"Me! I knew it! I am the best mage, after all. Oh, thank you, Master Long! I won't disappoint you!"

Mandy jumped out of her seat, literally, and shouted. In her head played the following scene.

"You are absolutely correct, Mandy. It was obvious from the start, is it not? There are no other suitable candidates," Master Long said with a warming smile and welcomes her on the stage, presenting her a wand he crafted himself, just for her. Mandy became the best mage and everyone loves her and envies her. Then, her dream bubble bursted.

"Ahem. As I was saying. My real apprentice and not the self proclaimed one, is Miss Snow,"
