Chapter Ten: Werewolf is smart more than you imagine

While Azhea was sitting with old Khram, Choven came and old Khram noticed him even if he was not that near them, they had quite impressive hearing and eyesight.

Old Khram smiled and stood up, she knew that Choven wanted an alone moment with her.

"You are truly growing, young man," she whispered to him.

"What do you mean?" he asked.

"I mean you've grown up too fast," she giggled.

He doubted her thoughts and said, "There is another subtext behind your words, Old Khram, am I correct?"

"Haha! Never mind, just go and talk to her," she winked at him and kept walking forward. He then ignored Old Khram and looked at the mortal, he sighed, stood up straight as a real man, he even fixed his hair, and then slowly went near her with his tickling heart.

"Hey, I brought you some food," he said and Azhea got surprised when he saw him holding a box of food that was on a plastic bag, and reading what was written on the bag was a well-known food from a big restaurant in their city.

"You went to the city?" she asked.

"No, I told a friend of mine who guided the kids in the city bought this. You need food," he said.

Azhea was about to get the food but then her pride was on top of the situation. She hurriedly put down her hands. She didn't want to get attached to him, and her disappointment towards him was still inside her, she tough about him, who did not let her go and imprisoned her in the place.

"Thank you but I'm not hungry," she said.

Choven chuckled, "You sure?" he asked.

She cleared her throat and answered him, "Yes, I am not." But then her stomach was a fool and made a sound which made Choven giggled.

"Really? So what is that sound just now?" He chuckled, poking fun at her as he stared at Azhea's awkwardness. Her cheeks were burned too hot that it was turning red.

She turned her back at her and cursed at her stomach.

"The heck is your problem? You embarrassed me!" she gritted her teeth in awkwardness as she bent down her head, wrapped her belly, and tried hard enough to put away her obviously sheepishness.

"Come on, just eat, you don't want to die because of your pride, isn't it?" he said in his soft voice and observed her as she turned around and looked at him in the eyes, he then felt satisfied, he couldn't see her mad eyes.

"What do you mean by because of my pride?" she asked.

"I know you wanted to eat, but you refused because of your pride. Whatever the reason for that anger of yours, I believe it is because you hated me a lot for putting you here like a prison," he said.

"Could he read my mind?" Azhea thought and felt nervous, thinking what if they could really read minds.

She sighed and afraid to die because of hunger. She ate the food he gave him.

"How about you? Are you not going to eat?"

"No, we're done, we ate awhile ago while you were taking a bath," he answered.

"What do you eat?" she asked.

"I'd rather not tell you, you won't love to hear it," he immediately said and Azhea got curious what exactly they were eating, but what could she expect when they were werewolves, she doesn't want to think about it, and she thought that he was right, she knew she wouldn't love to hear it.

While she was eating, Choven just observed her, and he remembered what Old Khram said, and at that moment he admitted that he fell in love with this girl.

"Stupid cupid, he let me fell in love with a human. If I saw him, I will definitely eat his wings," he whispered.

"That cave has too many clothes and some things. And you also sleep in a cave..."

"Yes, why? Any problem with that?"

"Nothing, it's just, you knew all the things about humans like us, you also learned to drive and a lot of things, why didn't you build a house to stay. You have sufficient woods to use here to create a house made of woods," she said.

Choven was tongueless, he didn't predict that she would ask him that thing.

"Well, what a nice question. It's because humans might see it if we created one. And that could make humans to come over here out of their curiosity. They might think that humans are living in this place," he answered.

"But people won't come here, they won't found out," she said and he chuckled.

"Then do you think that I'm going to believe that, repeat what you say and think why are you in here, because humans also come here," he answered and she felt awkward.

"He is right. Why did I say that? I am a human and we came here means there might someone like me who could come here," she thought.

"Okay, you got me there," she just said out of awkwardness... "But you can even lure them," she added.

"How about planes and helicopters? They could see it from above," he answered her again and at that time she knew that it was better if she just kept quiet rather than saying things that put her into an extreme awkwardness.

"What a weirdo smart werewolf," she thought of him and just dug in with her food.

"I can hear you, you know. And werewolves are smart more than you imagine," he chuckled.

"Gosh, he got me twice this time," she thought and chose to just shut her mouth.

After eating and hours had passed, it was night again. Choven chained her hands and let her slept on his bed.

"Do you really need to chain me?" she said.

"Yes, you might run away again," he answered.

"I won't, I promise you," she sighed and pleaded to him to remove the chain, but he didn't listen to her.

"You can not fool me, Azhea," he said.

"Okay, listened," she said seriously at him.

"What a serious look at this time of napping," he thought... "What?" he asked after.

"Okay, I know you are just afraid and wanted to keep your pack safe, but I swear in the name of God that I won't tell nor share anything about you to anyone, just please let me go home," she pleaded but Choven didn't listen and left her.

"Please, please," she shouted, and he never turned around. He was disappointed with her. And when he heard her crying, he immediately turned into a wolf and run away near the lake. He tried to forget how she begged her to go home. He couldn't think clearly about what he needed to do in the situation. He continued to run back and forth, making all the sweat wrapped his fur while Zhukre was behind the tree watching his friend.

"Come on, Choven, don't stress yourself and just decide. Just pull yourself together," he thought. His eyes showed worrying emotions and he sighed as he continued watching him.
