Dristan and I have been best friends since we were 7. He witnessed every event in my life, be it tragic or happy. So am I, I saw how painful it is for him, after his father died 15 years ago and after a week, his mother killed herself. I saw how he slowly changed, from being a sweet and nice child to a cold hearted man. It hurts me the most, seeing him suffer and not being able to do anything to ease the pain he's feeling. I keep blaming myself, for not being able to do anything. Just like how he blames himself when I get hurt. We both blame each other for a mistake that we didn't make. We both hate seeing each get hurt, we both support each other. When he asked me if he wanted to make a company, I immediately agreed. I was thinking that maybe that will be his way to get distracted. So that he can forget about what happened to his family. We worked hard together. We finished college and graduated with a degree. I can see how happy he was. It was the first time I saw him smile after the death of his parents. That memory was the best I have right now. I once thought that I'm weird for wanting to see him smile and be happy. I thought I was just being too emotional, but as the year goes by I realized that what I am feeling is what they call love. It was crazy, because I have never thought that I would fall in love with a man. But thinking that it was him, all of my worries and doubt were fading away. His happiness became my happiness as well. Since I was a child, I always looked up to him. He always makes me happy and safe, that's why I'm sure that I was in love from then until now.
I finished the job, but I didn't see any smile on his face. He is not happy, I don't understand why. I thought that if I agreed to do this kind of business to him, he'd start to smile again. But since we started this, I haven't felt or seen him be happy. Then the thought came into my head, he never actually told me the reason why he wanted to do this. I thought he just wanted to become a hero in his own way. I thought he wanted the money, but it wasn't it. I keep on thinking what is the reason, but I can't seem to find an answer. I can't ask him, because I know he won't answer me.
"Jabez. Call Mr. Castellano," Dristan said through the telephone.
"Yes. Sir," I answered.
It's time for Castellano to pay. His request sure is troublesome, but it is worth it. I spent a lot of money on that mission. I immediately dial Castellano's number, he immediately answered my call. "Hello, Mr. Castellano? Mr. Dristan requested your present."
"Yes. I will be there in a minute," he said before hanging up. I know he has heard the news already. He needs to pay a huge sum for this, that ricin cost me a lot. Also I need to pay Lucas for helping me. I hope Castellano and his wallet are ready.

(Dristan's POV)
"Mr. Manson, Mr. Castellano is here," Jabez said.
"Come in," I said as I closed my laptop. We are going to talk about the amount he's going to pay. His request is sure to be troublesome, but I'm pretty sure he has the money to pay for it.
"Good evening, Mr. Manson," Castellano said right after he got into my office.
"Take a seat," I said as I stood up to walk towards them. "You, too. Jabez."
"Thank you, sir."
"I believe you already heard the news," I said as I looked at Castellano. He's not carrying any bag with money on it. He plans to pay, right?
"Yes. I'm really happy, to be honest. I can't believe you can pull it off," Castellano said while looking at Jabez. "What did you do to him?"
"Cut the small talks, Mr. Castellano. We called you here to talk about your payment," I said as I showed him the copy of our contract. "You signed here, that if the job is finished you are also going to pay full price, in cash."
"Ah. Yes, of course. I'm going to pay, tell me how much?" he asked.
"It's quite expensive. The weapons and people that were used to finish this job, it will cost you more than 30 million," Jabez explained.
Castellano stood up with his eyes wide open. "What in the hell is that? Aren't you asking for too much again?" he exclaimed. I knew it, he doesn't have the money. The fact that he's rushing us to finish the job and now he doesn't even have the money for it?
"I already gave you a chance, Mr. Castellano. I didn't ask you to pay the down payment because you keep on telling me that you'll pay us full and in cash after the job is done," I said while pointing at the contract. "If you can't remember what you said, I will gladly play the video on the cctv camera for you."
"The thing we used to kill Chris Liam, is worth 5 million. My salary and the other hired man who helped me, is worth 20 million. The cover ups we need to make cost us another 5 million. We aren't charging you for the other expenses because you seem to be a reasonable guy, but if you still can't pay? Then we will have a huge problem," Jabez said while glaring at Castellano.
"I can't give you a full 30 million right now. I only have 10 million in my bank account," he explained.
"Nope, that's not the right answer. Castellano," Jabez said.
"What do you mean?" Castellano asked.
"I looked at your background before we accepted your request. You can't fool me about the money inside your bank account. I know everything about you," Jabez said with a smirk on his face. He does know how to corner people.
"You heard him, Mr. Castellano. It's either you are going to pay now or you're going to join Chris Liam on where in the hell he is right now," I said while looking at him. He's playing with us, does he think we don't know he has a lot of bank accounts in different countries?
"I'm sorry for lying, I will bring the money before this day ends. Please spare my life," Castellano said while bowing his head.
"Alright, we will wait for it."
