Chapter Eight: Your Father is Dead
The pack was waiting for the group to come back while the packs from the city didn't know what was happening in the forest of Mizuki.
Menriszz hurried toward Zhukre the minute they came.
"You okay? Your face is bleeding," she said as she hunched down to her wolf boyfriend and noticed Choven's face has the same situation.
"It's Benj' and Alken' blood," explained Zhukre as Menriszz wrapped him in clothes before he turned into a human.
"Blood from Benj and Alken? Where is my son Benj? What happened?" cried Benj's mother, Tiquilla. Choven pointed Alken and Benj that were guided by the other pack and Ms. Tiquilla hurried to see her bleeding son. While Choven went inside the other cave and changed his clothes and came back where they're at.
"What happened?" She asked, worriedly.
"Long story, mom," Benj answered.
Azhea was restless, she was expecting that she could finally go home, and find justice for her friends' death, "Where is my father?" scowled Azhea as he strode towards them. Zhukre glance at her, and got annoyed.
"The fuck," Zhukre murmured, he tilted his head and said, "They were all dead, satisfied?" He said it seriously.
"Zhukre!" Glared Choven at him, but he just sniggered, loving to glimpse Azhea's fearful expression.
"No, they're not, you're lying," she exclaimed disturbing their eye contacts and Zhukre chuckled then showed her father's gun.
"So why did you think I have this?" He squeezed his eyelids closer t
ogether.
"I thought you never kill person, you're a murderer," she yelled and glared at Choven.
Choven sighed and badly looked continuously at Zhukre, gesturing him to say the truth, "Come on, Zhukre," he groaned and Azhea got confused with Choven's reaction.
"What? It's entertaining seeing her apprehensive like this," he sniggered and watched her getting panicked but she was more confused.
"Whatever, Zhukre," he sighed.
"What are you two talking about?" She said and Choven pressing eyes were inexplicable.
"We didn't kill them, we just scared them not to go any further from here," he coldly said.
"Really? How am I going to believe that?" She crossed her arms and gave him dirty looks.
"How am I going to explain this. Stupid Zhukre, you are making me held my annoyance so bad," he thought and took a deep breath. He was still not feeling happy about what just happened. He was afraid they would come back and hunt them down.
"Are you not going to talk?" she explained and had no plans to keep quiet. But then Benj and Alken were still in pain even though the wound was not that deep.
"What happened?" Azhea suddenly asked as she held Benj, and everybody was surprised by her actions.
"Long story," Zhukre said.
"Do you have a first aid kit?" She asked and Choven said they have nothing.
"What? How are you going to treat your friends without that?" She asked and Old Khram smiled and handed her over leaves that could help for the wound.
"This, young lady, we use this," Old Khram said. Azhea looked at the leaves and luckily she knew what it is, and Old Khram said was fact, it could use for treatment.
She immediately starts treating them, and the pack was silently watching her. And also Choven and Zhukre, it was least from their objectives.
Benj came first before Alken. When she was done treating him, she ripped the sleeves of her shirt and they were all got shocked.
"Hey, what are you doing?" Choven hurriedly tried to stop her.
"To tie his shoulder," she explained, and then Choven groaned.
"You can just tell us, we can give you one," he got furious, but Azhea didn't give attention to him and helped Alken next.
After she treated them, Choven poked her back and she immediately turned around.
"What?" Her voice was freezing.
"You have to change your clothes," he answered and she looked at her ripped shirt and she honestly wanted to change.
Choven gestured him inside a cave, but she was nervous because that cave was where they go and suddenly had clothes on when they got out. She was still thinking that there were dead bodies in there, but she got it all wrong...
She couldn't move her feet as she glanced at the clothes that were placed on flat woods that were divided into many layers and attached to the walls. There was plenty of humans' clothing and some stuff.
"I was wrong then," she thought after seeing what was really inside the cave.
She got astonished and Choven secretly giggling on the corner. He found her cute in her reactions then suddenly went serious.
"What the heck are you giggling, Choven," he murmured.
"Why do you have all of this?" She asked.
"I told you already, better changed and I wait for you outside." He said and showed her where she could pick a dress. He showed her the clothes that never been used by the others and left her.
She was picking each dress and then she sighed.
"How could I change without taking a bath?" She thought and went outside.
"You're already... You didn't change yet? Any problem?" He asked and Azhea couldn't believe that she has to ask things that she must do as humans.
"No, I just can not change my clothes without taking a bath," she whispered awkwardly, and Choven chuckled.
"Yeah, you should, you looked terribly bad," he whispered Looking at her face and feet that were wrapped in dirt after falling on the ground many times.
He showed her a lake and made a favor for the female werewolves to watch on her. And Azhea has no choice but to tolerate the awkwardness. She was not used to being watched by others while taking a bath.
"Why did I end up here," she thought and just relaxed inside the lake. Wishing she could hold her breath in an hour, maybe in that case she could swim under the water and escaped. But she was still worried about his father and feeling sad from the painful death of her friends. Their screams and cries that time were still fresh inside her head.
