Chapter 4: The Attack
A few days later...
Sozen is laying down on his bed, sleeping peacefully when all of the sudden...
A huge explosion wakes Sozen up.
"What!?!?!" He quickly stands up and rushes outside.
He sees some smoke in the distance where... the city should be!
Sozen immediately gears up and heads to the city as quickly as possible.
A few minutes before...
Sho is reading a book.
"Breakfast is ready!" said Ume
"Okay!" said Sho and Aiko
They both sat down near the table.
"Where's Sozen?" asked Sho
"He's sleeping, he has been working on the obstacle course all night." said Ume
"Well thanks to him, we improved!" said Aiko very happy.
Meow~ agreed Shiro the cat.
"Anyway, we should buy him something!" suggested Ume
Sho nodded
"But what should we buy him?" asked Aiko
"Well, his armor is very broken so we should be him a new and better one" said Ume "We have enough money"
Sho nodded "Then lets go!"
"But first you should eat breakfast" suggested Ume.
After a few minutes they finished eating breakfast and left to the city, leaving Sozen and Shiro.
At the city.
"Where should we buy the armor?" asked Aiko
"I know! Theres a shop who sells good armor" said Ume
"Okay" said Sho "Let's go!"
They walk to the shop, that is a few minutes away.
On their way to the shop...
"Hey have you heard?" a man said
"What is it?" asked a man
"Theres a guy who is looking for the 5 divine weapons"
"Really? How stupid does he have to be, those weapons are just a legend"
"Hm, I wonder what kind of weapons are they" asked Sho
"Wait. You never heard of the 5 divine weapons?" said Aiko
Sho shook his head.
"The legend says that those 5 weapons saved this world from destruction of the Demon King, Domanus." explained Ume "Those 5 weapons were carried by the 5 heroes of each kingdom"
"And what weapons are they?" asked Sho
"We really dont know, the only one that is known is the sword. It kind of looks like yours"
Sho pulled his sword out and inspected it.
"Well we arrived" Ume said.
A few minutes later, they come out of the shop.
"Sozen will like this" said Aiko.
"We got it at a good price" said Ume.
Sho felt a dark aura.
"What is it Sho?" asked Ume
Chills went through Sho's body, then a explosion happened.
"Monsters at the front gate!! Get every soldier and adventurer to help!!" shouted a soldier.
"Monsters!?!?" said Aiko
"We have to help!" said Ume
Sho nodded.
The three of them ran to the front gate. Giving it to the shop to leave it.
Outside the city.
An army of monsters were standing there, skeletons, dark mages, ogres, goblins... and a man with full armor.
"How many are there?!?!" asked a commander
"At least some 200" said a soldier
"At least!?!?! Make everyone get ready for battle!!!"
"Sir what's going on?" asked Sho to the commander
"Monsters!! Hero prepare for battle!!" the commander said and quickly left.
"We'll back you up!" said Aiko
Ume nodded.
"Okay, the go!!"
The first wave of monsters came.
Adventures, soldiers and the hero's group went in to battle.
Sho sliced some goblins, while Aiko shot some skeletons, while Ume healed the fighters. They were a lot of casualties, the defence was holding up when suddenly...
BOOM!!
A huge explosion made the adventures and soldiers get injured.
"What was that?!" asked Aiko
From the smoke of the explosion the man with full armor came out and directed his word to Sho.
"You." the man said "Give me that sword, I'll spare you if you do"
Sho held his sword more tightly.
"So that's your choice" suddenly something hit Sho and exploded on him, pushing him back where Aiko was and injuring him.
"Sho!!" Aiko and Ume shouted.
Aiko tried to help Sho but she gets pushed back by the knight.
"Now say good night" the man raised his sword and swung it to Sho.
Sho couldnt move out of fear so he closed his eyes.
He opened his eyes....
Sozen had arrived and stopped the man's sword. That made the man suprised so he backed away.
"You okay Sho?" asked Sozen
Sho nodded
"Aiko, take him and bring him to Ume" Sozen said
"What about you?" asked Aiko worried
"I have something to do first" Sozen said
"Dont! Hes too strong!!" said Aiko
"Leave..." Sozen said while pulling his sword out.
Aiko ran bringing with her Sho.
"That swor- no that weapon.... that's one of the divine weapons" the man said
"This thing? I bought it from merchant" said Sozen
"What's your name?" asked the man
"Sozen Mishushima"
"So your not from this world, fine. I'm one of the 10 commanders of our Demon Lord, Krau the Dark Knight"
"I'll remember you, because how foolish of you to fight me" said Sozen
Both of them began fighting, Krau swung his sword to Sozen he avoided it and swung back hitting him, they kept fighting. A few minutes later because Sozen was exhausted it was difficult for him to avoide Krau's attacks.
"Tired now? It hasn't even been 10 minutes" teased Krau
"Tired? *pant* I can do this all day" Sozen said.
Krau injured Sozen's legs so he couldnt stand up, then fatally injured him.
"UGH-" shouted Sozen when the sword pierced through his arm. He fell to the floor, weak, still conscious, but about to die
"You humans are weak" Krau said while picking Sozen's sword up "Finally, one of the divine weapons"
Krau was holding the sword when it suddenly turned to a broken and rusty sword.
"What?" Krau said "This shouldn't happen"
Sozen was still laying down, he was about to die then he heard something...
"Stand up!" a female voice said "Stand up!"
Suddenly something made Sozen more stronger, he felt a divine power surrounding him.
"You can do it, fight!"
"What!? How are you alive?!" said Krau very suprised
Sozen stood up.
"Nevermind, this will be your end!" Krau tried punching him with a powerful blow but Sozen blocked it.
"How!!?? Now human can block that punch!!"
Sozen took his sword back and cut Kraus head.
"How-" Kraus head fell
Sozen fell to his knees
"What was that? That power..." said Sozen very exhausted "My injuries, they're gone"
"Yes because I healed you"
"What!? Who said that!?" Sozen looked around and there was no one
"Down here"
Sozen looked down and saw his sword
"Yes, here I am!" the sword talked
"What!?! The sword talked!?!?" said Sozen
"I'm not a sword!" suddenly the sword changed to a girl with white hair and very pretty.
Sozen was very confused
"Heya! I'm one of the divine weapons, the transforming weapon, Tranzarus"
Sozen was laying down there, very confused about what is happening now.
