Chapter 103 - The Royal Rumour Strikes

Gston looked at Klaus who felt uncomfortable under the questioning gaze.

"It will be hard," he said through pressed lips.

"But not impossible." He shrugged.

"And if they need money, I think I have some I can spare." Sunain chipped in.

Slowly the idea gained a good quota of approval and while they rounded up the meeting, Jide said something that threw everyone off.

"You know, I have always wondered how it is possible that you are royalty. How exactly is that possible, seeing as the King and Queen only had one child and he is dead."

Giston stared on blankly. He knew that there were more than just him who wanted to know this and if he brushed it aside, it wouldn't look good.

"I am not from the King and Queen."

"Then?"

"From his Madjesty and a..." He gritted his teeth, pausing for a while before he moved on.

"My mother was one of the palace maids tending to his Madjesty in his old age."

A spark appeared in Jide's eyes, like a burning maddening excitement.
