Chapter Nine: Awkwardness

Chapter Nine: Awkwardness

Azhea was all cleaned, she didn't know how to tell the female werewolves that she was done. The robes were on their hands.

"Gosh, this is awkward, how could I approached them," she whispered staring at them, she sighed and felt like she needed to get used to it. She almost shouted to get their attention. But then, Old Khram suddenly appeared near her.

"You're done?" Old Khram smiled and she looked at her.

"Oh, yes, I am," she answered.

"Here, wrapped yourself," Old Khram said, she gave her a robe and Azhea immediately get it from her.

"Thank you, ma'am," she said.

Old Khram smiled at the way she called her.

"Please, drop the mom," she said. "Oh, yes, I will, thank you for this," she answered and stood up.

"You're finished? You have just called us," said the female werewolves when they passed through them.

"That's fine, I'll handle this, you can go back to the pack," said Old Khram to them and they obeyed her immediately.

They left them and Old Khram accompanied her in their dressing cave. When Azhea was finished on picking a dress she came out and old Khram cackled, she knew that Choven will be like ice when she saw her.

"Nice picked," she said. Azhea got sheepish, she would love to at least picked some pair of pants and a shirt, but there was nothing in the clothes that Choven told him to have some.

"Yeah, there are no shirts and pants," she said and old Khram chuckled.

"Yeah, Choven give you what the pack doesn't use. Those dresses are not the pack's tastes. They prefer pants and shirts, they were more comfortable with it, I'm glad it fits you so well," she explained.

"Thank you," Azhea sincerely answered her. She found old Khram as kind as her mother, and remembering her mother made her sad that she prayed to escaped as soon as possible...

"By the way, let's go to my cave," Old Khram pulled her hands. And she let her sat on the stone that was made as her sit.

"Let me fix your hair, young lady," she said and combed her hair.

"Wow, this place was beautiful," she said because she can see diamonds sparkling on her cave, they were shining like the sun.

"Yes, it is. That's what humans wanted to get before, and they killed my daughter and son," she sadly whispered and Azhea got stunned. She was speechless and felt sorry for what happened.

"They do? I'm sorry," her voice was soft and she felt guilty, she knew that some of her kinds, humans, were too greedy enough when it comes to money, they would do all they

could become rich and powerful.

"Choven was right," she whispered one's mind.

"Yes, and on the same date, they also killed our Alpha, Choven's father, and also her mother, that is why he became an Alpha at a young age. We didn't want him at first, but he was young and we were not sure if he could protect our pack and the wilds, but we were wrong, he proved himself. We saw how too strong he is, he is like his father," she was finished talking.

"I'm sorry for what happened," she whispered, and old Khram smiled.

"This girl is kind, unlike other humans, no wonder why Choven fell in love with her easily," she thought and finished tying her hair.

"I'm done, Azhea, right?"

"Yes, ma'am," she answered.

"I told you to drop it," she created a knot on her hands.

"Oh, I'm sorry, I forgot," she said.

"By the way, you look great," she said.

"I am?" she whispered sheepishly, she didn't know what she looked like since there were no mirrors in their area.

"Yes. By the way, thank you for helping Benj and Alken earlier," she sincerely said, and Azhea only smiled at her. She could just handle seeing someone in pain. The fact that she truly loves animals, her mother was a veterinarian, and she always helped her mother with her works in her availability.

"You're welcome," she answered.

"Would you mind if I asked you a question?" Azhea asked her.

"Of course, go ahead."

"What is Alpha?"

Old Khram smiled, "It means he is our king, he rules the pack, and Choven is like his father," she answered. And Azhea understood it clearly. And also, talking to her made her realize that they were not bad at all, they also had feelings. She only wished that maybe he could convince Choven to let her go. She won't tell about them and she meant it. She understood their wrath against humans and she doesn't want to increase their wraths by reporting about them to the humans.

Old Khram walked with her to the pack and all of them, the werewolves, the birds, and the other creatures were looking at her. They found her great and beautiful, but their eyes showed a mixture of unexplainable emotions. They were thankful for what she did for Alken and Benj. But they couldn't erase in their minds that she was a human being, she maybe did that, in order to fool them and escape when she found a chance.

Yet, all the girls were stunned at how pretty she looked in her dress, they were now thinking about trying some of it.

Her pretty long braided and her blue floral dress were suitable for her skin tone.

"She looked pretty," said Menriszz, and Zhukre couldn't deny that fact. She looked like a goddess but for him. He only gives them trouble.

"But you look prettier for me," he winked at her and Menriszz couldn't stop giggling.

"Haha, you know how to make my heart flutter," she laughed and Zhukre hugged her.

"Of course, if I don't you and I are not together like this," he answered, and then she blushed.

Azhea was silently sitting with Old Khram and watched each werewolf and other kinds of wild creatures. Each of them had their own world, kids were playing, others were arguing and some of them were silently sharing stories. They looked happy and she felt like she was Snow White that was surrounded by plenty of animals.

"Wow, they are all lovely to watch, they all looking harmless," she thought. She began to see them as normal pets, and not like wild or beasts.
