Red Wine

Ele was pondering on how to tackle this situation further, she couldn't fight openly as her reputation will be stained and she also got quite intimidated by Lu Ye Ze earlier. So how could she plan her next move.

Suddenly she caught from the corner of her eye, a familiar figure. Her eyes glistened, an idea had just crossed her mind, she could instigate someone else instead and if this went downhill, the blame would not fall on her.

Ele approached Lu Ye Ze's cousin and her childhood friend in China, Lu Zhen Zhen. She was known for her very hot temper, what she disliked the most, was those pretend maidens, that were meddling between married people and splitting up families for money. Her parents got divorced because of such woman and even her self had fallen victim, to those vicious and unscrupulous women.

Hearing Ele's distress her wounds have been reopened and her rage had resurfaced yet again.

"What is going on here?? Is my cousin blind??? He never let a woman approach him, I know for sure that he kept him self caste, waiting for your return and now I hear that another woman has sneaked in to his bed??? Where is she? I have a word to say to that lowly woman!!" Yelled Lu Zhen Zhen.

"Zhen Zhen don't!! Forget about it... Auntie and Uncle already cancelled our engagement... what is done is done now... we can't do anything more" Whined Ele with a sad face.

Seeing her friend so upset, Lu Zhen Zhen was even more adamant to seek justice for her. How can such an atrocious thing happen in her family yet again. She looked around like a mad dog for her cousin. She spotted Lu Ye Ze near the buffet, helping a woman take a seat at a table, he handed her a plate of food and then he turned and left. Perfect!

"It's her!!! Isn't it?!" She shouted asking Ele.

"Zhen Zhen don't make a ruckus at Auntie's birthday..." Pleaded Ele with an evil glisten in her eyes. It was to late, Zhen Zhen already had marched towards the left alone Jo and started accusing her.

"You vixen!!! What lowly tricks have you played to snatch someone else's fiancé!!! Do you think there is no justice in this world??!!!

Jo got so startled by the shouting happening behind her, that she almost choked on her food. She turned around and saw a young mid twenties girl, wearing a pink princess dress, looking mad and pointing a finger at her. What has she done now and who was this girl. Obviously she had shouted at her in Chinese and Jo displayed a puzzled face. She didn't understood a word.

To the people that gathered around her, Jo's reaction deemed her guilty.

"How despicable, isn't she the girl that created a commotion at the entrance? How did she managed to get in??" Said one guest.

"Maybe she bribed the hostesses in the end!" Replied another.

"Or she got 'acquainted' with the hotel manager"

The gossip around Jo was getting thicker and thicker and she seemed to have had enough for this evening. Jo turned around and pretended that this woman didn't exist. In the end she didn't understood what she had said, as her Chinese was limited.

Jo's reaction infuriated Lu Zhen Zhen even more. "How dare you turn your back at me!! You have no shame!!! You don't even dare to defend your self, because you know that you're guilty! For lowly women like you, the shame and consciousness is extracted at birth, that is why, you all dare to do as you please and ruin families over and over again!!"

Jo couldn't be oblivious at this shouting anymore, so she turned around again. As she turned, a splash of red wine washed her face.
