Chapter 6
The four of them were in presence of the royal family.
The four of them kneeled down.
"What do you need your highness?" asked Aiko
"You can stand up" the king said
The four of them stood back up.
"I'm very grateful for the four of you, you saved this city from that demon lord's servant." the king said. "As for a reward I'll give you 300 golden coins."
"That's a lot" Sozen thought "No need, we just did our job" Sozen said
"That reminds me, who are you?" the king asked.
"Oh, let me present myself. I'm Sozen Mishushima, I train the hero and his friends, and help them in battle." he said
"I see... anyway please accept it" the king said
In the end they gave the money to them.
"There will be a party tonight" the queen said
"Oh yes! I forgot! The four of you are invited and you can bring two friends" the king said
Sozen realised that the princess was staring at Sho.
"Thanks your majesty," the four of them said and then left the castle.
Later that night.
They were riding to get to the castle more faster.
"Yay! Party!" Sho said very happy
"Calm down! We must behave! It's the royal family's party, there will be a lot of nobles" Aiko said
"Yes, she's right" Sozen said "Why do you think we have to wear this outfits?"
They were wearing some formal clothes.
"Wow Silver! Who made that dress for you?" asked Tranzarus
"I-it's from a very long time..." Silver said
"It's sad that we left Shiro" Ume said
"Yeah we didnt want to cause any-" Sozen gets interrupted by someone
Meow~ something said in Sozen's bag
"Huh? Dont tell me..." he opened his bag and saw Shiro.
"Shiro!" The four of them said
"What do we do?" asked Ume
"We cant return home, we will be late for the party!" Aiko said
"The only choice is to... bring him..." Sozen said
They all sighed
"How did he get into my bag?" asked Sozen
"Didnt you leave it for a couple of minutes on the table?" said Aiko
Sozen realised that he did, that must have been where Shiro hid inside the bag.
"That must have been when he entered" Sozen said
"Well anyway we cant do anything" Tranzarus said
Sozen pulled out a small ribbon and placed it on Shiro's neck.
"Ummm.... where did you get that?" Ume asked
"Well.. umm.." responded Sozen nervous
"Sozen? You brought him, did you?" Aiko said
"Well.... I might have..." Sozen said
"I suspected it" Aiko said
"We cant leave Shiro alone! He's part of the team!" Sozen said
"Yeah he's right Aiko" Ume said
Sho nodded.
"Yeah you're right" Aiko said
A few minutes later they arrived to the castle
The king was waiting for them.
"Hello, I'm glad all of you came" the king said.
"Its an honor for you to invite us to this party" said Sozen
"Ha ha, you're too humble" the king laughed "well come in"
They followed the king to a big room were many guests and food were.
"So much food" Tranzarus said.
"My mouth is watering" Silver said.
"Go ahead" said Sozen
"Okay!" Tranzarus said and ran to the food table
"C-Can I too?" asked Silver.
Sho gave a thumbs up.
"Yay!" Silver said happily and ran behind Tranzarus.
"Enjoy yourselves" the king said and left.
"Well what do we do?" asked Aiko
"I-I dont know, I never been to a party like this" Ume said "What about you Sozen?"
Sozen was drinking a cup of wine
"Is quite good" Sozen said "Hm? What were you saying Ume?"
"Oh-oh nothing" Ume said
"Well we should probably eat" Sozen said
"Yeah" Aiko said while her mouth was watering
Sho nodded.
They ate and chatted a few minutes later they finished.
"Thats was soo delicious!" Aiko said
Tranzarus and Silver agreed
"That was... -hic-... delicious...-hic-..." Ume said
"What's with her!?" Aiko asked
"She's drunk" Sozen said
"How much did she drink?!" Aiko said
"Well.. only a sip" Sozen said
"Huh!?" Aiko said
"Looks like she doesnt tolerate alcohol that much" Sozen said
"Huh!? I'm perfectly fine...-hic-... I cant tolerate as much alcohol...-hic-... now give me more!" Ume shouted
"N-no! You cant!" Aiko said
Ume looked at Aiko "Have I ever told you...-hic-... how cute you are?" Ume said "that soft face...-hic-...those beautiful eyes...-hic-..." Ume played down on Aiko's shoulder and fell asleep.
"Well that's the end of it" Sozen said
Some music started to play and a few people started dancing.
