Chapter 7

It had been a few weeks since the princess and the others moved to a mansion.

Right now Sho and Sozen were in the middle of training.

"C'mon!" Sozen shouted

Sho attacked him with a wooden sword, he almost hit, but Sozen blocked it.

Sozen kicked Sho in the stomach, making him flinch and fall backwards.

"Well, you almost got me so that's an improvement" Sozen said. "But next time be more careful."

"Yes Sozen!" Sho said

"Are you two done?" Ume asked

She was bringing some water.

"Yep, thanks for the water" Sozen said. He grabbed the cup of water.

"How is he?" Ume asked

"He improved" Sozen said

"Anyways I'll go inside" Sho said

Sho went inside the mansion.

"Sozen, are you coming?" Ume asked

"I have to go buy something" he said

"Okay then" Ume went inside.

"Now then, time to-" Tranzarus appeared out of nowhere and grabbed Sozen. "What is it Tranzarus?"

"You were gonna leave me, weren't you?" She said

"To tell you the truth, I forgot about you" he said

"Bring me with you!" Tranzarus shouted

"Why?" He said

"I want to buy things!" she said

"What type of things?" He asked

"Its none of your business!" She said

Sozen sighed "fine then, let's go" he said

They left to the city.

A few minutes later.

Sozen was looking around.

"Hey Sozen" Tranzarus said

"Yes?" He said

"I'm gonna go that way" she said

"Okay then, see you in a bit." Sozen said.

They both went separated ways. Sozen went to a shop.

"Goodmorning" the shop owner said.

"Hey you got what I asked?" Sozen said

"Yep, gotta say tho.." he pulled a full face helmet made out of metal. "This material is quite strong, what is it?"

"I found that metal in a dungeon" Sozen said

"Oh I see.... hey have you heard?" the owner said

"Heard what?"

"A very powerful dragon woke up and its destroying nearby towns"

"Well that is a problem" Sozen said

"They say that his scales are more resistant than metal and more lighter" he said

"Oh, that could be a useful material" Sozen said "Anyway thanks for the helmet and the info." He left the store.

While walking he saw a crowd infront of him.

"Hm I wonder what's going on over there" he went to check ot out. There were some guys fighting someone. "Who are they-" he saw Tranzarus. "Dammit Tranzarus!" he said

He went through the crowd where Tranzarus was.

Tranzarus was surrounded.

Sozen came up to a man and punched him in the face when he turned around.

"Hey! What're you doing?" The man said

The other guys turned to look at Sozen.

A guy tried to punch Sozen, but with one swift punch on the stomach he fell to the floor.

"What the-" a guy said

"T-thats one of the hero's companions" the guy said

"Run!"

The guys, including the ones on the floor fled the scene. The crowd slowly dispersed.

Sozen went to Tranzarus.

"Explain yourself" Sozen said

"Well.. uhh..." Tranzarus said

"She tried to save me" a girl came out from behind her. "Those guys tried to steal my money!"

The girl only had 10 years old, her clothes were worn out that there was holes in it and she was dirty.

"Where are your parents at?" Sozen asked

The girl gave a sad look "they... died.." she said

"O-oh I'm very sorry" he said

"N-no its okay" she said

"Sozen we need to talk" Tranzarus said.

"Okay" he went to Tranzarus.

They were talking to eachother while the girl was looking at them.

"We should bring her home" Tranzarus suggested.

"What?! We cant!" Sozen said

"But look at her! She has no family left, nowhere to go, nowhere to sleep and-"

"Fine! But we should let her work at the mansion as well"

"That could be a good idea"

They both went to the girl.

"You can come with us" Tranzarus said happy.

"R-really?" She said excited

"Yeah but you will also work there, got it?" Sozen said

"I-i understand!" she said

"Well then, what's your name?" Sozen asked

"I-I dont have a name" the girl said

"Well why not calling you Mi?" Tranzarus said

"Hey wait! You cant just name-" Sozen gets interrupted

"Mi? Okay" she said

"Okay then Mi, follow us" Tranzarus said

Sozen sighed "Well at least Tranzarus and Silver have someone to play with"

The three of them went home.

At the mansion.

"Hey Sozen welcome back...." Aiko saw Mi.

"You kidnapped a child!?" Aiko said

"Why is that your first conclusion!?" Sozen said "no, this is Mi. She will be living with us and working here as well."

"Where are her parents?" Aiko asked

Sozen whispered to Aiko.

"Ohhh.." Aiko said

"This place is big" Mi said

"Right? Let's go to my room" Tranzarus pulled Mi to follow her.

