It's true.

I'm tired of loving him.

Red Strings (RS)

The students were bright and eager as they greeted me first in the morning. I smiled and them before telling my name.


"I am Caia Xiu, you can just call me teacher Caia"


"Wow! Teacher! Your name is different from us!" One of the children said, her cheeks were plump red with a ribbon tied in her hair.


"Because my mother wanted my life to be filled with joy"


I guess what we wished for wouldn't truly live up to our expectations.


I have asked, thousands of time, is my name a curse? A mock for what my life is currently in?


Or someone is also suffering the same way as I? I have no idea, but I still ask, some times.


I smiled when hearing the gasp from the students, XueXue was laughing beside me as she shush the class down.


"Alright children, be obedient to our new art teacher okay?" The children obediently answered while I smiled in return.


XueXue left me after patting my back and I was soon greeted with the shining expectant eyes of the children.


"Alright kids, who wants to do finger painting?"


It was a very productive week, An Yi Wei was out doing business somewhere which made my while week smooth without any disturbances.


I also visit Nai Nai every weekdays and told her of the kids and my experience as a teacher. My mother in law would politely asked about my work and would sometimes give me advices, of course I would take it obediently.


My best friend and I have meet less but I would always make sure that I'll chat with her every night. It's like I'm chatting with my boyfriend but in return it was my best friend.


XueXue was a great companion, she's straightforward like A'liu which makes me feel at ease whenever I'm with her. The kids were alos obedient, though there are times where they are unruly, they were easily told off.


I guess it's a bit of a cheat since I've met countless of people and have been subjected to everyone's eyes, my composure has already been molded to be calm and quiet.


My week was fulfilling, something that I never thought I'll say, it's been a long time since I let myself relax.


In this moment of carefree, I didn't knew that something would stir up, or maybe someone deliberately did it.
