Crowned Princess Avalyn. Smart, bored, a bit shy with plans that are most certainly better than anything the Court could entertain. Worried endlessly about her safety, her father refuses to let her outside the castle palace without his escort. After all the trouble she gets in with her new Royal Guard, Knight Commander Lord Mikhail she's not sure if all of their adventures were for better or worse.

The Wolf King

Avalyn wasn’t sure if her heart was beating like hummingbird wings or just simply stop altogether as she eyed the wolf. Despite her noticing him, and he very well noticing her, he made no move except to blink. And a rather dramatic long-suffering sigh. 


“Are you going to eat me?” She whispered finally. Not exactly brave enough yet to move. One brow raised, both ears perked. As if it might not be a bad idea. Then he gagged. Avalyn found herself taken aback. She knew he wasn’t an animal but it was odd seeing an animal creature replying as if human, as well as it could portray. She also wasn’t’ sure if she should be offended or not at such a sassy rebuke.
