CHAPTER 4: HIS EYES

Amethys is peacefully rated at her friend Hera's house. Hera is currently in Spain to finish the jobs that President Maze ordered her to do. A big man involved in Illegal drugs has her job which was not easy for Hera because with just one wrong move she could be revived at any time. But she doesn't have that in mind because since she decided to join the organization she belongs to now ... Death is just a room.

just like Amethys, she will sacrifice her life for justice and correct the crooked government policy. Meanwhile, Khalil did not know what to do because as soon as he woke up he saw Amethys' letter saying goodbye. Though nervous, Khalil called Hades to say that something had happened that he would not be happy about.

"What the hell! In this fucking hour Khalil! Really !?" Hades immediately growled at him from the other line.

"We have a problem" he said nervously.

"spill the tea" Hades said calmly so he was even more nervous.

"A-Amethys is M-Missing—"

"WHAT !?"

"I said Ame is missing—"

"DO I LOOK LIKE A JOKE FOR YOU !?" Khalil just bit his lower lip because of Hades' shout.

'I said keep quiet' Khalil whispered to himself.

"I'll go there. Wait me for a minute" Hades said then turned off the call. Khalil just took a deep breath and sat on the couch.

"Where are you going Amethys! I'm ruining you!" Khalil shouted angrily as he messed up his hair.

Minute passed by Hades arrived at Khalil's house.

"Where the f * fuck she is !?" Hades greeted Khalil.

"I don't know, this is all she left" Khalil replied then handed Hades the letter left by Amethys. Hades accepted it and frowned.

"I said watch him! How is she out from here" he sighed to Khalil.

"Come here" Khalil said then went up to the Guess room where he let Amethys to stay. The window was open and the comforter that Amethys used to get down was left there.

"what the hell" Hades said incredulously.

"She even broke my gate, for god sake!" Khalil said. They do not know the true identity of Amethys.

AMETHYS P.O.V

I was able to get out of Khalil's house peacefully with the help of the blanket I had put on. Most likely he is looking for me now because it has been two hours since I ran away. I left a letter for him so I hope he doesn't continue to look for me.

"How's your project?" Hera asked. She had just arrived from Spain an hour ago.

"It's fine" I answered sparingly even though I wanted to drop it out because I knew where it would all end. It is not impossible for one of us to be hurt but we have to ask who? Of course I am, I can not deny that until now I still rely on Hades, hoping that he will love me back. But it was vague because of the state of my life. not even a strand of my hair did not suit for him. He is a successful businessman with illegal activities. While I am just a difficult person to bring down the person I love. I do not know what sin I have committed in my past life and why this is the kind of punishment I am currently experiencing. It's okay for me to suffer but why should even Hades to be involved.

"Don't ever lie to me Amethys, I know you from head to foot "he said, I could not answer because I knew she knew me and she knew my thoughts that it was impossible to do." Do what ever you want just don't drop this project. You know our motto in organization. "He said with a smile.

"I'm leaving so I might be late for work" I said goodbye before I finally left her house. I immediately took a Taxi to deliver to the studio. The service will not be able to pick me up because I did not tell them what happened to me yesterday. When I got to the studio, I quickly went inside where Brent met me immediately.

"We passed you earlier at your house, you're not their," he said.

"I ran away I did not pay my three months rent" I replied.

"Where did you go now?" he asked as we boarded the elevator.

"At Hera's house"

"Is that so, good and you have a temporary place to stay. What do you plan to do now?"

"I don't know. My mind is still very confused because of the project given to me by President Maze" I replied. In every country there is a studio owned by the President that we bring with us every news we gather.

When we finally got to the studio which is on the 5ft floor we immediately entered there.

"It's good that Artemis came" Pysche, our editor in chief, greeted me.

"Is there a problem?" I wondered as I sat in my seat.

"President Maze sent a letter for you" he said then handed me an envelope containing President Maze's letter.

I was suddenly nervous because of the content of that letter. I have to start my project by interviewing Hades. So what do you do? Amethys 'hands were nervous and cold as he approached Hades' secretary and asked if Hades was in the office.

"Come in!" he said. Amethys took another three breaths and adjusted her posture before finally opening the door and going inside.

Hades was shocked by her, Amethys' expression did not change and he just looked at the young man seriously.

"Sorry for coming here without your permission Mr. Frennier" she said coldly. "I'm here to do an interview with you" she added without taking his eyes off Hades.

Behind Amethys' cold treatment she could not deny the nervousness and coldness she felt in front of the young man.

