Chapter five: Back to the Pack!
"You can't go away. Naughty human!" Choven mumbled and growled when she finally saw Azhea, but she was near her car and he won't let her go away.
"You would taste great punishment for running away!" he muttered, and he was going to pull her but he stopped when he saw something behind her. When he looked at it clearly, he noticed that it was not their kind; it was not a werewolf but a natural wolf! It was glaring at her. And then attacked before she could escape.
He didn't do anything and watched just her struggling hard enough to protect herself.
"You saw her?" asked Zhukre when he saw him, but he didn't respond to him and noticed that he was seriously looking at a distance, then when he followed Choven's eyes direction, he saw what was happening and he wondered why he was letting the wolf attacked her this time.
"That's odd, you are not helping her this time, but you helped her from Kzhen? What are you even thinking?" He uttered.
Choven looked at him and said, "It was her punishment for escaping away!"
They both looked back to Azhea and then Choven was still serious staring at her even if Azhea caught her looking at them.
"Stupid human! I gave you a chance to live yet you decided to run away, you deserve it," he thought but then she saw her cried again, but what made his heart skipped a bit when Azhea cried for help.
"Help me!" She cried and his eyes widened and couldn't believe that she would call him!
"The hell are you going?!" exclaimed Zhukre and blocked his ways when he was going to save her life again!
"Zhukre, get out of my way!" He glared.
"Let her die! And let's clean up the mess later," he said and he growled.
"Remember, Zhukre. We are not like others who let innocent dies in front of our eyes without doing nothing," he growled.
"But she's a human, Choven! She is dangerous," he argued. But Choven didn't want to argue with him and ignore his words.
"I'm telling you, she is dange..." Zhukre shuts his mouth when Choven glared at him too badly. He knew that he was serious and he couldn't stop him in his decision! He moved aside and Choven passed him by.
Choven howled and the wolf looked in his direction. The wolf instantly shuddered the moment he saw him. Every animal was scared of him because they knew that he was the Alpha!
The wolf ran away immediately and Azhea stood up, her hands were bleeding but she was thankful that she was still alive.
"You knew what would happen to you if you escaped, right?" he said as he transformed into a human again! She looked at him and she saw him serious and looking mad at her.
And then she felt the key near her hands. She gulped in nervous but she was still determined to escape. She secretly got the key and slowly stood up. Choven was not that near him so she could still escape. She hurried and opened the car's door but Zhukre knew what she was planning before she attempted to do that.
Zhukre jumped into her and her head hit the car! Choven was shocked at what Zhukre just did.
"What are you doing?" he said and Zhukre threw the key that was in his mouth, to him.
"She was trying to run away." he said and they were both into their human body.
Zhukre held Azhea's hand too tight in anger.
"Please let me go! What do you want from me?" she cried again.
"Nothing. You are useless and worthless!" Zhukre said and gripped her hands tighter, even more, gritting his teeth because of her naughtiness!
"Worthless? Then why did you save me?!"
She exclaimed loudly and Zhukre pushed her away to Choven.
"That's exactly my question! What don't you ask you, savior?!" He glared at him.
Azhea bumped into him, and Choven held her shoulder gripping them in anger, she felt hurt yet she was concerned and scared of how serious were his eyes on her.
Choven didn't answer the question and they went back to their place.
The pack felt relief when they saw them with Azhea.
Menriszz immediately went near to Zhukre and rolled her eyes in Azhea. She hated her for escaping and made everyone worried and panicked.
"You okay?" Menriszz said to Zhukre as she wrapped him with a black fur coat, and also handed Choven some robe.
"Thank you," Zhukre mumbled and wear the Jacket. He then sighed, "I'm fine! Just tired of searching with the stupid human," he added and glared at Choven before he withdrew.
Azhea was mute when she noticed that everyone was glaring at her.
"Follow me," Choven said and without hesitation, she followed him, as if she has a choice.
They went back to where Azhea was chained earlier.
"Please, let me go!" she said.
"I can't," he coldly answer and chained her hand.
"Don't ever try to escape again, I won't come and save you again!" His voice was cold as a robot!
"Why are you doing this? What do you want?!" She weakly said.
He seriously glanced at her and said, "because you knew about us already. I can not let you let others know about us."
"Then why did you just let me die earlier?!" she exclaimed and Choven didn't know what exactly the reason is. He just felt strange when he saw her fear.
"I don't know but you rather be thankful you are still alive, than eaten by them and no one could ever find your body, forever." He said and Azhea knew that he got a point, that was a sad fact! But at the same time, she didn't want to live her life with these beasts.
"Please let me go home! I won't tell anyone about you. I promise!" she pleaded.
"Even if you cry with blood, that won't happen. Humans are humans." He said seriously.
"What do you mean?" she said.
"Humans are cunning creatures. They can not be trusted. You are deceivers!" he groaned and Azhea knew what exactly he meant.
"But not all of us were like that!" she debated.
"That's what humans say," he mumbled. And Azhea was disappointed that she couldn't beg him to free her. He was about to left her but he was distracted by her question.
"Okay, I know you won't let me go even if I kneel before you. But are you also going to eat me soon?" She asked and Choven chuckled and sat in front of her.
"Didn't you hear me announced earlier that you are going to be our guest permanently! Why would I say that if I am planning to eat you!" He smirked.
"Humans are really funny," he muttered.
"What do you mean by that?"
He stood up... "The phrase itself explained everything," he said and left her.
Azhea's fear was gone even if she was not sure if they were going to eat her or not. She was just thankful she was still breathing.
"I must escape soon," she thought and this time, she has to be careful, she slept to save her vitality for tomorrow. And when she came up for a better plan and chance to escape, she would indeed have to make an effort to do it, but in a meantime, she knew she needed rest to gain strength.
