After

----Leo----

I woke up, feeling as bruised and battered as I had felt after the fight.

I saw Athena floating over me, silent dissapointment apparent on her face.

"You held back. Why? You could've defeated him."

I ignored her while I looked around, it was the room I had been assigned.

Sitting next to the bed was Maura, sleeping calmly with a book in her hand.

A note had been left in my hands, written by Hestia.

'When you wake up, please stay in your room.'

I stood up and took a shower, Athena still looking at me with that same face.

"I don't know."

Surprise crossed her face. There was one thing she knew about me for syre, and that was that I was very self aware, I knew and acknowledged my flaws.

I knew why I took certain actions that would baffle other people when they took them.

Me not knowing why I did something was rare.

Seeing the bruises and cuts on my body was weird, they should've healed by now.

When I tried to heal myself I saw that it wasn't working.

I turned to Athena.

"I don't know, it should've healed you."

I wanted to go find a doctor to see if they could help me.

When I opened my door I nearly tripped over a small pile of things.

A tablet, a book on certain superpowers, a black coin with the symbols of the three organizations on it and a note that told me to watch the bideo file on the tablet, then read a specific chapter in the book.

I did what it told me too because the handwriting was familiar.

The video on the tablet was Thea's first act of heroism which had let to her being arrested.

The blue lightning flowing around her whilst she attacked was mesmerizing.

When I was done watching, I knew that I needed to stop participating in the tournament as fast as possible.

----Ana----

Looking at the battle between Leo and the other guy, I was surprised how easily Leo had been defeated.

He had been stronger when he'd fought against me, which means he'd been holding back.

I was kind of angry at that, it was like saying that since I had been defeated that I was weaker than that guy, and I could easily beat him.

Last was sitting in on the bed, playing some video games.

"So he hold back? Calm down Ana, who cares, it's not like there aren't others hiding their powers."

Bao was playing with some dolls.

"Yeah Ana, we all know that you could take on Strongarm no sweat."

I chuckled at the exaggeration.

"Strongarm is a little bit too strong for me, but I could take him on for a few minutes, I think anyways."

Bao pouted because I said she was wrong and then went right back to playing with her dolls.

Looking at my bracelet, I saw that our group was up in the team battles in 2 hours.

Time to dominate this tournament

----Leo----

I got a call from Hestia, asking if I was doing alright. After I said that I was, I immediately asked how fast I could stop participating in the tournament.

"That's a weird thing to want but if you really want to stop then you can stop after the first round. I would still try to win it, you'll get a price and move up in rank and once you withdraw the second place will be moved into a technical first place and so on."

"Ok, thanks."

The second thing I did was get into contact with Heffy, even if the suit probably wouldn't be done before I would take action, it would still be nice to have a chance to have it when I needed it.

When I contacted her, she said that she would only be able to start after the tournament and that I should contact her then.

Having wrapped that up, I started creating a few weapons, I had been relying on combat knives too much, I needed a few weapons that would give me some distance.

I created a set of 5 throwing knives that would always hit the thing I was targetting and return to me when they did, a bow that created arrows out of elemental particles and a bastard sword.

After that, I also created a harness that would allow me to have easy access to all my weapons.

When I was done, I went to the lobby to eat something, waking up Maura and asking if she wanted something.

Maura just came with me so we had a nice big meal, I enjoyed the moment while it lasted, knowing that this was just the calm before the storm.
