In the shadow of the past

Very soon I understood that Will just wanted to keep the appearances. His loving attitude on my birthday was just a performance for the others, as soon as I got home his attitude returned to normal. Now I knew for sure that this was the real Will. Frankly speaking, I didn't try to take any steps towards him either. 


If before my self-confidence was low, now it was down. My body was changing rapidly due to pregnancy and that made me feel very unattractive. I changed my entire wardrobe to very loose and comfortable clothes and wore them ignoring Elaine's disapproving looks. 


I spent most of my time reading in the garden, long walks were daily, the only one who kept me company from time to time was Ty. There were also days when I would meet Meg or Brad and Sandra.