"Well it's time to dance" Sozen said
He noticed that the princess was looking at Sho.
"Hey Sho" Sozen said
"Hm?" Sho said
"Why dont you ask the princess to dance with you?" Sozen said
Sho looked at the princess, she glanced away.
"Okay" Sho said and stood up.
He walked to the princess
"H-hello, what do you need?" asked the princess
Sho held his hand out "will you dance with me?" he said
The princess ver happy said "Of course"
They went to the dance floor, they danced with the rhythm of the music.
"The princess looks very happy" Aiko said.
Sozen agreed.
Tranzarus came running along with Silver and a girl.
"Hey Sozen!" Tranzarus said.
"Yes?" asked Sozen
"This our new friend, Emily" Tranzarus said
"H-hello, it's nice to meet you" Emily said
"Nice to meet you too, I'm Sozen" he said
"W-we can play with her?" asked Silver
"Of course" Sozen said
"Yay!" Silver said
"Let's go!" Tranzarus said "Follow me Emily!"
The three of them left running along with Shiro behind them.
The king and queen came by
"Enjoying the party?" asked the king
"Of course, I must say the food is delicious" Sozen said
"We've ordered the cooks to make a fine meal" the queen said
"Please tell them to keep up the good work" Sozen said
"We will indeed" the queen said
"I wanted to discuss something with all of you, but as you can see some of you are busy" the king looked at Sho and Ume.
"We'll tell them later, so what do you need?" asked Sozen
"We've arranged a marriage with the hero and our daughter." The king said
"I suspected that, but isn't it a bit early?" asked Aiko
"16 is the best age to get married" the queen said
"Well it isn't in my world" Sozen thought. "Why dont we let them meet eachother more" Sozen said
"Hm.. interesting... but how?" the king asked
"By letting her live with us and be a part of our team" Sozen said
"That's a good idea" the queen said
"Yeah, it's better for them to learn about eachother more before they get married" the king said "Okay then! We'll accept that!"
"That's great-"
"You will move to a mansion near the kingdom" the king said
"A mansion!?" said Aiko
"W-we really dont need-" Sozen gets interrupted
"It okay! As long as all of you take care of my daughter everything will be fine" the queen said
"T-thanks so much" Sozen kneeled down.
"Its no problem" the king said "I also wanted to discuss with you something private"
"Sure" Sozen followed the king to the balcony
"I've heard that the hero and you have divine weapons" the king said
"Yeah" Sozen said. "But what are these divine weapons"
"Hm? You dont know?" asked the king
"No, sorry. I'm not from around here, I-I travelled by sea" Sozen lied
"Oh I see" the king said "Well anyway, those divine weapons protected us from the Demon Lord"
Sozen remembered Krau one of the demon lord's servant.
"You've defeated one of the servants, 9 more to go" the king said.
"May I ask, how is the demon lord alive?" Sozen said
"The Demon Lord.... reincarnates very 3 years" the king said "and his next reincarnation is in a few months"
"What!? A few months!?" said Sozen
"When the time comes, all the users of their dive weapons and their partners will meet up and fight together" the king said "if the demon lord is defeated less monsters will appear until the next 3 years"
"And if we dont?" asked Sozen
"The sky's color will be red, a lot of monsters will appear and attack villages and kingdoms, everything will be filled with sadness and despair" the king said
Sozen was speechless.
"But, I trust you to train the hero and for all of you to save the kingdoms" the king said "The world will rely on the divine weapons users and their friends"
The king looked at Sozen
"I know you're scared but-"
"I'll do it... no, we will all do it" Sozen said
"That's great, now then les head back inside" the king said
They entered again, Sozen went back to his friends. The princess was chatting with Aiko, Sho and Ume.
"Looks like you came back" Aiko said
"Yeah" Sozen said "Ume looks like you're awake"
"Yeah, I shouldn't drink wine" Ume said
The princess walked towards Sozen
"What were you discussing with my father?" asked the princess
"Oh nothing" Sozen said.
"I've heard that I will live with all of you together" the princess said
Sho nodded
"Yeah..." Sozen said
"Oh! Please forgive me, I havent presented myself" the princess said "I'm princess Celes" she said
"Nice to meet you, I'm Sozen. Pleasure to be working with you"
"The same" Celes said and they shook hands.
A few days later they moved to the mansion along with Celes.
