"Hey! Did ya guys hear? Seemed like Master Long has finally decided to pick an apprentice!" a young mage wearing a yellow fedora at the Magic Academy said to her friend.


"Really?! Wow, he or she is so lucky! I bet it's Mandy!" the friend who wore twin braids piped up in the conversation. 


"Oh, my, god. I know right. Like she's the prettiest mage, like ever," another one wearing a choker with a black heart shaped pendant said as she fixed her makeup.


"Y-you know... Lily... It's not always about the looks..." a shy girl with huge glasses spoke up.


"Yeah, yeah. But Gina, honey. I like know you're just jealous cause she like has a higher chance of getting the apprenticeship than you, like no lie," Lily spoke up, not caring that she had hurt her friend's feelings with her words.


"Hey! Ya don't have ta be mean!" the fedora girl spoke up.
