Chapter 3
Sozen was inside their house.
Sozen looked around "Its quite clean and fancy" he complimented.
"Thanks" said Sho
"Let me get some tea" said Ume and left
"I'll.... go help her, yeah" said Aiko and followed Ume.
They left Sozen and Sho alone.
"So... how did you get here?" asked Sozen
"Death" Sho said
"Could you specify?" asked Sozen
Sho looked at him and smiled.
"Oh... you're that type of person" Sozen said.
Sho gave a thumbs up.
"Well anyway, God told me to help you" Sozen said
"Ok" Sho gave a thumbs up.
"So... can I see your weapon?" said Sozen while looking at Sho's sword.
Sozen inspected it "Hmm... quite some nice material, quite sharp and- what's this?" he saw a strange symbols in the sword.
Sho shrugged.
"Maybe a message? Maybe the name of the sword?" Sozen said
Sho shrugged again. Sozen gave his sword back.
"Quite a nice weapon" Sozen gave a thumbs up. "So what's the goal in this world?" he asked
"Help" said Sho
"Help of what?" asked Sozen
"Monsters" said Sho "Demon King"
"Monsters, a Demon King? Isn't that usually in mangas- oh wait, were in a different world"
Sho nodded
"And have you seen the Demon King?"
Sho shook his head
"How many missions did you complete?"
Sho counted and it was.... two.....
Sozen's face: -_-
"You're joking?" asked Sozen
Sho shook his head
"And what were you and your partners doing?!?"
"Nothing" said Ume.
"Yeah we didnt do anything" said Aiko ashamed
"And what were those two missions?" asked Sozen
"Well.... gathering resources" said Aiko
Sozen was silent with his face like: -_-
"Y-yeah we dont have a lot of fighting experience" admitted Ume
Sozen sighed "Tomorrow morning we will start training"
"Training?" asked Sho
"Yes, I'll teach all of you how to fight" said Sozen
Sho gave a thumbs up.
Ume and Aiko said "Okay!"
Shiro said Meooow~
"Does this cat understand us?" asked Sozen.
"I think.." Ume said.
"Well anyway I'll go out to get things for the training" Sozen left the house.
The next day...
Sho, Ume, Aiko and Shiro were standing in a line.
"Good morning everyone" said Sozen happy "Today will start your training"
He pointed at a board written on.
"You will climb the mountain, retrieve the flag and come back here. Easy!"
"What's the catch?" asked Aiko
"Last night I placed some traps, these will help with the evasion" Sozen said
"Then theres some targets that can be cut by a melee weapons, long ranged weapons or by magic"
"And what if we dont get them?" asked Ume
"Well..." Sozen's tone became a scary one "You have to at least get 50 points"
"And what if we-" Ume was interrupted
"You'll run 100 laps or maybe more up and down the mountain" said Sozen
"What!??!" Aiko shouted "I'm not doing this!"
Sozen got infront of her and faked cry "I set it all up last night, I didnt have time to sleep. I thought you would-"
Aiko sighed "Fine..."
Sozen got happy "Okay! So start in 3...2...1... GO!"
Sho, Ume, Aiko and Shiro went running towards the mountain.
"Sozen!"
"God, what's the problem" Sozen communicated with his mind
"I've found why those symbols are at Sho's sword" God said
"The reason?"
"Its a key to unlock his sword's true power"
"I see, and mine?"
"I still havent found why only you can use your sword"
"I see, well keep looking"
"Okay, bye"
God finished communicating with Sozen.
"So it's true power?" Sozen said while thinking at Sho's sword. "Hm I wonder how they're doing" thinking Sho and his friends.
With Sho, Ume, Aiko and Shiro half an hour later.
There were a lot of traps activating
"AHHHH" shouted Aiko trying to avoid a log coming straight for her.
Meanwhile Sho and Ume were hitting targets, they were very tired.
"T-*pant* that's 43" said Ume tired
Sho was hitting the 44th target, while Shiro was looking at them laying down on a rock.
"AHHH HELP!!" shouted Aiko trying to run from an angry boar.
A few hours later...
Sozen was sitting down.
"Why are they taking so long?" asked Sozen "Oh, there they are" he saw them.
They were very tired that they couldnt properly stand, they're clothes were dirty. While Shiro was okay?
"H-*pant* here" Aiko gave the flag
"So how was it?" asked Sozen
"Well-" The three of them fall to the ground going to sleep because of the tiredness.
"So it's you an me" said Sozen looking at Shiro.
Meoow~ Shiro said.
"Well anyway I'll carry them inside" Sozen stood up and carried them back inside the house.
The next day..
Aiko said "My body hurts..."
Ume and Sho stood up
"Same" Ume said. "I probably cant cook-" that's when the three of them smelled a delicious smell so they went to check it.
Sozen was humming in the kitchen
"What are you cooking?" asked Ume
"Oh, some soup" responded Sozen "You should go rest, I'll take care"
"What about training?" asked Aiko
Sho nodded
"Tomorrow, right now you should rest. Your body must hurt" Sozen said while putting ingredients to the soup "The soup will be ready in a few minutes"
The three of them sat down near the table. Shiro was laying down on top of the table.
A few minutes later Sozen came out with a bowls of soup and gave it to them "Enjoy"
The three of them ate it, while Shiro ate something else. It was soo delicious that they finished the soup in only a couple of seconds.
"You have more!?!" asked Aiko trying to eat more.
"Yeah-"
"Give us!!!" said Ume
Sho nodded
"O-okay then" he gave them the soup.
A few minutes later they finished all the soup.
"Jummy" said Aiko
"Its very jummy" said Ume
Sho gave two thumbs up
"Thanks"
"What did you use?"
"I used this bug-"
The three of them vomited
"A BUG?!?" shouted Aiko
"Wait let me-"
"A BUG!?!?" shouted Aiko
"Wait! I used this bug!" Sozen showed a blue big bug.
"ITS A BUG!!"
"But wait, the look inside" he opened the bug and inside there was this very nice smelling, golden liquid.
"W-whats that?" asked Ume
"I don't know, here they call it Heaven's Liquid" said Sozen "They explained that the insides are very jummy and full of flavour and that you can eat it"
Sozen poured the golden liquid to a small cup and gave it to Sho.
Sho drank it and gave a thumbs up.
"Give me that!" Aiko grabbed it and took a sip, she felt like she was in heaven.
Ume grabbed it and took a sip also "Its soo delicious"
Sozen smiled and said "Anyway go rest, I'll to the chores here"
"Okay" the three of them said and went to bed.
