I Missed You

Lu Ye Ze, ended the meeting and headed towards his office. Before he could go in, his secretary informed him, that his mother along with a young woman were waiting for him in the Vip seating area.

Lu Ye Ze didn't plan to greet them, so he entered his office instead. He took care of a few tasks, then switched off his computer and grabbed his jacket, when he was about to exit his office, Lin Yan came in, along with Ele Müller.

Ele Müller is the recently 'lost' daughter of Stefan Müller and Lu Ye Ze's official fiancé. She lived in Germany all these years with her parents, but she was taught mandarin by a private tutor since young, so she mastered the language like a true native. Ele disappeared on her way to China a few weeks back, making her parents dead with worry, but they found her eventually, back in Europe. In Austria to be more exact. She was in the company of a French young man, apparently the heir of a conglomerate in France and she wasn't abducted like her parents thought, she actually eloped with the man having hidden intentions. Ele didn't want to follow her parents to China and marry and old rich man. She was too young and liked to live her life to the fullest.

The tables turned to 180 degrees, when she happened to stumble onto Lu Ye Ze's picture in the Forbes magazine. She realised that her French lover was far behind her Chinese fiancé, in looks and wealth too, so she had changed her mind and returned to China. Obviously when she got back, she told everyone a different story.

"Ah-Ze! You unfilial son! How dare you ignore even your own mother!" Lin Yan scolded her son as soon as she came in. Her plan A had failed miserably, so she needed to put plan B in action.

"It doesn't matter now, I know you are very busy with work. Ele has returned for a while now and you two should have a proper introduction.

She is new here in China, why don't you take her out for dinner and get to know each other better?"

"I have an important meeting this afternoon, I was just heading out. If you ladies can please excuse me!" Lu Ye Ze then left the office, leaving the women dumbfounded and headed towards the underground car park.

He Mufeng from the passenger seat, was briefing him about the location and the business plan for his afternoon appointment with the CEO of Comertz Bank, when Lu Ye Ze cut him off.

"Clear my schedule for today and return to the office, I am heading home!" He Mufeng was stunned, his boss never neglected his work, not even when he was on his death bed and now he is doing this for his woman, he'd better pay more attention to her from now on, if he wanted to carry on living.

Back at the mansion Jo was at the stables grooming a Shire horse, she was lost in her thoughts. Why did she feel a pain in her heart. His Mum was against her, she didn't want her near her son. He has a fiancé already, so why is he messing with me? Such a two timer.

Suddenly a pair of steps were heard in the stables and disrupted Jo's thoughts, she lifted her head and their eyes met. Jo's reaction was to quickly hide, so she crouched behind the horse.

"Fudge!! He already saw me, why did I hide?!" Jo was whispering to her self, ah.. what a cringe reaction.

In the mean time the man, as well crouched, wantimg to make eye contact with her, from the other side of the horse.

"What are you doing?"

Jo's face instantly turned red.

"Umm... I dropped the brush... You are home early!"

Jo managed to pull herself out of that awkward situation.

Lu Ye Ze chuckled lightly "Ha ha ha..." He hadn't finished teasing her yet, so he added.

"I missed you"
