Long San

Eighty Years Later, Spirit Mountains, Four elders from the Phoenix Sect were chatting.

"Long San has turned completely vile and reckless. What happened to the boy that used to play with girls and tip them generously? I'd much rather hear those girls scream into the morning than blood curdling screams."

"I heard after his father died something possessed him. I heard it was a Gu type spirit pet from the spirit mountains."

"We'll kill him today. If he tries to get away, no matter what insect type spirit pet he's been raising he's still only level 70!"

"Long San, you can't run no matter what! Us four elders from the Phoenix Sect will make sure that you pass away before another soul is harmed! Hmph, we have you trapped in the Spirit Mountains! Your death will save millions of lives! Prepare to die an untimely and horrible death!"

Long San was dressed in an extremely beautiful blue robe stained with his own blood. A few women were laying dead beneath him with gut wrenching expressions frozen on their faces.

He had long black hair that had turned unkempt with pale skin from spending the last few years inside the mountains. The resources he'd been able to receive since becoming an evil spiritualist had been virtually nothing.

When he first started his life, he never anticipated someone would kill his father, his first spirit pet who happened to be his girlfriend, and even go as far as to massacre everyone that participated in tournaments with him.

Mae Sewan, An Ai, and his father had been slaughtered so viciously that something inside him snapped. He began to attract the most Evil Spirit Pets in the world.

There were many different types of spirit pets, insects, dragons, phoenixs, warriors, humanoid, beast type spirit pets. Frankly, there were over 300 unique types…

Those that he attracted, however, were extremely and unspeakably vile and evil. Unfortunately, all but one of his spirit pets had been slaughtered for him to live. He only had one omnipresent type spirit pet left that had never awakened.

He sighed. Unlike in other webnovels that he'd read growing up in his other world, a world he couldn't even remember the name of, in this world those with power completely took advantage of those weaker than them. He looked down at the dead bodies dressed in various robes from various sects as multiple spirit masters over level 90 flew towards him. If he got a chance to go back in time, he'd be a thousand times more sneaky and manipulative!

"Long San! You've killed too many to be let live!" A powerful voice seemed to tear through the heavens. The rich mountains around Long San, full of green verdant life, seemed to shake from the powerful men approaching him. "Surrender! We know you still have the Grey Lord Gu Metamorph inside of you. Expel it from your spirit cavity, and perhaps we'll let you live!"

"In the end… it looks like i never got what I wanted. " Long San laughed and pulled out his dagger. Why did this seem so familiar? "Oh well, Grey Lord Metamorph, do you mind if I see if the rumors are true. If I stab this blade into you, you will explode, and tear apart everything around me?"

Long San watched the handsome elders from all the powerful sects under the Dragon Emperor's alliance soar towards him before he twisted the dagger into his spiritual cavity while tears flowed down his eyes.

"Hahaha! If there is a next life, I will never make such stupid mistakes again," Long San felt the dagger pierce into his spirit pet's shell hidden deep inside of him before he felt like he was about to explode. The pain was unbearable, but not nearly enough for him to close his eyes and to see if those approaching him were torn a part.

The next moment, he felt a powerful force shooting him into the sky before the entire mountains seemed to be swallowed into a sea of flame. He definitely figured out he exploded when his head hit the ground. He got to see those approaching him explode into bits and pieces. It seemed the Grey Lord Gu Metaporph had decided to give him that honor by protecting only his head.

Spirit Mountains.

A beautiful set of mountains were nested on the outskirts of one of the many sacred lands. The sun snuck through the center of the curving mountains while dozens of spiritualists woke up to begin their morning training.

In a small hut on the outskirts of the village, a small group of children were about to pick their first spirit pets. The choosing of spirit pets was a sacred tradition that almost every child got to experience at the age of 12.

However, in the room behind where the spirit pets were chosen, the caretaker of those spirit pets was currently with a beautiful woman. She had long streaks of blonde hair with pale skin that shimmered through the green house.

A few spirit pets seemed agitated that the caretaker was with such a beautiful woman. A Grey haired monkey tossed a banana at the wall where the girl was sitting fully clothed on top of a man. She had wanted to upgrade her spirit pet, and found Long San on a break so took advantage of it by kissing him for over an hour.

"My family can never hear that I was here, Long San. Do you hear me?! If you tell them I came to visit you to upgrade my spirit pet I will stop visiting you so often!"

"An Ai? You're still alive?" Long San said in disbelief. The shock on his face couldn't be hidden even if he tried his hardest.

An Ai had been slaughtered over the course of days and days by the leader of Black Heart Palace over 85 years ago. She was the reason he originally joined the Wingless in hunting for Black Heart Palace's stronghold. He couldn't believe he was seeing her once again.

He watched her leave and hike up her stockings before he realized he was back in the greenhouse where he took care of spirit pets. Because he was from a poor familial sect, he worked here and fed the spirit pets in exchange for receiving items he needed to level his spirit pets up.

Insects and pretty much all spirit pets needed spirit food in order to reach higher levels, and in turn, that would cause Long San's own level to rise. What sucked the most is that if you got a second level 20 spirit pet and you were level 50, your level would drop until you nourished them to higher levels properly. There was many way to nourish spirit pets, and one way that many spirit pets liked was why An Ai came to visit, bonding with another human being.

She was the rich daughter of the White Clan and he was just a nobody from the Blue Merchant Clan. He sighed, and watched her leave. If he was really back in the past, there were so many things he wanted to do.

However, then he decided to look into his spiritual cavity, the area where spirit pets were kept inside of his spirit core. He was only level 10? He was pretty sure the last time he was at least level 20 when he was 18 years old! He looked at himself in the mirror, witnessing his dark brown locks. He should be level 30! What could have happened?

'I have brought us back to time master' A voice appeared inside Long San's head that instantly caused him terrible pain. 'Feed me so we can slaughter them all! So we can make all those bastards who wronged you pay!"

Long San took a deep breath and watched a set of children coming in the room before he rushed out and went to the area where the caged spirit pets were kept. He immediately grabbed a small device on the wall called a spirit lens and put it over his dantian! This was used to check what spirit pets he had inside of him!

[Two spirit pets found.]

[Grey Lord Caterpillar (Level 1) (Omnipresent Rank)]

[Silver String Insect (Level 30) (Nascent Rank)]

'Omg… no way.. I really have traveled back in time? This is not a dream? If that's the case, then in 5 minutes, will there be an attack on the East Gate?'

'If that's the case, then doesn't that mean my father is also going to die today?

Long San looked outside from the greenhouse window and saw a parade was happening. It was the annual sect parade where all the sects marched in the streets before making it to Spirit temple and worshiping the Spirit deity.

Today, his father when he was giving his offering, was going to get completely devoured by a black thorn venomous man trap. He-he couldn't believe it, so many memories were flooding back to him. However, he was only level 10! What could he do to stop it?

"There is one thing I can do now that I've gone back in time and reentered into the body I originally reincarnated into. Grey Lord Caterpillar. Are you conscious now? Can you tell me what food you need to get stronger?"

"I-I need to eat other spirit pets. The stronger the better." The Grey Lord Caterpillar's deep voice entered into his head. "Feed me master! Feed me so I can make you stronger!"
