ÜberCharge (Part 1; shortest chapter; not even 500 words)

By sheer luck I managed to raise my arms and stop the leg from crushing us completely, but I still grunted. I was, after all, holding the leg of an expy of Godzilla.

Thing was, it didn't actually weigh that much to me. In fact, it didn't weigh at all! Nor the fact that my arm was supposed to still be broken.

In less than twenty seconds later, I would find out why that was.

"We're going to die!" Cubot screamed before shrugging. "Oh well, a life well lived."

"Cubot, and everyone else... First, technically you're not alive, what with being a machine and second, we are not going to die." I replied.

"Why not"?

"Because of this!" I screamed before doing something rather epic.

Punch the giant foot off us. Not push, not shove, punch. With enough force to make it explode, and Metal Sonic scream and fall, making the ground heave. Even then, we could clearly hear the shouts and exclamations of the rest of the Restoration as the giant robot fell.

"Vanilla, Cream, you stay here." I told them. "I have a giant tincan to deal wit."

"But you're... wounded?" Vanilla said before giving me a good look.

Her confusion was justified for the simple fact that I was unscathed. No burn marks, no burnt beard, no smoking skin... Even my broken arm was fixed! I of course had chalked it up to the adrenaline and anger, but willpower alone doesn't heal broken bones.

"And weren't you slapped by Dr. Starline, then thrown through a portal, madam?" Orbot pointed out. Indeed, not only she seemed like she was perfectly fine, even her clothes were fine, as were mine.

"Boss, why are you red?"

"Uh?"

So focused I was on Vanilla that I didn't realize my arms were indeed glowing red, not just the sleeves but the arms themselves too. My hands, while also red, had lighting sparking on them.

"Eggman... why are your eyes glowing yellow?" Vanilla asked me.

Uh. Maybe I really was the Engineer.
