He was thinking of going to retrieve the helmet of Jin from who he had given it to. Then getting it, he would flee Rome and go to the other side of the river. Then he would be able to sell it and start a new life afresh. How thoughtful that was.
He wasn't sure if he had the courage for that. It seemed really easily to think but his grit was still feeble and he must extol that else he would be belatedly hurting himself and he knew that he wouldn't afford to do that.
There were quite the numbers of odds about what he had in his mind. A lot of things could come up and smear his plan. He wasn't sure if he would be able to stand his ground and fight his way around it. He wished that he would be able to.
But he knew that whatever would come would meet him gallant. He would awaiting it eagerly. Though he might not know what to do at that moment, but time would teach him what to do. He had been there before and had been able to figure shit out.
He stared blankly at the ceiling. He was emotionless. At least that was what he looked like. Though he didn't know. He had no idea what hurt he was doing to himself. He was just wearied and tired of the whole things. Twas quite displeasing to discover everything just at a point in time. He couldn't process all at a go.
He had thought that the lady was his only and he was entitled to her. Like she was a landed property and he had paid for her. Not really a dowry or bride price but a rite. Made sense to him though ridiculous as it seemed.
He had thought of what to do with her. He had wanted to have her cherished and do all his best to take care of her even if he wouldn't marry her. He had no idea why he had felt that way about her.
An instinct told him that he was in love with her but it made no sense to him. How would he possibly be in love with someone he had had sex with only once. Where did the love come from. He was more than sure that twas love at first sight. Twas very far from that.
He tried to have a playback of his life. Had ever fallen in love? That wasn't to require an answer. Twas a rhetoric to him. He had never. He knew that. All the ladies he had met were by chances and he was always smart to take his advantage of them. Like he had of the lady.
He could possibly forget about the lady and keep his life going on but he couldn't help it. The more he tried to forget about her the more he thought about her. His heart had been made a parcel of land which had been cut outta strife and want. He had no idea which was having the best part of him. He wished that he had an idea.
But even if he wouldn't forget about her, at least he didn't need her at that moment. Not when the shit had happened.
He had some footsteps approaching the hut. He had no idea who was coming. But he had seen all of them walk away. And he was sure that whenever the lady leaves a place, she hardly would return there. Therefore, he was she that it could never be the lady.
He was expectant. The footsteps kept coming loudly which sufficed the fact that the owner of the steps was moving closer to the door of the hut. Was there even a door there?
Could it then be Jimin coming there? Why would he come there? What did he have with the lady. He had been glad that he was a great person and had stood for his siblings, but then? Well, he couldn't be sure yet. He would be patient to figure out.
He saw a hand at the back of the curtain. He wasn't going to stand up from there. He was so sure about it.
But he was seating on the bed at that moment. He wasn't lying anymore. He wanted to be up for it whenever the person would make his or her way into it. It should be a "he". He was damn sure.
The hand pushed the curtain sideways and he saw the person step in. What the hell!
Twas the lady, The fuck was she doing there. He had thought that she wouldn't return there. He had just being judgemental for naught. He had no idea where she picked the clothes she was putting on from. He had noticed that she was naked when he had looked into the hut whenever the fight was ongoing.
"You came to have me too?"
She smiled and walked towards him.
He was irritated at moment. He knew that he had no cool and could do what might probably hurt her. So, he was going to keep his calm and make her walk away.
"You just don't think, do you?"
He spat at her. He was hoping that what he had said would nauseate her but it didn't. She matter-of-factly was still wearing the crazy smile she was used to.
"Yes I don't. Whenever I see you."
He scoffed. He wouldn't be fooled. Never!
"How fast you are in learning. I saw that you've been learning from a scroll lately. Haven't you?"
She frowned at that moment and rushed to him. She placed her left hand on his head and pressed it. The hand began to feel warm on his head till it started to burn him. He wanted to shake her off but her grasp on her was too strong.
Hell! He didn't know that she could be that strong.
She dropped her hand and was seated by his side. He quickly reached his hand to his head to feel if there was already a gore there, but there wasn't.
He looked at her and dragged his bum on the berth away from her. He had no idea what next she did have in mind.
She smiled again and spoke.
