Chapter 3: MET AGAIN

"Amethys" the man called her, She did not expect to see the man in front of her again. For eight years she was able to see her male friend again.

"Khalil" she said still shocked. " What are you doing here?" she asked.

"I should be the one to ask you that. What are you doing here? It's already dark, it's

dangerous and what are you carrying?" the young man asked her while turning to the things she was carrying.

"Ah this? It's nothing " she lied.

"Impossible" said the young man who obviously did not believe in her.

"It's my things, I left home" she tried to smile in front of the young man. She was shocked to see the young man when he suddenly took his belongings from her. "Wait what are you doing?" she asked the young man in surprise and tried to snatch the belongings that Khalil was holding.

"I know you have no place to stay, so you stay to my condo " said the young man. She was shocked when she look at the young man and the young man finally got her belongings and put it directly in the passenger seat.

"T-Thank you" she said sitting in the young man's car.

"One thing too, I also want to talk to you. I haven't saw you for eight years" said the young man causing her to bite her lower lip.

'I'm not ready for this issue' she whispered to herself.

"I'll take you first and let's just talk about it next time" Khalil said "Let's go?"

She just nodded. Khalil started driving to the condo he owned.

Since Amethys was able to leave Hades' office, Hades immediately ordered him to follow Amethys but unfortunately he did not catch the taxi that Amethys was riding in. Fortunately, he saw Amethys get off the Taxi (which was the one that he follows) . Just as he was removing his seat belt, Amethys suddenly disappeared from his sight.

"Shit!" he said and quickly got out of his car. Left and right, he looked around, hoping he could see even the shadow of Amethys, but he saw nothing.

"Excuse me" He said to the gay man he Saw. His eyes widened as the gay man looked at him from head to toe.

"Did you fall from the sky?" said the gay man still holding his hard arm and leg.

"Ah did you know who's Amethys Imperial?" he asked the gay.

"Is it Amy? The news caster?" suddenly the woman in a hat and a basketball jersey entered.

"yes! he is!" he reply

"Why did you need from him handsome? Don't looked for Amy the news caster, I'm here" said the gay. He slightly moved away and scratched his forehead.

"I'm her friend, where can I find her?" he asked again.

Gosh handsome! Her things was taking up " the gay answered him. "It's a pity she hasn't even shown me on T.V yet she will leave immediately" the gay added.

"what did you mean?"

"Just enter that alley and then when you saw a Truck, ask the men there who Amethys is. I'm sure they know who Amy is because what they are carrying is Amethys belongings " the brusque woman replied.

"Thank you" he said then he ran into the alley that was pointed by the woman.

To be honest, when he faces the alley, he just wants to go crazy and blow up the skull of the one who taught him because, there are so many twists and turns there.

He was not told if he should pass on the left or on the right or if he should just walk straight.

Khalil looked around but he did not see anyone scattered on the road except for the men who were drunk. Even if he asks that, he will not get an answer because he is sure that non-minds will travel and he will not get a sensible answer.

He was walking around, he also tried to enter every corner of the alley but he could not see Amethys until he got tired and went back to the car.

"F * UCK! WHERE ARE YOU!" he was Annoyed, he hit the steering wheel of the car, until his cellphone rang.

"Did you find her already?" Hades' voice on the other line.

"Not yet, she suddenly lost at mysight" he replied. He heard Hades' crisp cheap from the other line.

"Find her!" shout command of friend. He answered his friend with a sigh and stared at the front. He had a translucent woman who was struggling with what she was carrying.

He smiled when he saw Amethys.

"I saw her" he said then dropped the call. He immediately drove closer to Amethys. He watched it as Amethys stared at the starry sky.

"were here" he said as his car hit a unit. He immediately went downstairs and had Amethys open the door.

"Thank you" she said shyly then get off the ride. Amethys immediately helped Khalil release his belongings. Although she was nervous, she had to fight what she was feeling, he also knew that Khalil, was also with Hades, he was involved in the evil deed.

'Is this where I should start? or do I need to think carefully about what I am going to do? ' Amethys whispered to herself as she looked around the entire guess room owned by his friend Khalil.

"Amy?" voice and knocking from the door of the guess room. She immediately stood up, fix herself before finally opening the door. "Let's eat" Khalil said to her. She smiled and then followed the young man down to the dining area where the food that Khalil bought from a famous restaurant was ready.

"Thank you" she said as she watched the food in front of her. All of that was her favorite, from the drink to the dessert.

"eat up, you lose so much weight" Khalil replied. He smiled bitterly and started eating. "Where have you been?" Khalil suddenly asked her in the middle of their dinner. Amethys slowly chewed and swallowed it as if she had swallowed a whole loaf of bread.

"a- at work"she replied. at once she swallow deeply again.

"No, not that, 8 year ago" Khalil Clarified his words. Amethys cleared her through and she looked at Khalil straight to the eye.

"I went abroad" she directly answered.

"For what?" Khalil asked again while holding the cellphone under the table. Amethys does not know that Hades is on the other line and listens to what they are talking about.

