Lydia's POV
We all sat around the bottle in a big circle. Alissa was sitting on my right with River beside her while Jacob sat on my left.
Right across me sat Blake with Georgia on his side. Julia was seated next to Georgia along with Nate. The game started soon enough. A guy, whom I don't know, stood and spinned the bottle.
The tip stopped at a girl with pink colored hair while the bottom pointed towards a blonde girl. The blonde shrugged as she stood up and pecked the pink haired girls' lips.
The pink haired girl blinked in surprise before flushing red and spinning the bottle to get the attention off of her.
The game went on like this, everyone kissing everyone. I was so fucking close to falling asleep.
How can people play such a trash game for fun?
I leaned my head on Alissa's shoulder and closed my eyes, trying to zone out the background noise.
I opened my eyes when I heard a chorus voice of hooting. I looked at the bottle to see that it had landed on me and Blake.
My heart literally stopped.
Dear god.
I looked at Blake to see him staring blankly at me. I bit my lip.
I am going to kiss my childhood crush.
I shivered a little.
I had dreamt of this moment since I had entered my teenage. But, this is not how it went. It usually started with me and Blake going on a date and then him kissing me before dropping me off at my place.
I was brought out of my thoughts when a hand outstretched infront of me. I looked up to see Blake standing infront of me.
What would Georgia think?
I took a look at her to see that she was completely uninterested in this whole ordeal.
I placed my hand in Blake's and stood up. He was quick to lean in and press his soft lips against mine.
They feel like soft clouds.
He leaned away just as quickly he had leaned in. I was still recovering from the shock of giving away my first kiss to my childhood crush while he went away and nonchalantly sat back on his seat, next to Georgia, where he willingly wants to be.
I had zoned out for the maximum part of the game. I had quickly left the room to go and sit on the living room's couch, not bring able to bear the sight for Georgia and Blake kissing.
Blake was kissing her without a care in the world while I was still recovering from the 'kiss'. It frustrated me to no end. I wish I was as heartless as Blake is.
Julia had come up to check up on me three times in the past hour which made me worry that she would become suspicious of my feelings towards Blake.
Jason was dancing with some pretty girl and Alissa was with River, ofcourse.
I decided to leave the party after giving a heads up to Julia and Alissa. They were both cool with me leaving and Julia went as far as to give me a hug.
"Are you okay?" She asked me and I just felt like I wanted to cry my heart out and tell my sister how frustrated I am with everything. But, I just nodded and gave her a reassuring smile.
While I was about to exit the house, Jacob came up to me.
"Where are you going?" He asked me as he ruffled his sweaty hairs. I scrunched my nose at him. "EW. And I'm going back to home. I'm pretty tired." I said to him, smiling weakly at him.
"I know what's up with you. But, we will discuss it whenever you are comfortable." He said to me, narrowing his eyes suspiciously at me to which I giggled nervously.
"Come on, I'll drop you off." He said to me to which I silently nodded. We both walked outside in silence and went to his Blake mustang.
He opened the passenger door for me to which I thanked him and silently slid in. He quickly sat in the driver's seat and turned on the car.
"Are you hungry?" He asked me as we pulled out of Nate's driveway. I pouted a little-contemplating whether I'm in the mood to eat or not- and then nodded. He turned on some soft music which felt good after all that loud noise at the party.
We drove to Popeyes and ordered chicken sandwiches along with coke before driving back to my place.
"You sure you'll be okay?" Jacob asked me as we pulled up into my drive way. I bit my lip and nodded. Jacob is a good friend. I just know it now.
I quickly hugged him a goodbye before getting out of the car with my bag of food. I silently went into my room and changed out of clothes, wearing my comfy oversized t-shirt and shorts and then washed my make up off.
I jumped on my bed, opening my netflix and watching something while I ate. It's ridiculous how I avoid my thoughts by watching TV.
Oh well.
The next day I woke up fresh. I decided that I can't control certain things in my life and there's not point in thinking about it and getting frustrated. I decided to surprise my family with an apple pie for breakfast.
It was still pretty early in the morning and I was sure that everyone was still asleep. I skipped downstairs and greeted the cooks in the kitchen. We quickly got started on the preparations of pie.
"Is there a special occasion for this today, miss?" A maid asked me to which I smiled and shook my hair.
She smiled back with a confused expression and resumed her work. While the pie baked in the oven, I decided to check my mobile.
Jacob: Wake up and make sure to be thankful for a great friend like me.
I rolled my eyes at Jacob's silliness.
Lydia: I'd rather not wake up at all. Good morning though.
Jacob: You hurt my feelings, Lydia. You evil ass.
Lydia: Hahahahahaha wow, I wasn't aware of that at all. You free today?
Jacob: In the afternoon. Have to go somewhere in the evening. What about you?
Lydia: I have this event to attend. So, I'll be occupied from 3p.m.
P.S. I'm making apple pie. Stop by after breakfast if you want.
Jacob: You bet.
I was about to respond to him with penguin emojis but my oven beeped, signalling that the pie was done.
I'd thankfully made a big pie because directly after breakfast, Blake decided to stop by to drop off Julia's car.
My family welcomed him whole heartedly while I awkwardly looked around. I made sure to save a piece for Jacob before my mom decided to make Blake eat the pie.
Blake glanced at me once before sitting down next to my father. Our short kiss flashed infront of my eyes, causing me to sigh dreamily and bite my lip.
I'll never be able to get over Blake. I know it.