Mi and Tranzarus ran upstairs to her room.

"I wonder how long has she been alone" Aiko said

"Maybe 3 years?" Sozen said

"But I wonder what happened to her parents" Aiko said

"Who knows? I really dont want to think about it..." he said

"Hey! Have you heard?" she said

"About that dragon?" he asked

"Yeah, the king sent us to kill that dragon" she said

"Really?" He asked.

"Yep, we will leave tomorrow" she said.

"Well we defeated one of the servants of the demon lord" Sozen said

"Well 'you' did" Aiko said

"No worries, we've been training more since that." Sozen said

"Yeah... anyway I'm going to go to the kitchen to grab some food" Aiko said and left.

Sozen was alone.

"Well... what now?" He asked himself.

"Maybe I'll go take a stroll in the garden"

He went to the garden.

Garden

It had a lot of beautiful flowers, a fountain in the middle and it was very relaxing for Sozen.

"Finally, some peace" Sozen said "Well, tomorrow we will go hunt that dragon so I should enjoy this peace."

He sat down on a bench.

The silence and peace made him fall asleep.

A few hours later.

"Sozen"

Sozen was still asleep.

"Sozen wake up"

He was still asleep.

"Sozen!"

Sozen woke up.

"Huh?" he saw Ume standing there "how long have I been asleep?" He asked

"For maybe 3 hours, it's already dinnertime" Ume said

"Oh, so that's why you woke me up" Sozen said

"Yeah, anyway we will be waiting for you in the dinner." Ume said that and then left.

Sozen was still half asleep, he had difficulty standing up.

When he fully woke up he saw something.

A creature hiding in the shadows, when he noticed Sozen it ran away.

"Hm? I wonder what was that" Sozen said "Anyway time to eat"

He walked back inside the mansion.

The next day.

It was the day that they were going to find the dragon and kill it.

All of them were prepared, they had their gears, their potions and their horses.

"Hey wait! Why dont I have a horse?" Tranzarus said

"They didnt count Tranzarus nor Silver" Aiko said

"Huh!?" Tranzarus said

"You'll be riding with me Tranzarus" Sozen said "And Silver with Sho"

"Fine" Tranzarus said annoyed.

"Then hop on and let's go!" Ume said excited

"Let's go" Celes said

All of them hopped on their horses and rode off.

A few hours later.

"Have we arrived yet?" said Tranzarus tired

"No" Sozen said

"Have we arrived yet?" said Tranzarus

"No" Sozen said getting a bit annoyed

This kept going for a few minutes until Sozen told her to shut up.

"Hey look!" Celes pointed at a town very near. "The first town, we can rest there" she said

"Yeah good idea" Ume said.

Sho agreed.

"Yeah let's stop over there" Aiko said

"Yes please" said Sozen tired of hearing Tranzarus ask the same question over and over again.

They arrived to the town, it was small but there were still a lot of people. A few were travelers or adventures and others lived there.

"Fellow travellers, what brings you here?" a old man asked

"We have a quest to kill the dragon" Aiko said

The man got very happy "Thank god, we dont want to suffer the same fate as the other towns" he said

"We will just rest here for a few hours" Ume said

"Of course!" The man said

"By any chance, are you the mayor?" Sozen asked

"I'm sorry for not presenting myself, but indeed I'm the mayor of this town" he said

"I see, anyway is there somewhere to eat?" Sozen asked

"Yes right over there" the mayor pointed at a sign that said Town Relick Bar

"Thank you" Ume said

"No problem, enjoy your food" the mayor said and left.

They hopped of their horses and leashed them so they wouldn't escape. Then they entered the bar.

It was full of people but Sozen recoginze three of them.

He walked up to them and asked. "Arent you guys from the Destroyer Guild?"

"Huh? Who's ask-" Jack realized that it was Sozen.

"You?! What are you doing here!?" Ryu asked

"Came to kill a dragon, and you?" Sozen said

"Well our town got destroyed" The Breaker said.

"So the dragon?" Celes asked

"Yeah, it was big. Swords, spears, arrows didnt even affect him." Jack said

"Well that's a problem" Sozen said

"That dragon is invincible, even magic doesnt work on him!" Jack said

"Magic neither?! This is going to be tough" Aiko said

"Yeah... maybe if i-"

Suddenly the floor began to vibrate, they knew what was coming. They left the bar running and saw.....

The blue dragon, with different types of weapons stuck to his skin.

"I-its here" Sozen said scared

They feared what was going to happen next.
