Mella sighed as she looked at her friend. She couldn't be more grateful to have a friend who would put her neck on the line just to save her and for a moment she got jealous seeing her all cozy around someone else. The fact she could see she was in love wasn't helping either, she was scared of loosing her best friend but one smile from her was all the assurance she needed to know she wasn't going anywhere anytime soon.

She thought and thought of what she'd do with her little sister. She could leave her at the orphanage but that would make it easy for her dad to get to her, besides she couldn't leave her on her own an she was certain she wouldn't have the will to say no. "Hey aren't you leaving my car, I need to take it back." I asked noticing they were still seated. "Yes we are, thank you and I mean it this time, you were great back there. " she said smiling nervously at me. It wasn't in her nature to be nice to me and I could see it didn't sit well with her.
