Devi offered her mother her donuts but Dein gladly tilt her head. Devi just nod and enjoy again her food.

"Mom?" Devi called out.

"Yes?"

"You know Miss Eva. . . Hearth?" She asked.

Dein smiled widely. Reminiscing her past. Enjoying her youth being a happy go lucky girl. "Of course. She's my former homeroom adviser." Dein said happily.

"Oh. . . That's nice. If you're smiling, then she's a good teacher, right?" Devi asked. Conforming her speculations.

"Yeah, sort of ha ha ha. Why did you ask? Does she know that I'm your mother?" Dein said, teasing Devi.

". . .Yeah. . ."

"Worrying huh? Don't be Devi. Believe me okay?" She assured her daughter and pressed her hand.

A young man was in the backseat of a car. He is on his phone, talking to his acquaintance.

"How's school?" His friend asked.

"Good. Everybody seems nice, except for that individual. "He answered.

"Oohh. . . Is that a woman or an annoying man? He asked teasingly.

"Tss. I won't give you a clue, moron. How's the boys, by the way?"

"Nah, they are still stupid delinquents. You better use this chance to change."

"I know. Going to rest now. Bye."

"Okay bro. Goodbye."

He ended the call and lay his bed to the car seat. He wants to avoid any kind of fighting. He's tired of it.

"Dev, we have a visitor." Dein said. When Devi was about to ask who is their 'visitor', but she already know who it is. . . her Uncle Sam. Her uncle is a fashion designer and obviously he's a gay. He is her mom's brother.

Sam hug her niece tight. He really wants to have a daughter; he is not sure how but he will find a way. Since the day Devi is born who fell in love with her.

"How are you my beautiful niece? Ready for some photoshoot?" Sam asked her and giggled. He wants Devi to be in a front cover of a magazine but her niece always turns down the offer.

"Uncle. . . how many times would you ask me that? You know my answer." Devi said, tired of her uncle's requests. She's not camera shy, she hates the camera.

"I know, I know. Maybe I will be hypnotized you and say yes ha ha, just kidding!" Her uncle said jokingly.

Devi rolled her eyes and giggled in response. Devi excuse herself to change her clothes and went upstairs.

Now that Devi is out of sight. Dein went to her brother and confronted him. "Samson, what really brings you here?" Devi asked, straightforward as always.

"Stop calling me Samson okay! It doesn't suit me. . ."

Dein just laugh. Her brother has a face and a body of a true Adam but he is fiercer than a woman. She needs to respect him, he's the older one.

"Okay, so Devi's father called me last night and he wants to talk to you." Sam said in a serious tone. Sam doesn't know why Devi's father and Dein broke up. But he is sure on one thing, they still love each other. They are just both have too much pride and ego in their system. That's what keeping them apart.

"I don't need him. Tell him that she can visit Devi." Dein said looking away from his brother's eyes. She needs to hide what she really feels. It's that damn man's fault, why they are like this. . .

"Just see him okay! It's not like you'll having a date or what! You need to talk! For the sake of Devi. You've been separated for five years. . . and it has impact on Devi! Open your eyes sister!" Sam said on the top of his lungs. He feels he wants to slap his sister and wake up on her drama.

"Fine. . . but you don't need to shout at me like that. You're not the mother here!" Dein replied and they both laughed at each other's madness.