"I don't do Interview" Hades replied colder in her dealings. "Now, you may go if you don't have anything to say" the young man added then sat down in his swive chair.

"I need your cooperation with this one Hades" she finally said the young man's name. Shocked, Hades maintained his cold treatment of Amethys.

"I said No Ms. Imperial and that final" Hades replied firmly to him. Amethys just sighed and did not leave a single word when she left Hades' office.

"Now I hate my name" Hades' eyes glazed over as he said that to himself.

While riding in Hera's car, Amethys took a deep breath and his friend seemed to notice.

"Can you please stop fidgeting and sighing, will you?" Hera said angrily to him.

he glared at it. "I'm disgusted"

"why? because he kicked you out or he refused your interview?" Hera asked her as she continued to drive towards Starbucks.

"Can both?" she said "I was still nervous earlier"

"pch! if you publicly release the illegal activities of politicians and big people in every country you will not be nervous, and when you fight and your life depends you will not be nervous then now it 's just Hades for pete sake Amy! " her friend growled at her.

"I care for him, I want to drop this project because I don't want him to suffer just because of me ... I love him" he said almost in a whisper.

"you love him huh?" laughed her friend then looked at her seriously. "why did you leave him? why didn't you say goodbye? You could have at least said good bye to him." and what Hera said give a 'Bang' on her chest.

Conscience ate her heart. "I need to" sHe said then sighed looking at the road.

A minute later, they arrived at the nearest starbucks. he feels like drinking coffee to wake her up to the fact that they are no longer Hades like used to be. Ouch.

While waiting for their coffee to arrive, Hera's phone was ringing.

"I'll be their just give me a minute. Ok Bye" she heard her friend say. sHe had to leave so she smiled and nodded.

"you can leave me here, It's fine, I can take a taxi"

"are you sure?"

"yeah hundred percent"

"Bye. See you later" Hera said goodbye before turning her back

"drive safely!" she shouted. When Hera finally disappeared from her sight, she closed her eyes and took a deep breath.

No doubt Amethys was looking at the Starbucks Door when the bell suddenly rang. she was shocked that she quickly entered the CR because he saw Khalil and Hades enter starbucks.

"It was your instinct to go to Hades' office for an interview and now you will hide, coward!" Said a part of her mind.

""be thsnkful and you did not become a human being otherwise you might have been strangled now. Just shut up and function well I don't know what to do" she talked to herself. Amethys immediately rolled her eyes across the CR she had entered and almost dropped her jaw when she saw a man who had just come out of a cubicle and was still closing the zipper!

"O MY Goshhhh!" she shouted then quickly covered her eyes with two palms and quickly ran out and unexpectedly she suddenly bumped into the most fragrant wall he had smelled in her entire life.

"HOLD IT! THAT WOMAN WAS RUDE!" I heard the man say, I was so close to the annoyance and my eyes glared at the man.

"HEY! IT'S NOT WHAT YOU THNIK! I JUST HAD A HURRY AND I DIDN'T NOTICE THE SIGN OUT!" Amethys growled back at the man. "hoe dare be, he's not even that yummy—" She was immediately stunned when she looked around to recognize what she had hit. not a wall but a bulk of familiar men. When she looked up to see who was the owner of manly scent ... she came face to face the man who owns the eyes that can be compared to the clear blue sky.

"Hades"

When their eyes met ... Hades felt like they were put in another dimension where there was no people aside from him and her. Hades can't look away from those beautiful almond eyes tat caught his heart 5 years ago.

He could see the shock in Amethys' eyes. Her eyes held shock and unnamed depths.

Amethys eyes are still beautiful, seductive, breath taking ... and those eyes that made his heart cold as cold as ice berg in North Pole and as freezer either.

"Hades" Amethys voice was soft, seductive, enchanting ... And he's temted to say her name again but No! he had enough of her in lifetime.

He turned his back to her and without saying a word he left Amethys there and went straight back to his place with Khalil.

"I'll go to the Bar first" he said then quickly left the starbucks and headed for the car.

When he finally got on board, Hades only noticed the trembling of his hand and the speed of his heartbeat.

"FUCK!" Hades cursed the he maneuvered his car out from the parking lot then drive to Bar that Khalil owned.

Sadly Amethys watched Hades back out of Starbucks. When Hades looked into his eyes earlier he saw the anger in its eyes.

The anger in Hade's eyes froze her ...

"I will get you back this time ... I will never let you go"
