Chapter 3

"Hey are you okay with what happened?" Kiyotaka asked Suzune. "About what?" She was confused but kept walking. "About the kiss Kushida gave me." He replied. Suzune hesitated for an answer and stopped walking for a second or two. She continued to walk afterwards without responding to Kiyotaka's question. Kiyotaka stopped and looked at Suzune. Suzune was staring at the ground and bumped into him. Kiyotaka looked at Suzune, "Well?" She shook her head, "Well what? Why would you ask me anyways? It's not like it matters to me who kisses you or not." Suzune kept her head down. She didn't mean what she had just said. She does care when someone would kiss him, but she didn't know why. She didn't want to tell him that she does care. Kiyotaka had an expression of concerned. Out of nowhere Kiyotaka hugged Suzune. Suzune blushed a little while her heart was racing a bit. She wanted to know why she felt the way she did. They hugged before but she had never experience this feeling while hugging him. She hugged him back. "Don't worry. I won't kiss anyone." He said to her with a smile and he patted her head. Suzune stopped hugging him. "I said I don't care who kisses you or who you kiss." She started to walk ahead. Kiyotaka smiled and walked behind her.

It stared to get dark and they decided that they were going to get some rest. They were in a forest. They made camp nest to a river they found. Suzune made a fire and a bed. In the mean time, Kiyotaka took his shoes off and his socks. He rolled up his pants and he went into the river to catch fish. After a while, he caught three fish. In total he wanted to catch four so they can eat one right now and one for breakfast. So two fish each, but the last fish was hard to get. In the end, he ended up catching only three fishes. He gave up. Then he got out of the river and went to Suzune. "Hey Suzune?" Kiyotaka looked around but saw nothing except the bed and the fire. "Suzune", he called out. Suzune jumped down the tree that was next to him. "Hey, you're back." Suzune smiled warmly at him. Kiyotaka blushed a little but it didn't show. "Umm....yeah I am." He rubbed the back of his head thinking 'She looks cute as she smiles- wait what am I saying?!! But it's true though.....Stop thinking this Kiyotaka!! Pull yourself together!!' Suzune saw that Kiyotaka was spacing out. She got close to him, "Hello? Kiyotaka are you there?" He came back to reality and saw Suzune up close to him. He blushed dark red. Suzune looked at him and saw he was blushing. She blushed as she noticed that she was close to him a bit too close. She was about to step back, but Kiyotaka grabbed her by her waist pulling her closer to him. He leaned closer to her and whispered to her, "May I?" Suzune nodded as she was blushing more. Kiyotaka leaned in forward to her and kissed her. Suzune blushed deeply before she kissed him back. After a few seconds (let's say twenty seconds) Kiyotaka broke up the kiss. Suzune looked up at him. Kiyotaka simply smiled at her. Her face became red. She hugged him as she hid her face in his chest. Kiyotaka smiled and he hugged her back. "You want to eat now?" Kiyotaka asked Suzune. She nodded, "Yeah. I'll like that." She smiled as she calmed down.

After they ate, it started to get dark. Suzune threw some sticks in the fire to keep it from going out. She yawned as she threw the last stick in the fire. Kiyotaka looked over to her as he saw that she was sleepy. "Hey do you want to go to sleep now?" He asked her. "I mean I do but..." She paused her sentence. "But what?" He asked her with a concerned tone. "No you're right. I should go to sleep." She got up and went to the bed she made. She stood there before she layed down. Kiyotaka went up to her. She was already asleep. Kiyotaka thought 'How cute.....wait did I really say that?!! And why did I kiss her?!! I mean I like her, right? But as a friend.....if so then why did I kiss her?!! Wait is it because I- no that can't be it...' He sighed and layed down next to Suzune. He closed his eyes trying to fall asleep. After a few minutes he was able to go to sleep. In the middle of the night, Suzune woke up. She was half asleep. She looked next to her to find Kiyotaka laying there sleeping. 'How cute.' She thought to herself. She moved over to him. She looked at him and gave him a little kiss. She got sleepy again. She layed down next to him. "Goodnight.....Kiyotaka", she fell asleep again. Durning the rest of the night, Kiyotaka started to move a lot. He moved from one side to another which was bothering Suzune. As he kept moving, Suzune starting getting mad. "Stop moving already, Kiyotaka...." She said in a normal calm voice. Of course she was mad since he wouldn't stop moving. After Kiyotaka heard Suzune's voice, he stopped moving. He was calm at last. He grabbed Suzune, he wrapped her in his arms not letting her go, and he gave a little warm smile. He mumbled something that was untellable, but Suzune heard what he said. She smiled in her sleep.
