After they got her to their house, Cole layed her in a spare room in bed, and covered her up. Dylan and Cole sat on the edge of the bed watching her, while Chase was sitting in a chair at the desk. This girl proved to be the most dangerous person in their life. They had let her distract them, break into their office. They even spent fifty million dollars on her.
Chase knew why Cole did it, Cole felt responsible which made Cole mad. If she had only talked to them, if only they had stopped her in the office. Then they could have stopped this, they could have solved her problem and she would be out of their lives, but instead she was lying in bed. Would there still be a chance of fixing her problems, and setting her free. She was dangerous it she stayed around, she would put them in danger he was sure of it. They did not love her, not yet she wasn't theirs, but after tonight was that still true?
What would happen when she woke up and hated them for what they did? What if she screamed at them, and told them to go to hell. It wouldn't be the first time a women has said that to them. Chase knew he would tell her that they didn't have a choice, they were just trying to help. Would she believe them, and why did he care? Why did he want to know what her lips tasted like? What she would do under his touch? Most of all he wanted to turn those whimpers of pain into pressure, but he could never do that. He had to have more self control than the others, he had to stay away from her.
The doctor came and checked on her and said "That with the amount of stress she had been through she was doing quite well." It turned out chloroform was used right from the get go, and when she got to the building they drugged her. So chances were if she was dropped back at her book store she might not remember anything, and wake up with a headache, and believe it was all a bad dream."
There was something else something the doctor couldnt place. There was a chemical in her body that was new. That he had never seen before, and he didn't know what it would do to her. He offered she go to the doctor's, but the three men said no in unison. After telling the boys to keep her cool with a wash cloth, and to make sure if she threw up she wasn't laying down. He had seen in the past people throwing up, and choking on it would be a unpleasant way to go, he left.
"So what do we do?" Dylan taking first care and putting a rag up to her forehead.
"Honestly leaving her alone is out of the question, but what we can do is put her back into her store keep an eye on her from afar, and let her get on with her life."
Cole walked in from the kitchen after grabbing a glass of water with a straw, a bucket, and towel. "Chase do you actually think that is possible now after all this?"
Chase knew what Cole was talking about, he didn't want to but he knew "So what do you want to do put her here in the spare bedroom and tell her, hey we bought you from some auction?"
Cole looked in pain from this. Chase didn't mean to hurt his friend, but he honestly didn't know what to say.
"What we could do is look into the folder they gave us find out her name, where she lives."
Both Cole and Chase looked at Dylan.
" No Chase is right she has to go back to her normal life. We will watch her from afar, but we can't keep interfering in her life."
Dylan wanted to argue with Cole for saying in that, and be mad at Chase for coming up with the idea. Except he knew they were right, but what type of normal life could she have after this?
Cole got called away and it left Chase and Dylan in the room "Dylan I know you want to help her, but she honey doesn't want our help."
"Don't Chase don't. Fine you don't want to help her then fine just say that. Don't make it sound like her fault. Don't make her sound bad for us just because you can't control yourself." Dylan layed the washcloth in her head got up, and headed towards the door.
"Where are you going Dylan she needs to be looked after?"
"I thought you said she needs to be left alone." Smiling Dylan walked out, leaving Chase to fester in his own words.
"Damn you Dylan, damn you."
Chase moved to her side and picked the washcloth up, and dabbed her head with it. Why couldn't it have been someone ugly. He looked at her face, and traced his hands over her cheek.
"Damn it your dangerous, you know that we can't have you."
But she didn't answer him she just later there whimpering.
"Oh come on now your safe, it can't hurt that badly anymore can it?" He grabbed the blankets and tucked it under her chin, waiting for her to say some smart aleck comment that would make him laugh.
She didn't, who was she, and why did she hold so much control over over him? Slowly Chase moved his lips to her's, he was losing control. About to brush his lips on her's, he smelt something sensed something wrong.
"no,no no no." Is all he could say as he moved quickly away from her. Cole broke into the room ending the phone call with Dylan close behind. She was in heat, they could smell it coming from her body. It radiated off her making them want her even more. Her breath picked up, she would awaken soon, and want them just as much, maybe even more than they wanted her.
Cole than ran back out, and back in with the folder. Chase looked over he knew what they had to do. They had to figure this out, because either she went and broke into their office close to heat, or this had been why she was worth so much? Had they figured out how to trigger an omega's heat? Never in his life had he witnessed someone so cruel to do that to a human being, or the drug to do it.
Ready to have to flip through pages and pages of information they opened the folder. They were going to have to get used to surprises especially when it came to her. Inside the folder was barely any information, it said she lived on the edge of town. She was found outside of a bookstore. She had to be in her early 20s, maybe mid 20s, but no name. The auction knew nothing about her, or they weren't willing to share. At the back was a personal letter telling the alpha's that they were able to create a heat. One simulated to act like a natural one, but couldn't be calmed by most medication. Not only did the auction force her into heat, they prevented her from being able to stop it, or calm it from happening. When she woke up she would be in pain and suffering.
"What are we going to do?" Dylan looking to Chase with tears in his eyes.
"She is our problem we will help her, it's the least we can do."
Both Cole and Dylan looked at Chase, he was the one who wanted nothing to do with her, and yet he was the first one to suggest it.
"You know what your suggesting?"
"Yes Cole I know what I'm suggesting. If anyone can help her get through this heat the best way, it's us. I know it's a risk but what else are we going to do? We can't watch her suffer, and we can't send her out on her own like this either." Chase walked back over to the women laying in bed, and removed her blankets. The last thing she needed was extra heat.
