Forty years ago, a demon visited the small town of Devonshire, Illinois. And it never left. It waited, hidden amongst them all, pretending to be one of them, allowing its hunger for them to fester and grow. But now the demon will wait no longer. Its hunger can no longer be contained. It is up to high schooler, Joe Madsen and his friends to stop the creature before it can completely consume the town in flames.

The Waiting Demon

 “...several fires in Devonshire. Repeat, several fires in Devonshire....there’s a major fire at 1201 Washington off of North Main...the building is a Catholic Church...police have been notified and are on scene...another fire has begun on Briar Ridge at a residence...that’s 144 Briar Ridge...” 


 It happened quickly after this point. The date was October 31 and Devonshire had never seen a day like this one, nor would it ever again.
