that. Was I going to lose my virginity to this weirdo? Well, I don't know. I start to remove my bra then he stops me. "Wait!" he shouts. "No! I can't do this. I have to go." "Wait, what!" I return the shout. He takes his shirt and his keys. "I am sorry. I just remembered something. I will call you tomorrow. " Li barks. I just stare at him as he leaves. "What did I do wrong?" I ask myself. "Maybe it's too late for me." I become worried and I play some sad songs. "I should buy a pink Lamboghini for myself." I tell myself. "Li isn't even good enough for me. How much do doctors even make?" I take a shower and play some YouTube videos.

Sunday

I take a quick shower early in the morning and wait for the housekeeper to arrive. I wear my black jeans and my Gucci sneakers. I want to look like a normal single person. The housekeeper, Amanda arrives and I grab my car keys. I leave for Ella's place. "Ella come out. Let's go somewhere. " I shout through the phone. She comes out and enters the car.

Ella: How are you Melinda?

Me : I am fine I guess.

Ella: Tell me! What's up?

Me : There's this guy, Li.

Ella: Yes, go on.

Me : He just left me naked in my house yesterday. Well, not literally naked but you know what I mean.

Ella: I don't know what to say. How did you get to know the guy?

Me : We lived in the same neighbourhood back when we were still kids.

Ella: Okay! Isn't it a coincidence that he is also here?

Me : Not really. He came with three other guys here and I followed.

Ella: So where are we going?

Me : To buy a car.

We reach the place and a nice guy, Sean, shows us some nice cars.

Me : I want this one.

Sean: Lamboghini Aventador.

Me : Yes.

Sean: That will be $520,200.

Me : Yes! I want it.

Ella : This car is nice.

Sean: Porsche!

Me : You like it?

Ella : Yes.

Me : I can buy it for you. Give us the Porsche as well, Sean.

Sean: Come over here and talk to him.

We pay for the cars. The cars were to be delivered at our house in four hours. Sean talks to Ella for a minute. We get back into my car and depart.

Ella: Thanks Melinda. I really appreciate.

Me : It's nothing really.

Ella: I can imagine driving around in a Porsche. People will think I am a millionaire.

Me : With this determination of yours, you will be a millionaire in less than three years.

Ella: I hope so.

Me : You know, I just feel stupid for what happened yesterday. Why did I do that?

Ella: Don't stress yourself.

Me : Don't ruin your life girl. Find a boyfriend.

Ella: So what would you choose, a good boyfriend or your millions?

Me : I would choose a good man who has millions. (I laugh.)

Ella: Do you know what Sean said?

Me : What did he say?

Ella: He asked If your father is the one who gave you his black card. I told him it's all yours and you have your own business.

Me : Then what did he say?

Ella: He asked for your number. (She giggles)

Me : Tell me you gave him.

Ella: I didn't give him.

Me : Why?

Ella: Melinda relax! You will find someone soon enough.

Me : I hope so, because money is not enough for me to feel complete and happy.

Ella: So, where are we going?

Me : Where do you want to go?

Ella: To the mall. I want to buy anything with the Gucci label on it. Gucci should pay you. You make their brands look perfect.

Me : (Laughing ) Really?

Ella: Yes!

Me : So let's go to the mall and see what they have for us.

We reach the mall and enter the Gucci store. We see a lot of nice t-shirts. We buy a plethora of them. The Chanel shop looked tempting so we entered it. There were some nice sneakers and heels. We buy them too and leave the mall for a McDonald's drive through. I buy some burgers and juice. I park the car and we eat whilst we gossip. We depart from the parking lot.

Me : So, how is your sister?

Ella: She is fine. You know college students are unpredictable these days.

Me : True. She can come with a big belly and tell you she is having a boy.

Ella: These days we can never tell what's on their mind.

I drop Ella of at her home and I go straight to mine. I reach my place and I find my brand new car in front of the house. I enter my house and Amanda greets me as she leaves. The house was clean and spotless. At around seven in the evening my phone rings. The name 'Ischariot' displays on my screen. "What does Li want now?" I ask myself. I answer his call and he says, "Come out!" I went out immediately and I see many familiar faces.

"What! Am I seeing correctly," I shout.
