Dietrich approached the helm; a sudden chirp rang from the monitor, a cloaked figure illuminated by the immense eerie glow of soft amber light, its eyes vacant and straight. For a brief moment, he was caught off guard then recognition flooded past his initial feeling and his foresight showed him Meng in the darkness. Dietrich could feel his own jaw clenching as the static blasted through to him, he cleared his throat and checked around the control room before addressing him.

“Grand Historian, I assumed we’d have to reschedule our conference for later due to the events that occurred during the council meeting and the urgency alert from Uion.” He tried to muster a smile to charm Meng, Meng tutted, and his folded expression etched heavy in disappointment.