"To work" Amethys replied. Even khalil lost his temper, he did not lose the annoyance he felt.

Why does he have to know where did I go?

Khalil did not answer and looked at Amethys straightly , They both had black aura, talking seriously, and theirs a line between them.

"Why do you asked?" Amethys asked seriously which surprised Khalil but he did not make it obvious to Amethys. He did not expect the tone of Amethys' words to be far, far away from the Amethys they had been since childhood.

"I just .... I just want to know" he replied. "You leaved without a single word Amy, so what do you expect to be our reaction ?! You came back but you never said" Khalil sighed to Amethys.

"How? Tell me Khalil, HOW!" Amethys shouted and her tears began to flow. She did not expect this would happen. "I was scared, thought that you and Hades will not accept me anymore, Yes, I leaved both of you without single word ..... I do not want to leave too, but I can't" Amethys whispered then bend down and quietly cry. "I'm sorry" she said then stood up and ran back to the guess room.

Amethys P.O.V

I silently cried as I hugged and the photo of the three of us at graduation. I can't tell him the truth because they will be ruined, I am no longer Amethys that their childhood friend. I am different now, I can protect myself, I can stand on my own two feet, for no year I have been able to lean on nothing in times of need but only myself, I was killed by my own anger formed in my heart and mind, Amethys, who they know is dead. The Amethys who was a bad personality and will make their lives miserable in was front of them now. I have my own principles in life, I only think of my own safety, but it is another matter when my loved ones are involved, in what I have to do. Khalil was not only been a friend in my life, he has become a marked brother and he has been my savior.

"Why are you making Amy cry !?" he shouted at the children who made me cry. "Amy what did they do to you?" he asked worriedly.

"They pushed me" I said while still crying and holding the knee that was bleeding due to the wound.

"say sorry to her!" He shouted at the children but instead of apologizing to me, they laugh.

"Why are we following you? What are you going to do?"

"I will punch you"

I smiled when I remembered that event, where Hades suddenly came with a trace of anger on his face. Since then I have never fought with any children because they were afraid of Hades. Hades who is not only my friend and defender, because he is also the only man I love.

I remained staring at our picture frame for a minute when my phone suddenly rang.

It was Hera.

"Hello"

"where the hell are you !?" I removed my cellphone from my ear because she was shouting.

"at Khalil's condo" I replied, and there was silent from the call.

"W-What?" she asked incredulously from her few seconds of silence.

"Don't worry about me—"

"Don't let your emotion control you Artemis, remember the project that president moon gave you" she cut my words. I sigh heavely.

"I- I know" I replied even though my emotions had eaten me before.

"Remember the rules Artemis, I'm hella worried" Hera's voice showed sadness when she said those words.

"I- I remember, A- Always, Thank you" I replied.

"Go to my place after you left Khalil's condo, Got it?"

"Got it" I answered then turned off the call. A deep sigh made me gasp and then I looked around the room where I was. Smells masculine, clean, super soft bed, and aircon. I walked closer to the balcony and there tasted the cold air coming from the depths of the night. I immediately looked up at the star-filled sky.

The peaceful look of your as if there is no typhoon coming.

"Mom, Dad, how are you? I, okay, I ran away again so this is me now, in Khalil's Condo unit. I felt so happy to able to step on it again, even though our conversation did not go well. I'm still happy because somehow I want to see him again. Please guide me in my decision. " For a minute I was staring at the sky while closing my eyes, when I felt dizzy. I immediately went in and cleaned my body before deciding to go to sleep.

"DO NOT HURT MY WIFE AND MY DAUGHTER " Dad shouted as he continued to block himself to Mama and me. "I feel sorry for you, don't hurt them, I will do everything you want, just let them go"

"YET! NO! NO! NO ONE WILL LEAVE ALONE!" I shouted as I cried and supported Mama who was weakening because of the wounds and bruises she sustained due to these bad men beating her.

"I feel sorry for you, please let us go" when I begged, but instead of pitying and granting my request, they made us laugh and kicked Papa in the stomach, causing him to vomit blood.

"PA!" I could do nothing but cry and shout the word Papa as he was gradually killed by heartless men, until Papa became weak and almost lost his strength. "PAPA!" I crawled closer to Papa but I was immediately stopped when I heard a gunshot.

"NO!"

"MAMA!" I got up and took a deep breath one after another. six years, six years since it was made, but here I am, constantly haunted by that nightmare, where they mercilessly killed the most important person in my life, where they tortured and killed my parents in front of me.

"Lo siento, Papa, Mama. Lo siento" I said while shaking and my tears kept dripping. "No hago nada para ayudar a los dos, lo siento."

A few minutes nail in that position before I finally put away my stuff and put it back in the box.

I quietly went out of Khalil's condo with all my belongings except for a letter I was magnet to his fridge. It was only 3:00 o'clock so the whole area was quiet, only a few passenger cars and cars could be heard on the road.

"Thank you so much for continuing with me, I would like to thank you very much for helping me tonight. I'm sorry if our conversation didn't go well but I'm really happy that we met and talked again. I missed you Super Khalil, until we met again ...
